Great birthday dinner. I am a lityle late celebrating but i am homeless-broke and knew i had a free meals here. Was treated with respect by jose. He was awesome. He knew i didnt have tip to give but treated me like a person. Thanks jose. I know i looked like a hot mess but this really made my day. 2 kids and dealing with all of the shit. Worth it. I came here with My family last month. Restaurant was organized when I came in, Everyone was prepared. Amazing service, food was fast and hot. Bussboy/Food preparator Arturo is very hard working man. He is very quick and clean to pick up everything up from they tables and leaves them spotless. He is very clean when cutting veggies and preparing for Food.

The breakfast pancakes are amazing and much less expensive than iHOP. They have a light Slim Slam breakfast which is very good too! The staff are polite and hard working. The bathroom is clean. Decent parking and right off the freeway.

We had another great experience at this location. Our server was excellent. Food was delicious. I ordered a burger and it was juicy and tasty🤤. The restaurant was clean and is a family environment. Thank you again!!

Great visit this morning! Breakfast was delivered in less than 5 minutes! Friendly and attentive staff. Also placed a to go order which was ready in 5 minutes.

Thus is my sister's go to spot when she gets off of work. There is a great waiter there that always makes her feel special and always greets here with her favorite diet beverage as she is seated. The soup was good, as was the grilled cheese.

I love this place. The location is awesome. So if you need it go home quickly you can get right on 580 East or going back towards Castro valley Way. Just very convenient. The staff is cool. Daddy young man that was really cool in doing his job. He made sure that we were taking care of it was about six of us. Job well done I can't remember his name. But who don't see him he got a nice tip.

I always come here super late night the night crew always provides great service and are always in a good welcoming mood especially the Hispanic gentleman he goes above and beyond and I always ask for a chocolate milkshake and unlike other locations at this Denny's they never hesitate to make me a fresh milkshake from real chocolate ice cream, other places have turned me down because "they were about to change shift" or "their machine didn't work" only to find that that the machine worked just fine and the worker didn't feel like making it. Anyway also the cooks that have worked the late night shift here have a good attitude and prepare food the way I like, and quickly. Thank you guys very much.

It was a busy Saturday morning; I sat down within seconds of walking in the door. After glancing at the menu for 3-5 minutes, the waiter took our order and brought us our food within minutes.

I haven't been to Denny's in a while, the last one was probably in Emeryville. That being said, we came in with our niece cause she wanted some pancakes. I ordered the Super Slam meal and was so happy to see the price didn't go up, which was a pretty good deal! I got my eggs scrambled and didn't care for the bacon so I got all sausages instead. The hash browns were crispy and delicious. I did end up packing the pancakes to take home. 🥞 Service was great and the waitress was nice also. Overall, I would come back. 😊

I usually come here about 3 times a month after work, and this location never fails to impress. Kudos to the night crew for always serving me the freshest, tastiest food, and for being attentive on refilling my drink. I love the salmon dish, with a side of cooked sunnyside up eggs. You can’t go wrong here, they have an array of dishes that I believe suits everyone’s needs.

Mary made this a memorable Dennys trip. My family and I had just left the Mcr concert, and went looking for a place to eat. This Dennys wasn't too far, and not overly busy. I didn't want dinner, so I asked for ice cream. Mary said she'd make me something good and she delivered. The very tasty banana split is in a picture down below!! Wow was it good! And it didn't cost too much. :)) I was very pleased, and everyone else's food looked good too. This location, by far, surpasses all others in the area. 9 out of 10, cooks are spot on with food and portions. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Location may become busy but staff makes sure no customer falls into the crack of being overlooked.

I got the Bourbon bacon burger ($$), it's one of my favorites. Always love to dip their fries in Ranch, so good. The only thing that's a down side for us, is that they don't have their typical kids eat free day here. Which comes in handy for us sometimes given that we have 3 kids. They didn't go with us this time but it would have been nice to know, for future outings. Still good though when your group doesn't really want to eat the same thing there is a bit of variety.

