Giuseppe Chichi

A themed beer hall, Bavarian in its decor, attire, and food. The flavors are truly reminiscent of traditional German dishes. The table layout is particularly noteworthy, allowing guests plenty of space and air, a rare find in beer halls. Service isn't the fastest, but the wait is well worth it.

The place is nice and quite clean. The options are decent, with good grilled meats, especially the sausage ones, and succulent, crispy cutlets. The burger lacked a couple of things, like the fact that it was cooked poorly (too dry) and the lack of sauce, but overall it was decent. The only flaw I found with any of the dishes was the amount of fries, which made it quite difficult to finish an entire plate. There's a nice selection of beers, and the service is quite attentive and fast. Recommended.

We had dinner at this restaurant on a Friday evening, when it wasn't crowded at all. The food was average: I had a slice of beef, but it was a bit dry. The service could definitely be improved, as the staff were neither welcoming nor efficient. We kept calling out to them, and it seemed impossible to get their attention even for the most trivial requests. Not to mention the attitude of the girl at the cash register, who was completely disinterested and wouldn't even answer questions, merely nodding. It's a shame because the restaurant is very nice and well-suited to large groups, but the management of the dining room could improve.

Change managers if you want the hope of providing service one day—and I say service, not better service, because what I received was nothing more than self-service, and very expensive at that. Excellent food, well-drained beer. Dislike and disinterest reign in the air.

I should be able to give it 0 stars because that's my review for tonight. It's not the first time we've eaten in Nichelino, and we've always had a great time. This evening, as soon as we entered, we noticed that no one was there to greet us. After a while, the annoyed waitress arrived and showed us to our table. We ordered, and after 50 minutes, nothing was served at the table except for the drinks. Finally, a sandwich arrived, mine, gluten-free, dry, and with bacon that was burned rather than crispy. I had to ask for sauces because they hadn't even brought them to the table. After another 20 minutes, we asked how the other sandwich was going and were told that our order had been lost. Absurd, considering the place was practically empty. We got up, but my husband didn't eat. At the cashier, still looking annoyed, we were even asked if everything was okay... oh no... a sandwich didn't arrive... the response was "Sorry, I deducted your sandwich" well, it didn't arrive at the table, we certainly weren't paying for a sandwich that hadn't been eaten, they gave us a discount, but in reality I preferred my husband not to be left hungry at 10.45pm, since we were in the restaurant at 9.20pm.
