I go to the local dairy Queen in Santee and is a very nice. The people are nice the ice cream is always good and I take my kids so often that they recognize them so it's pretty cool.

Came here a few days ago it had been a while since we came but glad we did Mia and savannah made me want to come back again! They were super freindly and helpful and were happy to help us! Nice to have such good service with such freindly employees! They deserve a raise and employees of the month, great job girls thank you for being so nice and freindly. Hot fudge and strawberry sundaes were delicious.

This review is for Kylie, she is the very first person working at this establishment that has acknowledged me and asked me who I'm picking up for without me having to waive them down. Most of the time, even the girls working today, look past me and not make eye contact and they don't greet the customers. But Kylie was the only one in all the times I have picked up from here, that looked at me after she was finished helping a customer, asked me if I was picking up for someone, and prepared it and got it to me. You need more employees like her! She's lovely and she does her job and she's the first person to actually treat me like a human being here. I hope I get her every single time!

This Dairy Queen is wonderful! All your favorite treats and excellent customer service. I recently bought my daughter's ice cream birthday cake from here and it was a delicious hit! Plus the girls wrote on the cake for me even though I was a last minute pick up and it was beautiful!

The staff here works very hard they are always moving, greeting people as they come in. They keep the line moving and make sure your treats are made correctly and are delicious quality. They keep the seating area clean and free of clutter. It seems everytine I go it's busy but not overcrowded and you can usually find a seat.

Really busy, but expected on a warm Sunday night. Wish the staff had a little more urgency (or another worker) but they did what they could do with the line in the store and order pick-ups. Food is always consistent, but presentation was a bit rushed.

Love the orange Julius drinks. They're my favorite for sure. The staff was pretty slow and there seemed to be a lot of people working but not much getting done. The nuggets were not good. I'll just stick with the 🍊 orange Julius drink.

Update: We finally tried this place again as my kid likes blizzards and it seems they have upped their service and cleanliness since last review. We used to go here regularly. Staff used to be friendly up until about a month ago with new girls at the front who were rude and snobby. My kid got sick after having something here recently on top of that. Will rather make the drive to go to Fosters which has consistent service and better food options than have that experience again.

The only food offered is a hotdog and they had already turned the machine off for the night (not that I'd eat a hotdog anyway) and they didn't offer toppings my sister wanted on a blizzard so we left without buying anything, unfortunately.

The cashier said there was not a promotion, then mentioned that maybe it was only on the app, when I stepped away to download the app to save some money, i was told it would not upload for 24 hours. The cashier was not overly friendly and corporate advertising is not clear about the app. There are not many Dairy Queen locations left in San Diego, and this location did not overly Wow me to need to comeback especially with so many Ice Cream options in the area.

Husband went in an hour before closing, they were already shutting everything down which is fine, but they copped an attitude and than gave us one blizzard that was a completely different one from what we ordered

My door dash order was accepted and said it was being prepared. Only for the dasher to get there and they are closed. Hours say they don’t close till 10:30 I placed my order at 9:48

I am so sad I spent all my money on a large blizzard for my grandmothers birthday and the mix ins are never mixed beyond the very top. I pay so much to get pure vanilla when I ordered cookie dough blizzard. Can someone teach employees how to blend please so grandma can have her treat.

Sundays were ok. Hotdogs below average. They didn't have chips for the combos. Chili for the dogs was not ready, wasn't told til after I payed. Sodas didn't have the right amount of carbonation. Took too long to put the order together after ordered. Location is poorly placed. Lots of trash out front in the courtyard. All together a pretty bad experience. I will go somewhere else.
