Opiniones de Bodega Santa Monica
Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica is a great laid-back spot to grab a glass of wine and relax with friends. The atmosphere feels cozy and lounge-like, making it perfect for a casual evening in Los Angeles. They have a nice selection of wine, beer, and small bites that are ideal for sharing. The place has a friendly vibe and it’s easy to spend a couple of hours just chatting and enjoying the evening. A great neighborhood wine bar to check out if you’re around Santa Monica.
Coffee shop by day/wine bar at night. Great happy hour spot for a small group of friends or to go on a date, especially on Wednesday’s when there’s $25 bottles of wine. Happy hour menu is pretty good and included flatbreads and pizzas (lasts until 7pm on weekdays). The pepperoni pizza is straightforward and good but I would get the goat cheese and Brussels sprouts pizza (not on HH) for the best pizza. I polished one off on my own (I was hungry) but you could split a pizza with another person plus an appetizer and walk away feeling pretty full. The service is really prompt and efficient with clearing out plates and making sure they come by enough. They leave water jugs at the table so you can refill it yourself and you can easily spend a couple hours just hanging out. The lighting is dim and moody and the couches are comfy. It does get loud so you do need to lean in to hear each other but that can work to your advantage :) they card at the door and there’s no parking lot, but there’s limited street parking. They do take credit cards. Overall a cute happy hour spot that’s good for wine lovers.
Insane, hidden gem in Santa Monica. Great vibe day and night with awesome food choices including LA's best pizza as claimed by many! Great couple and group place. Outdoor dining patio and open airy inside.
I had my birthday here… it’s our go to neighborhood get together spot. Great wine selection, food is YUMMM, and the vibes are just so great. This place absolutely nails it.
Amazing little coffee shop that turns into a wine bar. Had so much fun meeting up with some friends here on a Tuesday night and it was packed! Good selection of wine and nice service.
This place is amazing! Loved being there in the morning and at night, both times were great. The staff were friendly, smiley and happy to help. I definitely recommend this place!
We were at a closed event. The staff were efficient and courteous as well as helpful. The selection of drinks was ample and the food was good. Atmosphere was great. Would recommend.
Bodega Wine Bar has truly become my third place since moving here. Whether it’s daytime coffee or wine bar evenings, the staff consistently go out of their way to make it a welcoming, comfortable spot. Kelsey and Zack in particular stand out — they bring not just professionalism and great service, but a genuine warmth that makes every visit feel personal. Here’s a little secret: underneath the excellent customer service, they’re just genuinely kind and caring people. That says a lot about a place, and it’s why Bodega isn’t just another bar or café — it’s a community. On top of that, it’s hands down the best coworking space I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough.
This place is my jam!! My puppy 🐶 & I come for morning coffee ☕️& the chillest vibes — almost daily!! The morning staff is super pleasant & amazing at making us feel “at home” — they all know my order & sometimes have my drink ready at the same time I pay! Super efficient & stellar quality staff! Customer service beyond words 🥹🥰 it’s a blessed feeling to walk in somewhere & feel so welcomed 😍 Not to mention, the amazing staff on the after 4PM shift too!! Delicious eats, quality ingredients, made to order with love you can see in the presentation and taste in the food!! The staff is friendly and provide provides amazing customer service that is not overbearing when you’re relaxing on their lounge couch chairs, having cocktails and eating with friends! 💯 this place is 10 out of 10!!
Bodega is my favorite place in Santa Monica so far!!! I’ve been here multiple times during the day, and every time it’s been a great experience. I usually get coffee along with some food, and everything I’ve tried has been really good. I’ve had a few of their pizzas, each one was delicious. Crusty and flavorful. I also really love the chicken wrap, probably it is the best I’ve tried so far. Last time I tried sandwich and it was also great. The portion sizes here are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for that area. The food always comes out pretty quickly and tastes fresh. The coffee and tea are also good. The interior is really nice. There are plenty of tables and different seating options. My favorite spot is the cozy sofas in the corner, it’s the perfect place to relax or to work. Overall, it’s a great place to meet up with friends, have a casual meal, or even get some work done. They also have outdoor tables, which are perfect for enjoying food on a nice day. The staff is amazing, always friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I haven’t been here in the evening yet, when the cafe transforms into a wine bar, but I’m really looking forward to checking that out. Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. It’s a great spot, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.
