By far the best place on Staten Island for sushi ! Never a bad meal & the sushi is always fresh ! Cindy & her staff are amazing! They are also very attentive & go above & beyond to make sure your needs are met ! We really love sitting in the vip booths near the bar & love the menu ! Some of the staples we enjoy are crabmeat avocado , chef sashimi, yellowtail jalapeño, lobster bisque, tuna & salmon tartare ! The atmosphere & ambiance is palpable ! I highly recommend it

I’ve been there several times. This is my favorite sushi restaurant on Staten Island. Yesterday we celebrated Birthday there. We weren't disappointed. Great food, outstanding service, nice atmosphere and nice music. I recommend to try a special rolls:”Out of control” and “Sex on the Beach”.

Man this place is awesome! They have a groupon and it’s well worth it. It can be pricey but you want just their rolls they are like $6 each. Not bad at all. I ordered their $39 sashimi aquarium and holy cow!!! It was awesome! Worth every penny. Perfect place for a date night and the staff was amazing and very tentative. We also had the fried calamari and it was very fresh as if they cut the squid up there self there and fried it. SO GOOD!

Place is nice, service was great, atmosphere is dark. The octopus was chewee, the rest of the food was good, drinks were fine

Nice sushi place on the island. Definitely one of the best and very popular with locals. Parking is a pain, you will need to be creative there. Sushi are good and nice drinks menu. Reasonably priced. Everything we had on the roll menu was good. Awesome appetizers.

Good food, great service! The king crab with coconut macademia shrimp appetizer was amazing! The sashimi however was alright. But would love to come back to try other items on the menu!

Pretty good visit! The service was great and most of our dishes were delicious. We tried some new things and left satisfied. The Samurai special cocktail was particularly good. My ONLY complaint is that one of the specials, the burgundy mushroom truffle roll, did not taste like truffle at all. The mushrooms were good and the roll itself tasted fresh BUT the truffle taste was lacking. And the shavings on top of the sushi smelled like dirty dish rags and I had to remove them because the smell was so strong it was messing with my appetite and the whole meal. I’m a HUGE truffle fan so I tend to have it quite often and I’ve never had this happen before. Not sure what happened here but .. otherwise, the food was great. Will be coming back but likely won’t be having truffle here ever again.

Pricey but consistently good. I can always rely on Fushimi to offer a great sushi meal and service. The special rolls are a good size. I recommend the pink lady roll. Salmon, sweet Ebi shrimp and uni are my go-to picks.

I got “sex on the beach” sushi roll. It was really good for someone who doesn’t eat sushi often. However, the rock shrimp and imitation crab tasted absolutely horrible. The imitation crab was so bad it made me not really wanna go here anymore. It tasted like a slim Jim out in the sun all day. Great place to go but pricyyyy so don’t go if you are broke. I’m a little disappointed considering that I paid over 100+ $ for food that was decent. Dont really recommend coming here unless you just plan on getting regular sushi.

I visited Fushimi Restaurant on Valentine’s Day and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service was mediocre at best. It took about 45 minutes to an hour just to receive our appetizer. A couple who arrived after us and sat next to us received all of their food before we did, which was extremely frustrating. After sitting for nearly two hours without receiving our meals, we decided to leave. Our waiter barely checked on us, and we had to repeatedly get her attention whenever we needed something. Overall, the service was very poor and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special evening.
