Opiniones de L'isola che non c'è Selvino
Family lunch, located above the restricted traffic zone, we had lunch outside, foiade with game ragù and for the second course polenta taragna with braised beef, everything very good, fries and grandma's lemon cake, then to finish, coffee, everything tasty, reasonable price and very nice girls, which never hurts, highly recommended.
A restaurant with delicious food at an unbelievably low price! Polenta with porcini not to be missed. Can be a bit crowded for lunch. Very kid-friendly.
Excellent service, very kind waiters and owners, and to top it off, not everyone here in Selvino accepts dogs, even small ones. They, however, are happy to let you dine with the whole family, including your four-legged friend (obviously without disturbing neighboring tables). 5 stars overall for the warm evening and the food, it's worth every penny. 😉
Very friendly manager. The place looks brand new, with a few details that need work. The food is very good. Business lunch Monday through Friday. À la carte lunch on weekends. The pizzeria is also open Friday through Sunday. A small play area keeps the kids busy. Parents can monitor their activities thanks to CCTV. The price is fair. The bathrooms are spotless.
The place has simple decor, and the dishes we tried were good. The owners are very kind. Next time we're in Selvino, we'll definitely be back.
We tried this place for lunch during the week. The set menu for €12, including a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee, is excellent and extremely affordable. The selection of dishes is extensive, and the portions are truly generous. Highly recommended.
We went to this restaurant a couple of times, even when the Alpine section was on, and we were really happy with both the food and the service. Despite the crowds, they managed to serve us promptly. They also took into account the fact that our girls would be eating at our restaurant, even though there was a common menu for everyone. After all, you can't make a 5-year-old eat a whole menu. I repeat, everything is good and traditional, and there's even a playroom for the kids! Thank you.
Nice option at Selvino
Nice place, and the food is quite good. Personally, I found the venison bites, which are prepared like braised beef, too "alcoholic" and inedible for me. I had them replaced with veal. The rest was good. The children's playroom with the ball pit is very convenient. There was no set menu, only à la carte options.
A good place if you're looking for quick service, it's a place where you can get both pizza and other dishes. Average prices. A single dish is available for €14 and a tourist menu is available for €25. A children's area is equipped so mom and dad can eat while the kids play. The restaurant also offers pizza delivery.
Overall, we ate well: polenta, porcini mushrooms, rabbit in white wine, salami, and fish sticks. If you can, make a reservation; otherwise, come a little earlier. Tourist menu and à la carte. Homemade flavors. Fast service. Decent wine list. The only thing I didn't like was the house red wine by the glass. Otherwise, it was okay. Nice inside, too. The pizzeria is also great. Prices are excellent compared to what we ate.
Even though we arrived at 2pm we were welcomed. We spent €36 We took the tourist menu with a very good cold cuts and cheese appetizer, very good foiade with ragù, polenta with lard, mushrooms and good melted cheese. Pizzoccheri was quite good, I thought it was better. The price is also fair for the quantity and quality The staff is kind and helpful I would recommend it.
A very charming location, where wood is the main feature. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas (the whole wheat dough is excellent) as well as several first and second courses, and the wine list is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive to the customer's needs, always ready to offer the right advice, and the service is very good. The dessert menu is varied, and the house tiramisu is excellent. The bill is really fair, you get what you pay. The video-monitored children's area is a welcome amenity. I would gladly return.
They don't serve pizza for lunch, a shame. Appetizers, cured meats and cheeses, €9 (very good) First courses, €10 Casoncelli, not very good (they seem like the ones from the supermarket) Pizzoccheri, okay, not bad Second courses Salamella with polenta. The polenta was good, but I expected more from the dish. The sausage was also raw inside. Service and courtesy were good, but unfortunately the dishes weren't of the highest quality (at least the ones we ordered).
