My family and I haven't strayed too far away from their classic whole chicken with sides but it's hard to when it's as delicious and juicy as they make it. And that green sauce?? It's crack sauce!!! You can put it on a boot and it would make the boot taste AMAZING!!!

Food was delicious. I had a 1/4 chicken, white rice and fries. The chicken was tender and juicy !!! Rice and Fries were soooo yummy. The price was even better, it was less than I have paid for in other places for food that did not taste as good. I will definitely be back !!!

The chicken is great! I eat here about once every week. Make sure you try it with the yellow sauce and the green sauce. Just to warn you, green sauce can be a bit spicy.

Food and prices are good. I liked all the TVs that they have and the fact that the AC is awesome. The waitress was welcoming and super accommodating. You wonder why I am not giving them 5 stars? Easy answer, the cook kept coming out of the kitchen sitting at an empty table, and going back to prepare more food without caring about food safety. It was a bad sign and they should know better.

This place has been around forever. Slowly the menu prices have risen to those of a restaurant a lot fancier than what this is. However the lunch specials are quite decent, but this last time it seems like the portions really shrunk. The chicken stew consisted of one chicken wing and the fried fish was a miniscule portion as well. I still can't get over that lonely chicken wing.

The prices have really gone bonkers… I’ve been coming here since I was in high school, always loved the food. Lately, it’s still good, but something seems off… can’t exactly put my finger on it. Maybe it could be the price. Also, I wasn’t aware they did delivery, or had a website. I’m not sure how other people “discover” restaurants, but it used to be people would introduce you to their favorite place. It always appeared a closed network. From some recent reviews, it no longer appears to be the case. While I’m certain the business is appreciated, it does take away the exclusiveness. As the recent patrons seem like casuals. Generalists if you will, not specializing in this specific niche. While I still love the food, it’s pricing does make one think harshly about making the trip. It’s also been so long since I’ve tried anything other than my go to. But again, it kinda goes back to pricing. If desert is a significant fraction of what a meal costs, I think I’ll pass, thanks. Maybe I’m being too hard on them…perhaps I’m questioning the service, and other expenses, which go into the running of a restaurant. I mean…aren’t profit margins not great for restaurants…after the inventory, labor, and rent; location’s pretty good in this case. Hmm… One more thing, other niches don’t seem to be doing as good. Growing up in the county/state(Hudson/NJ) I’ve seen so many Peruvian restaurants come and go. Many come with warm memories of dining in with family and friends. In the past few years, it was pretty much between this place, and another. And the other used to be my preferred, but of course at this moment it seems to not be up to par, unfortunately. Staff would change about every quarter, and the owner; who was always there, didn’t seem to be there anymore. Word was he sold it, uncertain rumors? With it’s seemingly shoestring budget lately? Well, at least this one’s still breathing. But the choice of where to eat seems hindered. Where now, only this place seems to come up. While personally, I know more places, they’re far; occasionally regions. I doubt regulars would want to travel; especially regionally. I can only hope other relatively local places start being up to par again. I liked the options, but understand I guess. One can only wait and see how things go. Absolutely Ridiculous Experience I’ve never experienced something so petty at a restaurant. I asked to PAY EXTRA for more spice (spice green sauce)yes, will to pay the extra cause for more and was flat-out refused. Not because they were out. Not because it wasn’t allowed. Simply because they “don’t sell extra spice.” Let that sink in: a restaurant refusing money for something that costs them pennies. If you enjoy bland food, inflexible staff, and management that clearly doesn’t care about customer satisfaction, this is the place for you. There was zero effort to accommodate a simple request, zero explanation that made sense, and zero concern for the customer experience. Food should be customizable. Hospitality should involve common sense. This place has neither. I left frustrated, disappointed, and wondering how a restaurant can be in business while actively refusing to meet the most basic customer requests. Save your money and your appetite. Plenty of other places actually want your business.

This is not in anyway Peruvian food...I ask for a chicken soup....it has 5 little pieces of chicken breast, with a taste of lipton soup and the vegetables? Big hard pieces of celery...disgusting Update....my ranking drop to -10 stars
