Equator Coffee

Note! This location is *just* the roastery, they do not sell coffee to retail customers here! I live in San Diego but visit Marin frequently; Equator has the best coffee in Marin as far as I'm concerned, and I mail-order beans from them as well. Lots of great choices especially if you're looking for more exotic beans (natural processed, anaerobic, etc)

This is The Best fresh roasted coffee beans I've ever bought. And I'm comparing it to a $65/pound brand I Used to buy! Plus it's Organic and Fair Trade. My favorite is French Roast, but really, all their selection choices are Superb!!

One of the best things about living in southern Marin County is Equator Coffees. We have been making espresso with their proprietary TK blend, fresh roasted, for years. Complex, rich, not heavy. Carefully sourced, shipped, blended and roasted. Thomas Keller uses Equator in his restaurants, which is how we found them. While they ship to chefs nationally after each day’s roasting, it’s a delight to be able to pick it up directly from the roaster and brew it immediately. And it’s nice to support a successful women-owned and run business.

Just finished a bag of the Guatemala Finca. I've been drinking a lot of single origin coffee for the last 7+ years and this is easily top 10. Best beans I've bought in recent memory period. So complex. Sooooo good. Will order more again in the future, and DEFINITELY stopping by one of your coffee shops next time I'm in the bay.

Alas, this is just the corporate office and roastery. We love Equator too much to be bothered by this small hiccup. Keep on keepin' on !

A California friend recommended Equator. These folks sell terrific and interesting coffees and coffee blends. Innovative combinations. Superior mail order service.

I was staying at the Hotel Rex and they serve this coffee, I enjoyed it so much I emailed them to inquire the brand of coffee they use. I'm in love with this coffee, this is the best coffee, and I thought Peet's was better than Starbuck's, well, this is better than Peet's :))