I like this one. I was going to the one in Oakland by airport and it has a smell but is clean. The pancakes would be to fluffy and sometime my food would not be hot. Now this site has good good food and pancakes just right. The place smells like food and the staff are great. This place has allot of family that comes and the services is quick. The last time I was here was maybe four years ago during a busy lunchtime. But during this visit, it was around 5 AM & I was eager for some hearty breakfast after a trip to the nearby Kaiser Permanente ER. It was nice & quiet at this early time with only a couple of other tables occupied, so it was a peaceful, soothing visit. My server was friendly, courteous, & responsive. I ordered one of the breakfast platters (steak, hash browns, two eggs, choice of bread) plus the free-refill orange juice - all of which were delivered to my table under 10 minutes. So I really appreciate the fact that Denny's is open 24/7 for dine-in at this location so close to the hospital, & that service is prompt. The only thing that disappointed me was not being able to order a cup of the soup of the day, which my server told me was only available during certain hours. I hope they make all the menu items available 24/7. Other than that, I was actually pleasantly surprised by my Denny's experience, given some bad reviews I've read here & there. I like the service & food - at least in this location. May it stay that way, & I will definitely come back. Thanks!

The restaurant was very busy. I went at around 9:45-10:00am on a Saturday morning so I guess it's to be expected. Friendly staff, good service, and yummy food. My only issue was with the restroom. There was only 1 stall in the ladies room. ONE! And it was not the cleanest either. It smelled pretty bad in there. Of course there was a line so had to wait about 12 or 13 minutes. I can imagine that being an issue with a small child or someone who needs to go real bad. It's a rather large restaurant so more then one toilet should be a given. Plenty of parking including handicapped.

Always a savior for quick coffee and breakfast even at 3 in the morning. The staff was friendly and super helpful. However, coffee was served with ONLY one half&half flavor. No hazelnut, french vanilla as mentioned in the menu. Chicken Skillet was delicious 🤤

You can always count on Denny's for good comfort food.

Stopped by this 24/7 diner for a late-night bite, and honestly, it was just what I needed. The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and stacked high — definitely the highlight of my meal. I also tried the bacon and eggs combo, which was cooked just right, though the hash browns could’ve been a little crispier. The coffee was surprisingly good too — strong enough to keep me awake but still smooth. Service was fast and friendly, but I couldn’t help noticing that the booth upholstery looked pretty worn out. The place could use a little refresh, but if you’re craving solid comfort food at any hour, this spot does the trick.

The waiters & waitress has always been great never an issue. The cooks is a hit or miss for me. A good portion of the time its been ok - good. The first time my friends and I came it was great. We used to go to the one in Hayward near Walmart but went here instead since our food was prepared much better. It has slowly declined to just "ok" cooking. Very early morning. The Alameda county Sheriff's we're illegally searching my home for accusations made about my 17 yes old son and we were forced out for numerous hours so we sat at Denny's. The waitress was awesome and very understanding of our situation. She kept refills coming for the little ones (8 & 9, who had school in a couple hours). The food was as to be expected. But the service was what made it worth the 3 stars and not just a half of a 🌟!!!!

Service can be hit or miss, but generally very pleasant and fast. Several menu items have been unavailable for some time. You don't find this out until you order. Prices have gone up (for instance an extra slice of French toast is $4.99... up from $2.50 - $4.99 for a slice of white bread with an egg wash on it - let that sink in). They don't tell you about the price changes until it's time to pay... no concessions.. Bad on you Denny's.

NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY Food and service were great. However, at the end we asked if they could handle our payment at our table since we are both handicapped. They refused, said we had to come up to the counter. We asked if they would please put a chair at the counter and owner then made a big deal out of putting a chair there. We felt belittled for asking. We tipped waitress with cash. No thank you from owner as we left.

For breakfast: food and service was good. For lunch: different story. Food was OK, but service was so show and they left us completely unattended. One cup of coffee, no ketchup for the kids and they only came to drop off the bill (didn't even bother to ask if we needed anything or would like desserts).

