A small Gem in Rochester 🫶🏻 We called for a last minute reservation and we were lucky to have such incredible staff to attend to us. The food was absolutely outstanding, with flavors that were both consistent and incredibly satisfying. Every dish was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service—it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. Attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Highly recommended! You won’t regret it!

La Bola on Main is located at the Mercentile on Main at Rochester NY. My husband and I went over to LA Bola for lunch. Lunch is ordered at the counter and server will bring food items out to the inside court where there is plenty of seating. I ordered the smokey tomatoe soup and grilled cheese. Both were excellent choices. The smokey tomatoe soup was delicious with a hint of smokey flavoring. The grilled cheese sandwich was the best one ever! What may have been home made bread was buttery good and grilled to perfection. The cheese was stretchy gooey and it was so good I could have ate a second. Service was friendly efficient and not a long wait. Thank you La Bola for a scrumptious lunch. Comfort food at its best!

I'd rather not tell anyone about this place. Food, service, experience, atmosphere all exciting and well done. Creatively inspired Spanish/Mediterranean food options, great drinks, friendly staff. One of my favorites in Rochester. Thank you to the team at La Bola! Pictured is a lamb kebab special. Very good!

I stopped here on my lunch break to treat myself to a nice meal since I didn't know if I was going to have to work the whole Thursday for Thanksgiving. I ordered the La bola burger with kettle chips I also ordered a side order of seasonal ricotta toast and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I recommend this location if you are looking for a nice place with a unique taste the staff is very friendly and very accommodating the place is beautiful of course being inside the Sibley's building in the atmosphere is A1

Delicious food and quiet ambiance ! A fantastic addition to downtown. We got the Hummus & Beet Salad to start. Both were so good! For o ur main we tried the Paella and Grilled cheese special. Both were incredible. Cocktails are plenty and the wine list is spot on. We will be back to try more !

Love the panni sandwiches. Cocktails are well done. I ordered the small charcuterie plate and it was enough for two people. If you can make it to a brunch, the selection is amazing.

We had a wonderful experience - casual atmosphere, everything on the menu looked delish! Got the seasonal ricotta toast, the tiger shrimp dish and the tuna sandwich - also tried the Rochester Sour which was one tasty libation! Oh, and ask your server about "Zerts" - i liked the Olive oil cake better, but my better half liked the cornbread "tres leches" better.

Try this place for the first time for a friend's birthday. The food was excellent. Very casual dining or you order at the bar and they bring your food to you. It is in the 1st floor of the old Sibley building and there's other restaurants there too as well. It is actually structured like a high scale food court.

I went to La Bola for the first time last week and had one of the most delicious meals I've had in Rochester. If you like tapas, this is the place to go. We had the patatas bravas (obviously), and they were in credible. We also had the meatballs and pan con tomato, which we highly recommend. Jenna, our waitress, was so kind and informative. She recommended a green wine for me, which I didn't even know existed! This was a great dining experience, and highly recommend if you haven't been yet.

Absolutely amazing experience!! The food was excellent!! The pork belly, beef rib, and Brussel sprouts were life changing. My compliments to the chef, just perfection.

Well this is a gem of a restaurant in the city of Rochester!!!! I just left La Bola with my family celebrating my nieces graduation and I cannot praise this place enough. From our hostess Jenna being so kind and accommodating to the seating placement and the food was lick your fingers clean. I loved the beautifully decorated seating area and bar . It’s very inviting! We had the shrimp scampi, lamb kabobs, Focaccia and basmati rice. We ordered a second Focaccia cause it was damn good the first time. All cooked to perfection. Well seasoned and the perfect portion size per person. If I’m ever in Rochester again I’ll be back. Our thanks to the chef….. just delicious. Best, Linda D.

I went here for dinner while visiting for a conference and it was spectacular! Several members of my group had severe allergies and our server was so careful and accommodating — she knew exactly what on the menu would be safe and even double checked with the chef for us. I loved my food (paella) and the service so much the first night that I went back with a second group for takeout. We were under a time crunch to make a flight and asked for our order to be ready within 15 minutes and they were so accommodating with this as well!! I believe our server’s name was Jenna — she was truly amazing. Look no further for a wonderful dining experience!

Minimal but effective service and the food came out very quickly. We were extremely impressed with the taste of everything! Portion sizes were enough that I was very full.

Coworkers and I stopped by last week around lunch to have some drinks. The drinks were delicious. The only problem is they had a dog behind the counter as you can see in the picture. Happy they made our drinks before the dog came. Not a good idea.

She tried to get us to leave multiple times and when we insisted we were fine with a long wait she finally took our order and rolled her eyes and mocked us everytime she said something. Owner reached out and genuinely wanted to make it better and I believe we did just catch someone on a bad night. Look forward to trying again

The whole thing had a metallic taste—possibly from the sandwich press, which might need a cleaning. The tomato soup was very basic, offering little in terms of flavor or comfort. I also tried the Sangria #2, hoping it might redeem the meal, but it was equally underwhelming. Overall, I left disappointed and wouldn’t return.
