Very fine services great fish &chips my wife was pleased having the fresh Alaskan halibut nice atmosphere takes you back in time about how fish were caught what they had to go through to get them all in all real nice place only other thing you needed was the fog horns in the background
I've been going there for years. Very good food. The fish sandwich is awesome.
I came from Minnesota and brought my mother here.. Excellent food and service. A must stop place when visiting.
5 stars, delicious food, great service, prices are moderate, my Mom and I love going there
Friendly atmosphere great food and not just sea food. Not too expensive.
Love the fish and chips. Also like to order the shoom burger.

I ordered beer battered fish tacos. Got the chipotle sauce on the side. It had a little kick for a wimp like me. Tortilla chips and salsa came with it. Iced tea is good. That's a plus to me. Good service when the are not swamped.
Very good food, but the service was slow both waiting to order and getting the food.
We enjoy going to the Jetty. Food is always good. It's our go to restaurant when we come into Santa Maria.
Good food and speedy, friendly service. Came here with my grandparents and they love this place.
Food is good. The place is very dated and can use a face lift.

Just ate here, we've been coming here for years on our yearly trips down south. Unfortunately, the food quality is not the same. Broiled fish is definitely not what I got with the triple combo of shrimp, calamari and cod. If anything it was boiled. Big difference between boiled and broiled! Fish was overcooked and chewy, and needed flavor. So sad, when we looked so forward to coming here. Will we give this place another chance? Mango mahi mahi was also overcooked. Portions were large, but I'd rather have less and perfectly cooked.
Not amazing, but solid. If you're in Santa Maria and you want fried fish, it's the good local option.
The fish was good but the salad was not good. Just need to add pineapple juice.

I read the reviews expecting to have a great experience. I was sorely disappointed. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. I had a booth in the corner. I ordered the Mango Mahi Mahi. The temperature was warm and muggy in the restaurant. I also noted several flies circling me and landing on my arm during the meal. The bowl of clam chowder came out very thick and "porridgy". The side salad came in a very small bowl so croutons and lettuce were falling all over the table. They shoved the plastic container of dressing "in the salad" which was already overflowing the tiny bowl. The Mahi Mahi came out very dry and at 18.00 I expected a larger portion. The place seems a bit run down (could use some fresh paint). So all in all very disappointed. Seriously guys, turn the AC on at least.
Very bland food. Tastes like everything is frozen. Won't be going back.
It was o.k. Not somewhere I'd take out of town guests though. Food was nothing special.

We have been to the Betty before and the food was so good. Apparently they got a new chef who doesn't salt stuff at all felt like I was eating hospital good. I got the Cajun salmon salad. Way to much dressing and the salmon was so bland I felt as if I was eating card board. My husband got the broiled comb which included cod, shrimp and calamari in butter sauce. That meal was not worth $17! Once again bland no salt what so ever. I asked the waitress if they got a new chef because we have had these meals before and they were a lot better she replied with a yes. The manager was no where to be found and the service was very slow. The Jerry is going down hill! Sadly we won't be returning.
Originally this was a descent fish place. But since they've been under current ownership, things have really gone downhill. The wait was very long to get food and when we did it was cold. The clam chowder is not consistant anymore. You never know how its going to taste or how thick it will be. We've seen it range from soup to paste. Not happy with it all anymore and we don't really have another fish house to take it's place. So sad :(
Ordered food to go tonight...They said it would be 15 minutes..ended up being 40...They are TOTALLY under staffed....My order was missing the following...sour cream...ranch dressing...bread...the French fries were cold and TOTALLY under cooked...INEDIBLE....Been on hold for 15 minutes now waiting to talk to the manager...I'm done wasting my time and won't be wasting any more of my money at the Jetty...