My family and I have been coming to this particular Denny's since I was a kid. They have gone down hill. The pandemic is just another lame excuse for laziness. We ordered the food and it came out in 5 minutes. No one cooks two meals that fast. I am a self taught chef. I know. My burgers were ok but greasy and my mothers meal was very greasy. Rushing through damn near basically re cooking is what it taste like. Unacceptable.

The food was delicious and filling, but for some reason, when I got the bill, I found that I had spent 40 dollars on breakfast for my wife and I!! I don't know how it happened, but everything on the receipt was what we ordered. I must not have paid attention to prices on the menu before I ordered, because that was outrageous. Other than that, though, the experience was delightful!

My skillet was burned and my husbands hamburger was soo gross. The bread was cold and the meat seemed as though it was microwaved. The establishment itself smelled funky and dirty. My husband and I went there Sunday evening to get dinner. The waiter was really nice however our food looked like something you was a TV dinner which you heat up in the microwave. For $63.40 we barely even touched our steaks we ordered. I wasn’t expecting it to be the greatest steaks in the world but I did expect it to look like actual steaks. I don’t even wanna mention the bland mash potatoes and bland broccoli. Chewing on rubber would have been more pleasant then eating that. I can’t say I ever want to go back to a Denny’s after this.

The customer service here is horrible! Me and my sisters in christ went here to est breakfast after parking for the homeless and got yelled at by an employee. The food was great but the service was rude and not warm at all, felt rush and wasn't ask for refills. The tables were dirty and the light was dim, you can guess why....hmm maybe to hide what was evident. If you don't know Spanish you're also treated wit disdained. Sorry talking to the cook in Spanish instead of seeing what customers want doesn't get tips or shows good service.

Don't trust these places people I'm going to describe an experience I had in that place I used to go there but one time me and my girlfriend noticed inside of the iced tea cup a loogie spit in halfways of the cup the ice was really covering it and I ended up finding out about it because I decided to scoop the ice out of the cup and that's when I seen it I even told my girlfriend what the hell is this so I asked the guy which they all act like they so friendly but I asked one the one that served as the food about it and he got nervous but he did see it but he was acting like he did not know what it was and I told him that's a damn Luigi spit man I don't know who did it but there was a damn Luigi spit in my iced tea cup and that's that and to tell you the truth I've been watching the news there is people that do this type of stuff in the food even worse so make your own judgment make sure you search what's inside of your food cuz there's really people that do this type of nasty stuff and I'm never going there again because of that and this is what happened to me like I said make your own research the manager called me telling me to remove this review out I did take it off but I thought about it I said no because I don't want nobody else to face the same situation like me whoever did that needs to be fired there's no excuses for some nasty stuff like that

Service is excellent, very kind. Although, the food tastes really bad. Salmon was very fishy and we had gotten a lasagna and it tasted old... We have went to Denny's in Monterey and food tasted fresh and it was delicious with the same food we ordered.

My table area smelled so bad! I try to eat but I felt nauseous because of the smell coming from the bathroom, My coffee was cold and after a while ( long time) my sever showed up and try to gave me refill. My omelette looked good so I took it home. I went to the register to pay and the person at the register was busy on the computer didn't even acknowledge me, minutes later just took my bill told me to insert my card and that was it!! Didn't ask anything or said anything. I know is Denny's but it wasn't free. I was in my break and couldn't have a bite for a while because I spend few hours with nausea. I spent my money ($24) I couldn't have my breakfast. Next time...... No, actually it will be no next Time.

the alleged manager is very disrespectful, I asked him for a food order and I made a comment with my friends and we laughed, that was reason enough for the manager to start making sarcastic and offensive comments, I asked him not to talk to me and he continued being sarcastic and abusive with his comments, I tried to talk to one of his bosses and he made fun of me, then I asked another waiter to attend to me and explain the reason and the manager made sarcastic comments and made fun of me again, I think that as a manager and waiter leaves a lot to talk about and is not the way to treat a lady.

