Happy Fortune Chinese Restaurant

I picked up a small order on Wednesday 7-8-20 overall very good wonton soup tasty bbq ribs tasty and made well roast pork chow main / roast pork fried rice could have been browned/ fried and seasoned a little more but almost all of today’s kitchen (s) mistakenly don’t prepare fried rice and make it as well as they should / foolish mistake!! It’s half of the meal you are rating them on and they should realize it helps their repeat and return of customers. Back in the 60’s 70’s and 80’s Chinese kitchens were very taste quality consistent and conscious to fight for your loyalty and ward off their own competitors!! Greg R

This place has pretty good food however it’s so hard to get passed the NASTY animal they have answering the phones. She is so rude and doesn’t even say hello when she picks up then screams at u to start ordering… unreal and as a long time employee in the restaurant business, I believe this place would be top on the south shore if they got simply hired a half decent phone person. I guarantee she has done nothing but make this place go down hill fast. It’s 2023 customer service is everything get it together

There is nasty older women who works at the front and answers the phone. I am very tired of her attitude. If she doesn’t want to work then she shouldn’t work. Every time I come in or call for a delivery she always snaps, gets nasty or it a problem. I hate when I order bc I know I will be dealing with her. Like I’m doing her a favor and ordering food from the restaurant. Wish she would retire. Honestly will be taking my business to Woodrow and other restaurants. Not a pleasant atmosphere with her around.

I ordered crab racoon for my son, and have eaten them here before but this time they were made differently, looked like mash potatoes. They were terrible and my picky son had no dinner because of this. When I called the place the lady rushed me off the phone saying cream cheese is different. It definitely wasn't cream cheese and she didn't do anything to make it right. Horrible. Never order there again!

I honestly wish I could give this place a zero star. The food is hit or miss, it has super good days and terrible days but that’s not why I am writing a bad review. I called ahead of time and the phone call was definitely not a pleasant one, employee was super nasty over the phone. But as I sit here in happy fortune right at this moment the woman behind the counter is screaming at this older women with a cane, screaming on top of her lungs at this poor women that can barely speak up for herself. Telling her to go sit down and get out the way, screaming for her order just completely rude. I am completely shocked today.

The lady at the front was extremely rude to me and was cursing at me in Chinese because I didn't have enough cash and told her I will be back and get my debit card from my car. She also kept rushing me to decide what I wanted to order, let alone this was around 9:40 about and again I was told to order before 10:15.

After taekwondo class I took my children to get a quick bite at the Chinese restaurant. It was about 38° outside and 38° inside the restaurant. We placed our order I want to take our jackets off yeah it was absolutely frigid. I kindly asked the woman behind the counter if she could put the heat on and she said that they did not put the heat on for any reason. Well, I already paid for the food so now I know in my mind that my children are going to be complaining because it’s Absolutely freezing inside. One of the other customers there told me that she never puts the heat on in the summer they have no air-conditioning and they just open the door and I have a big fan. I can’t really say we enjoyed our food shivering yeah I would never go back again. For those who have been here probably couldn’t relate to my story. You have been given fair warning

Not good customer service. I ordered in-person and my order came out to $39.87. The counter guy would not give me the $40.00 promotion. Zero accommodation or courtesy for paying customers. Then, the order took a very long time. When I took it home, they left out the extra pint of white rice I paid for. This place is such a joke. First, the guy wouldn’t budge over $.013, then he leaves out a $4-5 item. Even if it was an accident, it just goes to show how they treat customers. I will not be returning. If I had checked the negative reviews, I wouldn’t have gone in the first place.

I have always ordered from this place for years. Recently in the past year or 2 they have gotten new management or just new employees and honestly they are extreme rude and disrespectful. I ordered white rice (for my kid) & received pork fried rice instead I called and politely requested for it to be corrected and she processed to tell me that no one told her it was white rice that they don't do that there (fix their mistakes) If i wanted what i ordered i would have to pay again even though the order was untouched. The mistake was not mine and she got loud and nasty although I respectfully requested for it to be corrected.

I order all the time from this place I work nearby and I am in a vehicle I always tell them that I need fork and spoon napkins etc I ordered tonight told them put 5$ tip for driver I had to call to see where my order was took very long then my order arrives I check bag no fork or spoon food wasn’t that hot to begin with so I call they had to send me a spoon and fork and napkins which took more time food is cold tried eating some garbage 30$ down the tubes I will never order again aggravated
