We hosted our Son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Spiaggetta Restaurant which was a fantastic venue and decision. From our first conversation, the owner - Marco Tarantino, made us feel welcome and calmed any anxiety we had over the event. The entire process was incredibly smooth which took stress off of the wedding weekend. The food was simply fantastic! From starters to salad to main courses the food was a huge hit with all guests! The NY Cheesecake made me feel as though I was in the city. Having attended many rehearsal dinners, I can honestly say that our experience at Spiaggetta was simply the best. The entire staff made us feel welcome and Marco just simply understands the nuances of running a perfect restaurant! Cheers to an unforgettable event! Grazie Marco!

My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner at Spiaggettas back in May and everything was perfect! The area was setup beautifully for us to accommodate about 30 people and the waitresses were fantastic and helpful. My guests raved about the food and it was an overall perfect evening. My family has been going to Spiaggetta’s on our family vacations and they hit it out of the park! Thank you so much.

We recently asked Marco to cater our annual family Christmas event for the second time. The food was even better than the previous year and service remained OUTSTANDING! Went for dinner and was not disappointed! The chicken parm was one of the best I’ve had in a while and our server was very attentive the entire night. Reserved on OpenTable for a Friday night and we were seated right when we walked in the door. Super smooth customer experience and amazing food. Will definitely be going back next time we’re in town

We had our rehearsal dinner here in October. Marco is very easy to work with and quick to respond with any questions. We did a semi private space for 30 people but the area still felt intimate and was divided from other guests dining in that night. Food was delicious and our server was excellent. Definitely recommend for either just dining in or a special event!

A bit on the pricy side but the extra money is absolutely worth it. They have the best chicken Parmesan I have ever eaten in my entire life. Service was also very good and the restaurant owner visited tables to check on customers.

Spiaggetta catered my wedding in Stone Harbor NJ. It was absolutely incredible. My guests raved about the food and how it didn’t taste like “typical wedding food”. We had the chicken Marsala, salmon with lentils and spinach, and the bolognese lasagna. I highly recommend them. They are outstanding in their customer service, their attention to detail and impeccable culinary abilities. Marco was wonderful to work with and helped me with my selections to stay within my wedding budget. Your guests will thank you for choosing Spiaggetta. You will not be disappointed!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Spiaggetta upstairs in their private room. Marco was amazing to work with. He was able to meet all our dietary needs and had great attention to details. We showed up the night before with our accessories and alcohol and the staff set EVERYTHING up for us, it was so beautiful. The service night of was too tier with such attention to each guests needs. Spiaggetta is simply the best place to dine at on a typical evening and for a special event!

Marco and the entire team at Spiaggetta are fantastic! They provided two exceptional meals for our wellness retreat group at the end of October in Stone Harbor. Marco personally worked with us to design two completely different menus for our wellness retreaters. On Friday evening, they delivered a delicious catered dinner to the studio and then we had our Saturday evening dinner upstairs at the restaurant. Marco and his team accommodated all of our needs. The dining room upstairs and the entire staff is warm and welcoming. There's nothing I would change about the experience and we all look forward to next year! Thank you Marco and Team! I have never been to this restaurant and had anything less than an A+ meal. The atmosphere and service are terrific. Bella is so wonderful and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you want authentic Italian food. Tripe and all the other authentic Roman foods are terrific. Thanks for always treating us like family!

This is our go to spot when my husband and I vacation here in the summer. This was our 3 year here and food is still out of this world. I always get the salmon which is mouth watering. Haven’t had a bad meal or experience here yet.we usually get Linda as our server. she is delightful and personable. I do recommend reservations because they fill up fast. It’s nice to see an owner so involved and passionate about there’re business. Only bummer is prices did seem to jump quite a bit since last summer but I guess that’s the norm these days. Still worth it .

We had my dad’s 60th birthday party in the upstairs area. The food was amazing. Marco and his team did great a job putting everything together. I would definitely recommend coming here to host a party.

we got food catered for my mom's 70th and it was absolutely delicious! Marco was kind enough to walk through the menu with me beforehand to figure out what would work best. Everything arrived on time and we were more than pleased with the service. thank you!

