Opiniones de El Kora Spring Valley
They have the best shrimp ceviche and it's does cost as much as other local places in Spring Valley. I always go here to grab some take out. Delicious 🤤
Haven't been to the restaurant part of Koras, but the night life is awesome. Live band all night, great drinks and amazing vibes. From corridos to cumbias. Music was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place if you love to dance.
This place has the most delicious Mexican food that you will ever have in San Diego this is a must try. I tried the California burrito and it is amazing, great flavor and portion size you will get your money's worth. The Birria Taco is super Delicious, I tried their hot sauce and it is well balanced, the flavor is there and it is not too spicy nice and mild. My new favorite restaurant
I dont know why this place only has a 3.6 over all rating but they deserve more. I rate 5/5 best quality birria tacos. California burrito was really enjoyed by my man. He says "so, delicious!" We coming here again next week😁🎉
The food was amazing, but they were short staff, and the waitress did her best since she was the only one, and the other lady didn't bother to even say hi or at least help out the waitress. The owner was there too and doesn't bother to even greet anyone as they come in. Customer service is poor, but the price of the food was well worth it. Since they do give you a lot of food. And the best part of the food is that it was fresh, you can definitely tell. But other than that, it was too dark inside for the daytime atmosphere. The only best part of this place is just the food. I've never been there during night hours. This was on Saturday, right around 2pm.
This is authentic tasty food. We ordered the barria tacos one afternoon when we just happened to in the area, and hunger called. We were very pleased and could not wait to go back. On our second visit, the barria was not as tasty as the first time but still very good and packed with meat, If you are a light eater, one is enough. The barria plate with rice and beans took me three sitting to finish. Bought a shrimp dish as well, spicy and plenty of veggies.

Took the time to read some of the other reviews. I was surprised at the negative ones except Chriatina Duran. The roach thing was scary. But I've seen this before in other places. It's hard to avoid sometimes. As for me, the food was good. Not a fan of rice in a burrito but then, that may be real Mex food is. Many a Mexican friend has told me that taco shops here in the US aren't real Mexican food. The surf and turf burrito was tasty. The rice balanced the food. Big burrito. 13.00. I would come back with no problem. This is better than most taco shops I have eaten at. Service was ok. Not pushy but not cheery either. Very efficient and polite. Again, I will eat here again. Nice selection of not taco shop items.

Excellent service, friendly staff. Great fish tacos, large pieces of fish with a nice light crispy breading. Intriguing decor. We were there for a family lunch. I felt it would be fun at night.
I've only been here once and it was for a Quince. I'm not sure the price but you can rent this place out for events. I'm told that this place is great on weekends. They offer fun drag queen shows. While we were here for Quince several general public left upset because it was closed to them
Went for some fish tacos for lunch. These are, without a doubt, the best fish tacos I've had anywhere. Monday-Thursday, $1.00 each. No limit. Rice and beans on request. You can watch the xhef make them and their freshnest is unquestionable. I've sent many friends and recieved many thanks.
The birria tacos were delicious. The drinks were way of a priced. They had a DJ that had really good music and then they had karaoke but it was so loud you couldn't talk to the person across from you. Every time we needed something from the waitress we had to wave her down to come to the table. She was very nice but service was not so good.

So so. Service. was fair. The margarita was really weak. The quesadilla was OK. I had to double check because the menu said with guacamole and sour cream. So I then got a small plate (too small). I haven't tried any seafood dishes which is their specialty. Loud Mexican music for those who enjoy that.

Got the seafood fajitas and it was a mess of not shelled seafood. Who wants to dig through sauced items to pull out shrimp with heads in tact, clams, and mussels in the shell and full of sand. It took forever to eat and it wasn't even good tasting. The only redemptive quality was my boyfriend's chipotle shrimp was delicious. Not worth a return trip though, mine was horrible. I would much rather get Mexican elsewhere. If you are in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and go to Bankhead Mississippi Style Cooking across the street. They are top notch.
Sat at the dive bar in the back...99c tacos were great for a buck BUT The bartender tried to over charge me for the tacos. Also has to ask for change back when I gave her 15 bucks. The bill was 10 something...cute waitresses, could use some English lessons as well. Would only go back if I had a party or dollar tacos. Would have been 4 stars if charged right and got change back. Also if the bartender spoke some English, that would have been nice too.
My guy and I were looking for a good place to go for happy hour prices. He had called ahead to ask if they had happy hour, the person who answered, spoke only Spanish. We're not fluent in Spanish. The phone was given to another employee who spoke some english. That employee said they had happy hour. So, we went there. The whole menu was in Spanish. The waitress would only communicate exclusively in Spanish. It was the first person who answered the phone when we called. The restaurant had very loud music, so we couldn't talk as we enjoyed our meal. The prices were high. No happy hour menu or prices. We just had a baby, and simply wanted to go out, without spending a crazy amount of money. They had a DJ there, who I didn't even notice until the end of our meal. He was over there on his phone, in a dark corner. It was creepy and sad. He just put on a playlist, and blasted it obnoxiously loud. I wouldn't recommend dining in at this restaurant. We are not going to dine there again.
The food had no flavor 😭 the portions were good & the customer service was very attentive. But the food simply had no flavor the aguachile and cocktail de camarón just tasted like pure lemon sour. I try to spice it up with hot sauce & salt and that still didn’t work just plain bland.

Just left there, we ordered our food and we’re enjoying when my husband found a ROACH and we spit out our food. I called the lady serving us and showed her. She said it was from the tortillas and that her restaurant was clean. When we got there the place was empty just us. We thought we’d give it a chance and boy was that a huge mistake. Next call is to the health department. I hope I don’t get sick, I have surgery next week 😡
Food was disgusting and over priced. Food did not have flavor. Ordered spicy shrimp there was not a hint of spice they even called it ranchero. Tortillas were so hard as if they were old the shrimp had a weird taste... overall horrible experience and way too over priced for the quality of food.
Went for the first time and I was excited to try and was quickly disappointed when the waitress was rude and acted annoyed we were even there. Then the food was probably the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Everything tasted sour and now I’m hoping I don’t get sick. I had 4 bites of my food before throwing it away. The place was really clean so I’m shocked the food was so horrible and service, too.
Man pulls out a rifle outside and tries to come in, NO SECURITY inside or outside at all.
