What an incredible place Selvino Sport is! It truly felt like we were having a meal on top of the world – the views are breathtaking, and the setting is something special. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully made, and the wine selection was just as impressive. It’s one of those places where everything – the atmosphere, the service, the views – comes together perfectly. A must-visit if you're in the area!

Located in a beautiful setting surrounded by greenery among the Bergamo mountains of Monte Purito with many attractions such as the adventure park, the chairlift, the roller skating rink, a sensory trail surrounded by greenery, a ski slope and a downhill slope with a ring both on the grass and on the snow, a beautiful welcoming environment with a breathtaking view. The owner Simone is a very friendly, kind and very attentive person with his customers, always recommending the best, a great connoisseur of wines and grappas of which he is very well stocked, the staff is no less and what can I say about the cuisine... rich, abundant and very tasty dishes not to mention the homemade and delicious desserts. Personally, I really enjoyed the casoncelli alla bergamasca, the shin with polenta, the cheesecake and an excellent barricaded grappa. The prices I find fair. In conclusion, an excellent refuge, I highly recommend it!!!

On a hike up Monte Purito, we stopped for a break at this wonderful refuge, surrounded by greenery and with friendly and helpful staff. A wide selection of local grappas is available. Local cured meats and cheeses are also available for purchase. Behind the refuge, don't miss the sensory trail, a short walk immersed in the wonders of nature. Here, you'll also find a small botanical garden filled with herbs used to make the characteristic Monte Purito liqueur, which you can sample right at the refuge. Absolutely worth a try!

A small, charming refuge on the summit of Mount Purito. You can dine both inside and on the terrace overlooking the mountainside, with a beautiful view of the village of Selvino below. The food is excellent, featuring top-quality local cuisine. The desserts are also delicious. The staff is kind and friendly. We reached the refuge on foot from the village, a 20-minute climb, but it can also be reached by chairlift. Reservations are required; given the popularity, it's best to contact the facility a few days in advance.

I went there on Saturday, July 15, 2023, for the first time. Beautiful place. I ate outside, and the view was spectacular. The food, for what I ate, was excellent, especially the casoncelli. There were 4 of us—two adults, a teenager, and a child. To start, we ordered a platter for two, even though we wanted to order it for three, but the waiter advised against it. It was plentiful and enough for the three "grown-ups." For starters, we had 2 tagliatelle with venison ragù and 1 casoncelli... These were also excellent and plentiful. For the main course, braised beef and polenta accompanied by porcini mushrooms. I may be repetitive, but for me, they were excellent. My other young son had the classic children's menu. Ultimately, we ate well, and the staff, unlike some negative reviews that portrayed them as unprofessional, was, first and foremost, PROFESSIONAL, and secondly, super friendly. I went back in the late afternoon because I needed to buy some of their homemade cheese and grappa. Even though it was my first time, I felt like a regular... They let me taste the grappa I later bought, and I'd tried the cheese during lunch. And then, as we chatted and joked, two waiters invited themselves to spend their vacation with us in Calabria... Would I recommend it? Definitely. Will we be back? Definitely. I forgot, even though we were full, we also missed two homemade desserts: a blueberry tart and an apricot cheesecake... no need to tell you what they were, since you already know the answer.

A restaurant that looks like a refuge, accessible to anyone with a half-hour walk or a €2.50 ride on a dilapidated chairlift for the less energetic. The food is simple, unpretentious, but truly delicious, featuring locally sourced Bergamo dishes. The alcoholic beverages on offer are interesting, with an IMPRESSIVE variety, especially in the homemade gin category, similar to those in Albuquerque. The service is like staying with a DOP Selvino family, and on sunny days the view rivals that of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. For the littlest but most adventurous, we recommend the adventure park where they can temporarily abandon themselves. All in all, a pleasant place to spend a pleasant afternoon.

Buongiorno Spettacolare località in cima al monte pruito il rifugio spettacolare, pranzato benissimo La cordialità l ha fatta da padrona, i camerieri operosi, instancabili, infaticabili, che davano…

Un bel posto in cui fuggire dal caldo della città, in meno di un’ora da Bergamo si può arrivare in questa rifugio usando la seggiovia o con una camminata. Buon servizio e una gran vista sulla valle ma la qualità del cibo che abbiamo provato non è un gran che… chiaro che in un “rifugio” non mi aspetto cibo gourmet ma anche la polenta o i salumi hanno una loro qualità e qui non sono stati il massimo.

Sono stata al rifugio 1111 per un pranzo in famiglia, posizione ottima con una bella visuale sulla vallata, servizio veloce e personale giovane, gentile e veloce; per quanto concerne il cibo, la qualità era ottima e le porzioni abbondanti, unica pecca che non mi consente di dare un punteggio pieno è stato un piatto di pasta in bianco ordinato da uno dei famigliari: scarso, suppure sullo scontrino poi era stato segnato come "pasta in bianco per adulto" e con un prezzo esoso per la porzione in sé. Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata positiva, ci ritornerò sicuramente.

There are two ways to reach the refuge: either by chairlift or on foot. On foot, it's a lovely 15-20 minute walk along a wide, panoramic path. At the top, there's an adventure park with safe courses for all ages. You'll also find farm animals: goats, donkeys, ducks, geese, chickens, rabbits... Rifugio 1111 is a welcoming place where you can stop to breathe in the fresh, clean air and enjoy traditional Bergamo breakfasts, aperitifs, snacks, or lunches.

Rifugio per famiglie anche con bambini piccoli.Facilmente raggiungibile con seggiovia o con camminata di 30 minuto su strada .Cucina normale ,porzioni ridotte. Personale simpatico . Non ci ritornerei !
