Dairy Queen

Stopped by Dairy Queen in Simi Valley last night for a little dessert run with my daughter and treated ourselves to a delicious sundae. No banana split this time — just simple, classic ice cream done right. Everything tasted great, the place was clean, and the whole experience was relaxing and fun. Definitely coming back for another sweet treat soon. This place rocks — Local Love Approved.

Came to dairy queen and saw a long line the cashier Valerie was efficient and served me my ice cream with great customer service. Definitely my new go to ice scream spot in Simi valley !

When I think about restaurants or fast food, whenever you achieve the upper eschilon of having your name abbreviated or shortened, it's because people have cause to say it so many times that there is serious time savings. DQ is always great, no exception this time! Of course there is a wait, good things come to those that wait. Of course the food is hot when it should be or cold when it's dangling upside down in front of my face (still worries me even though I'm sure it never spills).

Absolutely amazing experience! I brought my kids in for a little after-school treat and we were all so impressed. Despite being busy, the staff handled everything smoothly. Aryan, who I believe is the owner, was incredibly helpful and efficient. He made sure our order was just right and even took a moment to engage with my kids, which they loved. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. The Blizzards were perfection. This Dairy Queen is a gem—definitely our go-to spot from now on!

I don’t usually leave reviews for chain restaurants, but the service at this Dairy Queen truly deserves a shoutout—specifically because of the owner, Aryan. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about their business, and Aryan is that kind of owner. I’ve been to this location multiple times now, and it’s always clean, well-staffed, and fast. One day I actually saw Aryan on site helping out behind the counter during a rush—super rare these days. He wasn’t just managing from the back; he was greeting customers, checking in with staff.

Creamy Frozen Lemonade was amazing, but the tap button did not work as intended when trying to review.

Tastes great, got the caramel craze. Problem is it's just hotdogs and a pretzel for food other than sweets, so it needs an expansion to fit the inventory.

I walked in, placed my order and sat per usual. Then 5 minutes go by, then 10 minutes, then 15 minutes, and finally 20. The lights began to flicker, the machine went out of wack. Still blizzardless I was confussled and disappointed. However, they did retake our orders and upgraded our sizes for no extra charge. They both tasted pretty good, when they flipped they didn’t fall however the peppermint bark wasn’t red as advertised and as seen in photo. (We thought they gave two Reese’s)

Pretty bummed out because it's a gift and they couldnt even do that ( I couldnt check because I'm overseas and the birthday boy picked up the cake himself) :( They were fast to have the cake ready 10/10

Although bummed I couldn't get what I wanted, I decided to try the rotisserie chicken bites meal. I ended up with a chili cheese dog, and it wasn't even hot. At least my Blizzard was delicious.

Bought a banana split today. It was almost $10. The ice cream amount was very small, the banana was overly ripe, and the sauces were not enough to cover the ice cream! On top of that, the cashier tried to keep some of my change back!! Buy your banana split somewhere else!!! It's nice that the owner wrote a long response. The brown banana was the best that you had on hand. Buy fresher fruit. Your portions are not proportionate to your price. Your cashier was NOT going to give me the correct change. I don't care if it was 3 pennies. It was my money. Are you admitting that your employee doesn't know how to count? Thank you for not accepting any responsibility. I will not be giving you my money in the future. Your long, narcissistic response was unprofessional.

Didn't like the Ice Cream Quality at all, ordered pecan and strawberry and got chocolate, chocolate was all over the ice cream and not mentioned anywhere, and I'm allergic their answer is that "that's our recipe".. Refused to give a solution. Will just never order their trash again. Don't need a response from the owner, because regardless if that's "your recipe" I'm sharing my opinion on the bad quality of the ice cream and the fact that you will put chocolate to everything including strawberry pie and pecan ice creams and not mention anywhere that chocolate is involved.