I got stranded in LA after my flight got cancelled so I headed here to find a place to work. I thought their matcha latte with lavender rosemary was decent given it is not a matcha bar. There is free wifi and is 15 min walk to the beach. There is plenty of seating and outlets to charge your laptop at the bar. The atmosphere is quite nice, too. I got a breakfast burrito and I liked how tightly they rolled the burrito, the food didn't fall out. I'd come back here to work if I lived here.
Returned after three years and was pleased to have the same excellent service and food as I experienced before. The thin crust pizza (I had the Chilly Bear) was delicious and the wine was a decent price too (tip: during happy hour it’s an even better price!). Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday evening in January with no wait to be seated inside (outside heated patio options also available). Music was fun and not too loud, so we could enjoy our conversation. Looking forward to coming back.
Bodega Wine Bar on Broadway in Santa Monica is the most busy Wednesday nights when they do their wino Wednesday special where most bottles are $25. If you’re getting a bottle, I recommend the Reckless Love Cabernet Sauv/Syrah, $25/bottle with their Wino Wednesday special (usually sold there for $47/bottle), bold & jammy & strong raspberry notes. For food, went for sweet & savory combos that were easy to share. The top 3 dishes from the night included: 1. Scapegoat Pizza on GF Crust (goat cheese, brussels sprouts, mozzarella, olive oil & lemon) 2. Bacon Wrapped Dates stuffed with manchego 3. Maple Roasted Brussels They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and for parking there is some on the street, but it can be a bit hard to find. The staff is very friendly, although our wait time was misquoted for our group by over 45 minutes. If you’re going with a big group, make a reservation or expect to wait for a long time.
We didn’t like the wine we chose originally and they accommodated us and let us taste other drinks. This drink we tried we really loved it. I forgot the name but we will definitely come back here soon! It’s a chill place you can sit on the patio and enjoy the view or study inside on one side or just lounge and then they have a bar on the other side. It’s a very versatile place to me! It wasn’t super busy and the waiter was very attentive.
The pizza was ok. The crust was great but the toppings were super salty. I also ordered the olives. I was expecting olives marinated in oil, but all I got was olives out of a jar with vinegar lol not what I was expecting but ok. They have an excellent mocktail menu. I thought this was going to be a chill laid-back place to enjoy a nice drink and a bite, but it was super loud and hard to have a conversation without yelling over the noise lol I requested a spot near the bar as it seemed more chill. The bacon wrapped dates were great btw.
A great go-to spot for drinks and some food and of course a great happy hour. The pizzas are delicious and always cooked to perfection and the drinks I'd had on multiple accounts are all lovely, I always sit outside because it's so nice.
We tried the place in a weekend night. We started with several sangrias and then we got couple of beers and wine bottles. As it was expected the wine bottle cost 5 times the real price. We also tried the flat bread different salads and pizzas. The place is spacious and cuisy, I would recommend the place
Loved it. We had a glass of wine each and both decided we wanted to come back for dinner. We found the ambiance to be ideal. The service was spot on and the wine selection was vast yet curated enough to help guide you to the best option. Indoor and outdoor seating. No reservation required
Cockroach infestation Great atmosphere but unfortunately this is the second time in a matter of weeks I have seen a giant cockroach crawl on the floor and walls. Both times I alerted staff who had a nonchalant attitude towards the issue. I come here regularly and am concerned about the lack of concern regarding a cockroach in a food establishment. I understand that the windows are open, but having worked in service for several years, i expected at least some of my drinks to be comped given this was the second time this occurred. Again, understand that for any restaurant/bar there is a risk of cockroaches at any time, but surprised that Bodega has an unapologetic attitude and expects customers to accept this.
My buddy and I like to go here once a week for coffee in the morning. We literally look forward to it every week. Somehow they change the coffee from a medium roast to a dark roast and while we typically order a 2nd cup we couldn’t even finish the 1st cappuccino because it was so bad.The place has great food and good service but if you’re going for the coffee then maybe you need to find a different place