Absolute best decision to utilize Spiaggetta for my mother's 80th birthday party at the beach in SIC! They out did all my expectations. The service (Julian & Giovanna) were incredible - willing to go the extra mile and SO pleasant! The food - everyone was raving about the spread. And, the bartending service was wonderful. I can't wait to use them again for our next big summer bash. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're looking for catering.

I had my rehearsal dinner at Spiaggetta with 18 people. Marco was very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was! Our server was also so friendly and attentive. We have dined here before and love the food and experience every time. I can now say the same is true when having a larger gathering here as well.

A definite go to on our annual vacation to Stone Harbor. Everything is always amazing! This visit I tried the Pollo Coi Peperoni, definitely recommend! The servers are very attentive and the owner is very nice as well. You call tell he takes great pride in his business.

We hosted a family reunion here and it was so great! Marco was super responsive and told us all the information we needed. The space was set up as we requested and the wait staff was professional and friendly. Reccomend hosting an event here!

I recently hosted my rehearsal dinner at Spiaggetta and it was a lovely experience! The owner, Marco, was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything was perfectly set up for our special night. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure all our needs were met. As for the food—absolutely delicious! We had a private room upstairs, which added a perfect, intimate atmosphere to the evening. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to kick off our wedding celebrations! Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing! We look forward to eating here every beach trip. I never thought I’d say that chicken is one of the best meals of my life, but their chicken is soooo good! As is everything else.

My wife and I were in the restaurant industry most of our lives and Octavian (I hope I spelled that right) was arguably the best server that we’ve ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable on wine and food recommendations. We had a great start as soon as we sat down and felt great about trying this restaurant for the first time and then the food blew us away. We would come back and recommend this place to anyone. Ask for Octavian before your reservation!

First time here. Honestly this place makes you feel right at home. Bella H was waitress was amazing, owner walks around ensuring everyone’s experience is superior. I have to say it truly was. A must, bring your family. We will be back many times.

Decent Italian restaurant and you can generally get a reservation which is hard in SH, especially during the summer season. The food is decent but the menu seldom changes. The quantity has gone down while the pricing has gone up. I feel that's true of everything these days. For dinner for two, we spent well over $100 with no appetizers...and it's BYOB. Some of the staff are friendlier than the others, but generally fine. I find the atmosphere uncomfortable, not cozy.

Food was great! Papalina was delicious. Service was excellent as well, we were constantly checked on. My only critique is that the person dropping the food off should be the one offering grated cheese, pepper on your dinner. Our food was dropped and we were 25% of the way through when the server came around to offer so it was a little late for that. It is also pricey for what you get, but overall everything was great.

We had a very good experience at Spiagghetta. The food was delicious, and authentically Italian. We had solid service by Devin, who was busy but attentive. It was a family-friendly atmosphere and loud, but enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back for another meal.

Great outdoor dining spot during these challenging times. The waiter seemed a little forced with his delivery. Telling us Marco is the owner doesn’t really sell us on anything. No offense but Marco who? Is Marco here? Had Marco come out and said hello or thanked us for coming would have changed this review to a 4 or 5 star review. He also made it clear that Marco’s mother in law makes SOME of the pastas. If that is the case, why wouldn’t you have at least 1 of the specials feature her homemade pasta? Lastly, we thought it was very odd that the waiter emphasized the prices for each special. Most restaurants don’t dictate the prices for specials. It’s definitely a turnoff. I probably would have ordered the $38 special but the price made me pick something else. This simple tactic should help sell more higher priced dishes. Unfortunately the pasta we had was extremely over salted, borderline inedible. We should have sent it back. But the pork saltimbocca(pictured) was decent. Lastly the menu was only visible through using a QR code reader. I had to download an app to view it and noticed other diners were not thrilled about having to do this. I understand the reason behind doing this but not everyone is tech savvy.

We had a decent meal, but nothing special, especially considering the prices. Our server was very friendly but the manager/host over-sat the section with a huge table of 14, so the server understandably got bogged down. Our entrees took a long time and we’re lukewarm. We tried the burrata appetizer (my fave) but it didn’t come with enough tomatoes and balsamic so it was pretty bland, and over $20.

