Took my son here for his 1st buffet experience and I have to say very good! The price was beyond reasonable... Our waitress was fabulous and she was so nice with my son... Will definitely be back

We have been going here for over 12yrs and United buffet never disappoints. The food is always very good and trays are never empty. They have cut somewhat due the rising costs of food. The service is GREAT. Anyone who complains about the service is either rude or not a regular. Like I said, we have been going for over a decade and we are 25% tippers so they know that and we receive excellent service. There really is no excuse to tip less than 20% if they do a good job, esp since the prices are very reasonable. The salad bar is Meh... but Chinese buffets aren't really great at salads.

We enjoyed our food and company very much, and then a health concern caused my sister to call an ambulance for herself, and when I told the manager to expect the arrival of an ambulance out front in a few minutes, she was concerned and was very helpful about it, and didn't mind us leaving one car behind overnight. I know that this is an unusual review, but that was our latest experience here. We do eat here regularly and keep coming back because we love it here.

This is one of the best restaurants of all time. The selection is vast, and most of the food is really good. Endless soft serve ice cream, with no fee for an exit cone. The staff are really friendly. The environment is awesome. Me and my girlfriend are obsessed with this place, and it is our go-to date night. An absolutely guaranteed way to have a good night. Please support this beautiful establishment. I for one will be getting its coordinates tattooed on my arm. They deserve every ounce of praise.

I’ve been to this buffet a few times for lunch and have yet to find something I don’t like. They have a huge selection of Chinese and American foods, plus salad bar, sushi, and a made-to-order hibachi station. Some of my favorites are the coconut chicken, lo mein, chicken wings, chicken on a stick, stuffed mushrooms, hibachi, roast pork, and roast chicken. For dessert, they have what is somehow the creamiest soft service ice cream at any buffet ever. The staff is always friendly and keeps the table cleared and drinks full.

Some items were very good, some items were average, some items not the greatest. Overall most things were pretty fresh it’s just some items simply had no flavor.

This was an absolutely stellar Chinese buffet in Schenectady. New York. Wonderful staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Food was hot. Fresh delicious! Had a wonderful variety and selection available. I would highly recommend the Sunday dinner buffet to anyone in town. It is also priced correctly for the area per person. You would be hard-pressed to find a better. All. You can eat meal in the Schenectady area. I tried their fried dumplings. They were fantastic. They had roast pork shoulder which was amazing. Their seafood selection was excellent, fresh and delicious. I would also highly recommend their sushi. It was well prepared and presented well to the consumer.

I absolutely love this place, it's a great place to get all sorts of varieties of Chinese food and American food. We usually go when it opens around 11:00 and you are greeted by the ladies at the desk and they take you to your seat and automatically ask you what you want to drink. Then you are free to go check out their Buffet. They have a salad making station that has a large variety of vegetables and fruit also there is different puddings and jell-o's. There is a soup station with a variety of soups including egg drop and wonton. They have about four more stations with varieties of Chinese food like rice and chicken and different vegetables and a sushi station and a seafood variety station, they also sell pizza and have hibachi. The last time I was there I wasn't too impressed unfortunately. When I go I always get the same items and I absolutely love their coconut chicken which sometimes the sign is wrong and it's actually shrimp. But this time when I got the chicken it tasted funny and the texture was really off. Also I got a couple pieces of the steak with the peppers in it and the steak was a funny color and the taste and the texture was not right like usual. I really like their sushi it's really fresh and usually you can watch the person make it. I've only done the Hibachi a few times but haven't gotten it in a while. I've never tried the pizza but the one thing that we always get every time we go is the ice cream. They have their own soft serve which is vanilla or chocolate or twist. It's one of the best soft serve ice creams I have ever had I would go just for the ice cream if they would let me. Service there has always been good and I've never had a problem. I always like to tip the ladies for taking our plates and keeping our sodas full. I've never had to wait for a table.

