Great new restaurant serving authentic mexican food. Staff were stupendous. We felt at home here. The food was delicous. We had guacamole, tamales and barbacoa. It was so good, we had ate a couple bites before we took the picture.

Amazing food and great service. I got the chicken fajitas. Chicken was so favorable. I think the best I have ever tasted. My friend got the tostados and she was very happy. Plan to go again next time I am in the area! Highly recommend

This restaurant deserves 5 stars. The food is delicious, authentic, and homemade. You can't find that in this area. Being Latina from NJ, this is as close as finding excellent Mexican/American food with excellent and friendly service. Living here for almost 10 years, this location has always changed its business, but this diner has been here for a while, which shows that their food is that good! You won't be disappointed!

Just had an excellent breakfast/ lunch at this wonderful, no frills diner. My husband had the traditional tacos and I had the huevos rancheros. Both were hot, fresh and delicious. Lookimg forward to coming back!

SUCH a cute place! The tacos are unbelievably amazing and the service is warm not to mention- lovely! You can tell how much effort the restaurant puts into creating authentic cuisine and every single time we go there- we leave fully satisfied. Being fully satisfied these days is a rarity. Recently a lot of restaurants have produced low quality food with a high price tag. We've often left places so disappointed- but NOT HERE! I'll go back to this place as often as I am able to. Check it out! You won't regret it!

A no-frills Mexican/diner style restaurant. The Mexican food is very good and authentic, but they also have non-Mexican options, especially on the breakfast menu. We’ve been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all have been very good. we eat their frequently. People are very friendly and helpful if you don’t understand what any of the menu items are. Places usually not too crowded, and not noisy. There is outdoor seating available as well.

Was devastated when the Triangle was closed but found this gem just up the street. Its a cool mix of American and Mexican on the menu. We both had the Reuben and a cold beer. Food and service were terrific. Bring cash for a discount!

We stopped here on the way to Vermont and loved it! They gave giant menu from all day breakfast to sandwiches, dinner and Mexican food. We both ended up having Ruben sandwich which was delicious. And service was quick, waitress was friendly and beers were cold. What else you need on the way to your ski vacation?

My wife and I enjoyed Breakfast Burrito's this morning, fresh, flavorful and amply portioned. The takeout was still hot in the aluminum domed takeout dishes. Excellent.

The barbacoa tacos were delicious and super reasonably priced. 12 bucks for 3 tacos. I also ordered the chips and guac as a starter. Great tasting guac as well, I just wish the portion size was larger. The chips provided were barely a handful. The picture attached is a large size portion. Again really good, just wish you got more for your 11 bucks. Overall a really good meal. I’ll be back for sure.

Two weeks in a row we’ve visited Compadres for breakfast. Having lived in Houston for five years, I can tell you that NY Mexican is just trash. Not Compadres! Their food is authentic, fresh, flavorful and their American options are true to form as expected. Try the breakfast burrito - it’s large enough to share. Put the red sauce on it. A little spicy, a little Smokey. It’s GOOD! For something extra special get the Sopes! They’re naturally gluten free for whoever cares but for me, they’re delicious hand made open face corn dumplings with cheese, beans, quest fresco, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, and whatever meat you like (I got steak). Damn delicious! Worth a visit.

Great little diner. Special treat on father's day with a mariachi band! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Not modern but clean.

The food overall is outstanding! I love the chorizo omelet and the coffee is not the typical bitter found in most diners. The service is prompt and professional and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and some effort was put into painting, flooring, seating and colors/decor. The outside of the building, to include the structure, grounds and parking needs some love as curb appeal is tough. Anyone seeking a pleasant breakfast/lunch experience, with excellent food, friendly staff and competitive pricing --- give Compadres Diner a try!

Updating my previous review - really loved this spot for a long time but today I got the tostados, my usual, and it was cold. Like the meat and beans were cold!!! I ate one of three of them and just hoping to god I dont get sick.... Im going just let this one go but then I got to thinking, having lived in Tex Mex country for years in my youth - its puzzling that they dont have breakfast tacos!!! Quick service breakfast tacos would KILL in the area! Homemade tortillas tho def required!
