Such a cool spot. The owner seems like a really cool individual to work with. Located Ocean front a cool small plaza to sit and enjoy and outstanding seafood salad and the best fried coconut empanadas, pana, or plantains. I personally had a hot bowl of shrimp sopón (soup). If ever in La Perla, San Juan PR you have to treat yourself.

We stopped in on our way to El Morro and it was amazing! Nestor was so nice and accommodating, answering all of our questions. The food was delicious and fresh, made right after we ordered. I would highly recommend, just bring cash because it’s cash only!

Walked in around 8pm or so with my friend, just looking for something quick and easy before going to the bars. We ordered the sampler to share and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was!! Best fish tacos I’ve ever had, plus the perfect tostones, empanada, fried queso with guava dip, and more - it was all soooo good! The chef came out to check on us and I was so glad to tell him directly how much we loved the food. Simple, straight forward food that you can tell is made with care!

This is Puerto Rican food. Skip the fancy places and enjoy the food like a local. We had rice and beans with pork stew and it was amazing. Way more food than you need, but it was delicious. Had a couple of beers while listening to someone play the drums and sing. Well worth the visit!