When in to have a good meal, ended up leaving my food on the table(respectably paying for the dinner I did not eat) and not getting any service. We were seated and got our drinks, but as soon as a party came in we were ignored the rest of the time. My burger was everywhere and did not hold its shape, asked for grilled onions, did not get that, asked for a different bun, did not get that, onion rings were kinda cold, ask another server for a little help, and they said,"someone will come soon." Sadly disappointed. I really enjoyed this place.

The kitchen staff was playing loud Spanish music at night and yelling back and forth to each other. The restrooms were not very clean. And I don't remember what Skillet dish I ordered but it seemed like it had a lot more onions than it should have. this is the pile that I took out of the meal

WAITED 30 MINUTES FROM BEING SEATED TO EVEN GET OFFERED A DRINK!!! WE WERE ONLY A PARTY OF 2 & WE ONLY CAME TO ORDER PANCAKES BRO! A FAMILY SEATED AFTER US PLACED THEIR ORDER! CESAR (WHO I BELIEVE IS A MANAGER!!) FINALLY TAKES OUR ORDER & I ORDER FIRST SIMPLE BUTTERMILK PANCAKES MY HUSBAND ORDERS CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES. GUESS WHO DOESN'T GET THEIR PANCAKES??? ME! I TOLD MY HUSBAND ITS OK ITS PROBABLY COMING, HE SAT WAITING FOR ME TO GET MINE FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES MORE! MY HUSBAND BRINGS IT TO HIS ATTENTION THAT I NEVER GOT MINE AND STILL.. NOTHING. SO WE WALKED TO THE REGISTER TO PAY & ALTHOUGH CESAR FORGETS MY PANCAKES HE DOESN'T FORGET TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PANCAKES I NEVER RECEIVED. DISAPPOINTED AND MY HUSBANDS PANCAKES SHOULD'VE BEEN COMPED AFTER THAT BS FROM A MANAGER NONETHELESS!

1/27/26 around 11am. The waiter not once came to see if we needed refills on drinks or wanted anything else while servicing all the tables around us . The food was mid at best and over charging for small amounts of food should be illegal. Horrible service will not be eating at this location again.

Missing bacon and entire order mixed together. So I ordered for pickup. 4 everyday value slams. They give me a box full of eggs. A box of 4 pieces of bacon and 2 boxes with pancakes eggs and 2 bacon in it. I ordered 4 orders for four different people and now I have to touch the food to separate it. This is the third time this san leandro marina location has done this. When I order 4 orders I expect them to come in their own boxes. You gave me four containers. I call them and the worker on the phone asked the cook in spanish why the food was separated and this liar said "the ticket said to separate the food in each container" from my pictures it clearly shows the eggs and bacon being in the same container. All mixed up. What the heck is their problem? Laziness? Go to the other san leandro location this place instead if you want good service. They weren't even sorry about it. All he said was "what do you want me to do"

Had a coupon and ordered over the phone, told them at time of ordering about coupon, was told they would take care of it when I picked up order. Upon getting there was told I had to done in to use coupon and it was preferred as to go, they would not allow me to change it to dine in, they said I would have to make a whole new order and wait for it to be made in order for their system to accept the coupon. They wouldn't just let me take the to go order at the table so since the order couldn't be paid for, I didn't have enough without the coupon, I left after trying to pay for the order as a dine in so it wasn't wasted. Then was told no manager would be there until the next day, this was at 7 am on a Thursday.. ?

J Super stuff

Funny, came here on a business trip last year and it was pretty decent for food and service, but this most recent visit was a big disappointment! Ordered a salad and they had old, rusty lettuce that looked like it belonged in the garbage. I asked the waitress when she finally checked on me and she said it was fine. Poor quality from the kitchen and service was poor as well. I’ll avoid this place going forward and suggest that others do as well.

Due to a NationWide shortage of products. There is not many options on the many actually, most of the time they only have eggs and no milk. SERVICE IS SO #TERRIBLE ! STAFF IS RUDE AND MANAGEMENT CLUELESS, IF YOU VALUE YOUR FAMILY TIME DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. ONE OF THE #WORST DENNYS LOCATIONS.