We have been to the restaurant approximately 10 times over the last decade , and we always look forward to spot on service, sizable portions and excellent food. We also know that the owner takes great pride in the overall dining experience. First, we were thankful that they moved our outside reservation to inside due to inclement weather. However, either things have changed or the chef was not in the kitchen the night we went. Appetizers were very tasty, and the eggplant and artichoke appetizers were excellent., The calamari was still good, but the size compared to the past was less. From there, it went downhill. The carbonara entrée had very little taste and appeared to have been prepared with cream. I believe they forgot to season it. The spaghetti and meatballs and the spaghetti pasta included in the chicken parm was grossly overcooked and mushy. While meatballs used to be gargantuan, they were much smaller and taste was ok. The ones on the ravioli special were especially hard on the inside. The Norcina and Rapini were both good, but the latter had too much garlic and was swimming in oil. Chicken Parmesan was solid. When food is served, they should know which person ordered which dish rather than announcing , “who had the chicken Parmesan, who had the Norcini, etc.” Finally, we understand that there is a 20% tip on a larger party ;however, it is a big faux pas to tip on the tax. Included tip should only be on food and beverage. While the total dollar amount was not a huge difference, management should know this! Overall, unfortunately, the meal felt expensive and although we like the owner, attention to what is going on in the kitchen maybe be helpful. I’m not certain that we will return.😔

Decent food, horrible service I ordered carbonara and the waiter slammed it down on my table all aggressive. Then I asked for a pen from another waiter twice and I never saw him after that or the pen.

Ordered 5 spaghetti dinners to go. Portion amounted to 4 fork fulls. That's $130 for 4 fork fulls per portion - no meatballs either. I have never felt so economically violated in my life!!! I gave the service rating a 3 because they stole my money with a smile.

HOW DID THIS MAKE THE NJ TOP 50 LIST???? not even close, HORRIBLE. Well to start, we were seated upstairs in the venue area which was very unappealing, when asked to move we were denied, claiming downstairs was saved for parties bigger than 2 however every time we went downstairs to the bathroom there were at least 8 tables open for 2 people. We brushed it off hoping the food would be worth it. WRONG. To begin, we had to pour our own wine and water. The waiter was very nice but he was the only one stuck up on the top level with us! (felt bad for him) As we looked at the menu multiple items online were not on the menu. I was told the gnocchi was just not on the menu but it was good so I proceeded to order it. BLAND BLAND BLAND. OH and to top it off it took 1.5 hours to receive our meals which we both took one bite and sent back. My boyfriend got the limoncello chicken which he compared to RUBBER. Even after saying we did not like our meal or experience we never got to speak to a manager, instead we were just given the check with everything for FULL PRICE. Rude. Shocked and disappointed. NOT what we expect when we plan to come to Stone Harbor for a nice meal for a date night. Does not live up to the Stone Harbor Expectations. MANY BETTER OPTIONS.

Sad that this is considered authentic Italian food. We ordered 6 different dishes and everyone thought the food was disappointing. Wouldn’t go back, wish I hadn’t gone.

This is by far the worst Carbonara I have ever had. Wrong size/shape pasta, too little sauce, too bland of sauce, portion size is nowhere near $33.95 price, prosciutto was rock hard, way overcooked. Service and atmosphere wasn't horrendous, but definitely not as nice as every other Italian restaurant I've been to. I was in a larger group and had the chance to try other people's dishes, no saving grace. Some of the other dishes are relatively better, but also way overpriced for the quality you receive. Please learn to cook better or lower the menu price across the board by $15. As an Italian myself, this place is shameful for food quality and authenticity.

This experience was overall disappointing. The restaurant is BYOB which is awesome, but thank god our wine had a twist off top. Right after asking if we had brought any wine to open, she walked away and didn’t come back for 15 minutes. The table was not fully set when we sat and we waited 10-15 minutes past our reservation to be sat. The server didn’t offer any soft drinks until our appetizers were on the table and the food took a long time to come. The server continuously disappeared- I mean she would walk away and she was literally no where to be found. We sat for about 15 minutes with dirty plates in front of us before we flagged down a busser. Our empty beer and wine glasses stayed on the table the entire night. When you’re bringing and serving your own alcohol as well as paying the prices on the menu you expect at least the bare minimum for service. I booked this reservation as our nice dinner out for a bachelorette trip, as the maid of honor I was definitely a bit embarrassed by the quality of the food and service.