Typical buffet, huge selection, cheap price. But like many buffets, keeping food to temp is an issue. They need to make sure all steam tables are putting out steam at all times. and stir the offerings more often

Some of the waitresses are a little snotty, while others are great. They do tend to watch your table a lot to see how many times you go up to buffet. Usually 2 to 3 time going up they will bring the check. Food is very good and a pretty good variety. Lunch is my favorite time to go, although dinner is very good too. I would recommend, but some staff can be rude while others are excellent like any place you go.

It was quick seating, quick access to a large assortment of hot and cold food choices. It looked good and tasted great. Should have been here when I was 18 years old and was a bottomless pit. Still, I feel I got my money's worth. Not a fancy place and the bathroom needs more attention to cleanliness and repair. For service they ask you what you want to drink and then clear your empty plates as you go thru the meal choices and then bring you the check. Me and the boy shall return to try more options.

First timer for the lunch buffet. Went with three co-workers. All three gave it five stars and have been here multiple times prior. Solid four star place for me. I'm not a buffet type of guy, but thought it was worth a try. The chicken wings were pretty good for not being served at my local tavern with my favorite hot sauce. The white rice was nice and sticky and very, very good. The various chicken and beef I tried was also pretty good. Finished with the soft serve ice cream which was nice and dense and very cold. It was ok food but if you read the sign at the entrance it says if you leave more than 6oz of food on your plate it will be weighed and added to your bill, it's a BUFFET. The most annoying thing is they already add a tip on your bill, there tips not a way to uncharged your food, companies should pay them a decent wage to not rely on tips, but I didn't even get a chance to decide if the service was good enough to leave a tip they decided for me

I came here because the dragon buffet was closed today. Food was alright. Servers are difficult to talk with, which was not a big deal they are trying. And much respect to them as I only speak one language. My low rating comes because 4 ppl for dinner and bill is $95, and one of us paid with debit. Food is about what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. Service is rude, and actively try to rush you to leave if they see you getting up multiple times for food. On top of that, they insist on receiving a tip from you and will stand over you until you write a number down on your receipt. My girlfriend and I sat at a table in the back area without the rest of our party as the restaurant miscounted and failed to provide adequate seating as it was a reservation. They brought chairs and crammed us together with everyone. They did not provide adequate utensils for everyone. When the waitress was told such by my girlfriend, she began to argue with my girlfriend like the more utensils would be coming out of her check or something stating there was enough for everyone. My girlfriend brought the waitress to the tables to show her there wasn't enough for everyone. After 5 minutes, the waitress finally provided more utensils.

I’ve been to this place several times and never had an issue. I’ve seen other reviews mention being rushed out, but I’d never experienced that myself—until today. I understand it was busy, but we were still eating when the waitress dropped the check. That alone isn’t a problem; plenty of places do that with a simple “whenever you’re ready.” What bothered me was that she came back five separate times before we even finished our food, asking for the card and then for the signed slip. I’ve never had that happen here before, and it made the whole meal feel rushed and uncomfortable. I’ve always enjoyed this spot, but this experience was enough that I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

For the price you pay per person the quality of food is not the greatest. The service was terrible! Before we had a chance to tip the server came up to us asking if we left a tip. The manager laughed and thought it was funny. She began to tell me it was dip and I told her regardless if it was dip or not she should have not put her hands in my food I asked for a discount and at first she wasn’t going to give me anything but then said she would give me 10% off. I really think she should have gave me more because it ruined my appetite and I did not eat. She still charged me for eating smh First time going there and we immediately got mistreated would not recommend to anyone.

Horrible customer service, was lied to multiple times. Was told we can pick out own seats but then couldn't. Was told that we could view the bottles of alcohol but then snatched them away before we could even look. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. I am actually shocked at how I was treated. Ate here with my mother for lunch this afternoon and was going okay until, my mother took a sip of her water and it tasted like spoiled meat, rotting flesh it's was fowl so strong! even though she had lemon in her water it still overpowered it. Then when I paid for our meal we put 0$ on the receipt for a tip, we were going to tip with cash realized we didn't have any on us and the lady stopped us in our tracks and tried making us tip... We were going to the car to get cash anyway but still shouldn't make a scene for a tip...

