We've known Roberto, the owner of Grangesax Café, for several years, and I can say without hesitation that, as always, it was one of the most satisfying culinary experiences of recent times. We ordered several dishes, and as often happens, we all tried everything. The rich and varied menu is a journey through the authentic flavors of traditional cuisine, with a touch of innovation that makes each dish an explosion of flavor. The Maison's appetizer (polenta with Zola, potato glara, giardiniera, flan with bagna cauda, ​​etc.) immediately caught our attention: the freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The veal with tuna sauce, prepared to perfection, with a delicate and flavorful tuna cream, served as an excellent prelude to the rest of the dinner. The potato glara with speck is a rich and flavorful dish, with a perfect contrast between the softness of the potatoes and the bold flavor of the speck. Moving on to the main courses, the venison bites with polenta millefeuille were a triumph of flavors: tender and succulent meat, accompanied by polenta that enhanced its deliciousness. The sirloin steak and braised beef in Nebbiolo were truly extraordinary dishes, with meat that melted in the mouth and a rich, aromatic sauce that made you want to dip it in the bread. And to round things off, the desserts were a true masterpiece! The panna cotta was velvety and delicious, the apple and dried fruit strudel perfect for those who love the contrast between sweet and slightly tart, while the semifreddo rounded out the meal with incredible freshness. The service was impeccable, with the staff welcoming and attentive to every detail. The warm and refined atmosphere of the restaurant made the entire experience even more enjoyable. In short, Grangesax Cafè is a restaurant I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy refined, authentic dishes in an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. An experience we'll definitely repeat!

Excellent experience. The customer service is consistent and top-notch. Traditional dishes reimagined with a modern twist. I recommend starting with the wonderful house starter, which offers so many nuances to the palate. The Ghenefle is exceptional, and the desserts are delicious. The first thing you need to do is book! Keep in mind that the establishments in this delightful village are the only ones in all of Sestriere that are friendly, helpful, and open late. In Sestriere town center, everything closes at 9 pm, including restaurants and pizzerias. The Grange Sax Cafè restaurant is the only one (along with the pizzeria Da Gennaro, see review) that offers two sittings: the first at 7:30 pm and the second at 9-9:30 pm. The place is delightful, and if the weather permits, it's also lovely to dine outside while watching the spectacular sunset over the mountains! A team of young, professional, friendly, and smiling staff serve you, making your evening a pleasant one. The menu features local dishes of excellent quality and made with local ingredients. The agnolotti del plin with roast beef sauce were fabulous! We also had desserts that I really recommend!... Be careful about parking, there are very few spaces for cars due to the influx and be especially careful about motorcycles (there are no reserved parking spaces for motorcycles) because the road leading to the parking lot without a backdrop is full of potholes and if you get to the end you will have a bad maneuver.

A lovely surprise! We chose this restaurant by chance while strolling through Grangesises. The dining room is very beautiful and well-kept. The service was excellent, and all the waitresses were kind and attentive. The menu features local dishes, with 4-5 dishes per course, and an excellent wine list. We would have liked more jams/honey to accompany the charcuterie and cheese platter, but the waitress was very kind and brought us extra honey. We will definitely be back.

We just returned to the hotel. A truly excellent dinner, a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is located five minutes from Sestriere, where we're staying. Delicious, carefully prepared dishes, a traditional atmosphere, and truly friendly and cheerful staff (unusual in other restaurants around here). The Fassona steak is highly recommended, as is the Ghenefle, which is truly tasty. The wine list also features excellent wines. Highly recommended, the best place of the holiday.