I came here for dinner. I got what I would normally eat which was fried rice and chicken. They had fried zucchini so got 2 of those. The zucchini was very mushy and no flavor. The rice was very bland and nasty. The chicken tested like like batter. I asked how much the price was per person and the waiter codny tell me. A few minutes later she bought over this guy that looked 12 (manager) asked me what was the matter and new he would be no help. I told him and he then told me he would go test the food. As we were waiting fir the guy to come back the waiters were standing there talking about us. He came back about 5 minutes later and said "the food is fine" I can give you $7.00 off your bill. Which would make me pay $11.00 for my food (2 bites of rice) for $11.00 dollars. The meal was $18 with out tax. So I paid the same in the end. My bill was over $60 for 3 of us. Rude people working here. They don't care about there customers only money. 8/17/2025 round 5pm

I have been coming here since they opened 20+ years ago. I have never had an incident with the wait staff asking me for a tip but I had always given a generous tip to the staff. I was at the Buffett recently and saw a young family of 4 dining and then paying their bill. They had counted out the exact amount for the bill in small bills and correct change to the penny. The waitress took the cash payment and counted it at the table and then took the cash but put the plastic check tray back on the table. She returned and pick up the tray asking if they were leaving a tip. The dad advised he didn’t have any more money. The waitress asked again for a tip and the grandmother stepped in and said she would take care of it. The waitress waited at the table until she receive the tip. I was so appalled at the boldness of the waitress who was labeled on my receipt also as #6. I was going to step in and offer to pay their tip but didn’t want to embarrass them further. I believed that they were experiencing a treat eating out and didn’t have much more money to give if any. I believe a tip is an offering by the consumer not a demand from the server. I believe everyone eating out should tip their serving according to the service they received. But, there might be an occasional time someone doesn’t have tip money due to circumstances. I conclude that you should tip, but should not be badgered if you cannot.

STOLE my credit card information. Only place i used it in last 3 weeks. I was there friday jan 30th 2026 down near sushi take right near double doors on the right last booth. Female waitress.

I've been coming here with my family for years and we have always loved the food and atmosphere but the last 2 years we've had issues with the waitresses over tips, about a year ago we've had one that chased us to the front because we had to pay cash and literally yelled at us if we're giving a tip before we even paid! And I stopped going after that until today me and my husband decided to give it one more try but the same exact thing happened, we get to the front to pay and the waitress ran to the front over a tip and when the other lady was counting the change to give it back to us the waitress that ran to the front took our change from her hand and put it in her apron, I couldn't believe it! We always give a good tip, not just $3 which was the change, my husband was going into his pocket to get a bigger bill but when she did that, it became a different story, this will absolutely be our last time coming here!,

The people at the front desk are terrible my baby told them she was 2 and they are not asking the parents they are asking the kids their age. They are robbing people if u don't check your receipt charge me for my 2year old and was asking me the mother if I'm sure to them she looks older I WAS READY TO SHOW HER BIRTH PAPER TOO. When it comes to my kids I would spend but the policy said 2 and under regardless of when they are going to be 3. 2 years old is 2 no where is the US says it goes by months ridiculous and very rude. NEVEREVERAGAIN DON'T DESIRE NO STAR.

Charged my child the adult buffet price and refused to correct the total. Lied and said they were charging full price for everyone tonight. BS. I did not tip. They can make up for it that way. Never coming back. Giant hair across the middle of the seafood. This place will rob you.

Place is disgusting, not a place I would bring a roach. Food was like warm at best, no taste. The staff stare you down like they are prison guards to see how much and how iften you go to the food bar, NEVER AGAIN !!!!
