There are places you don't visit: you breathe them in. Tenuta Canova is one of them. As soon as you enter, you feel time slowing down here. Silence, breath, atmosphere. A rare, authentic balance. It's not your usual "well-kept" establishment: here there's soul, true taste, attention to detail without trying to impress. It's peace, it's respite, it's fresh air for the mind. The Halloween decor... spectacular. Not tacky, not forced: atmosphere. A subtle play of light, colors, and details that transport you into a suspended world—elegant, warm, almost fairytale-like. Catering? Quality and care, but above all, consistent with the location: no frills, no noise, just substance and pleasure. And the overnight stay is exactly what you expect when you're looking for true tranquility: a welcoming room, enveloping silence, complete rest. A place that lends itself to everything: a special dinner, a romantic getaway, a moment to recharge. I don't have to convince anyone: come and hear for yourself. Sometimes peace is a luxury. We had our wedding with them, and it was a perfect experience! They managed and oversaw everything down to the smallest detail. The venue is beautiful, our guests were absolutely blown away. The food is spectacular, an explosion of flavors with every bite. My favorite is still the guinea fowl steak! It was incredible!!! The atmosphere was magical from the start, even more so at the cake cutting! Put yourself in their hands and you won't have to worry about anything else. Highly recommended.
We got married yesterday (October 15, 2025) at Tenuta Canova in Cologno al Serio, and it was a simply magical and unforgettable experience. We couldn't have chosen a better location to celebrate the most important day of our lives. From the first visit, the estate won us over with its beauty and enchanting atmosphere, but the real difference was made by the people. A special and heartfelt thanks goes to all the staff for their professionalism, attention to detail, and constant care. Every request was greeted with a smile, every moment handled with impeccable precision. In particular, we would like to give an honorable mention to Alessandro. He is a delightful and humble person, a precious guide who accompanied us on this journey with dedication, guiding and masterfully directing us throughout the event, from start to finish. His discreet yet constant presence ensured that every phase of the wedding ran flawlessly and at the right pace, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worries. His professionalism, combined with a profound humanity, made the organization seamless and peaceful. The quality of the food and service was exceptional, receiving compliments from all our guests. Lunch with friends in a spectacular location: tasteful, refined, attention to detail, cleanliness! Quality and quantity of dishes, attentive service. We came from Zurich to get married at Tenuta Cascina Canova on July 26, 2025—and it was a fairytale! The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to every detail, dreamlike spaces, and a wonderful pool. Alessandro and the staff were simply fantastic: professional, attentive, and always smiling. They made us feel pampered from the first to the last moment. The rooms are also beautiful, especially the suite. The cuisine and pastry shop were top-notch: all the guests were thrilled. We wholeheartedly recommend the estate: a magical place to experience a truly unforgettable wedding. ⭐ Review of my mom's 50th birthday party ⭐ We celebrated my mom's 50th birthday with a wonderful poolside evening in a truly enchanting location. The atmosphere was enchanting: the central fountain and elegant outdoor furnishings created the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. The decor, curated by an external team, was simply marvelous: gold, pink, and white balloons, a refined backdrop for photos, and meticulous attention to detail. Even the music, also managed externally, accompanied the evening with taste and discretion. The food was excellent, well-presented and plentiful, and the service was precise and professional, just as I had requested and desired. The only small hiccup was with the initial table arrangements, but it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, some rain arrived between the first and second courses. But the staff, with great availability and speed, moved us inside, allowing us to finish dinner in peace without ruining the evening's atmosphere in any way. It was an unforgettable celebration, full of smiles, affection, and special moments. Our little dog was also part of the evening, adding an extra touch of sweetness. 🙏 A special thanks to Mrs. Nicoletta and her team, who with professionalism, taste, and so much attention made this evening truly perfect.
We celebrated our wedding here last week. What can I say? The location is enchanting; the gardens, pool, and courtyard were all clean and well-kept. Kudos to Alessandro, who assisted us and was very flexible with everything. Huge compliments to the staff: young, well-trained, and above all, always smiling. But my heartfelt thanks go to the fantastic Nicoletta, who managed the entire reception and the aperitif with fantastic professionalism and enthusiasm. Thank you, because we will always carry Canova in our hearts.
A fantastic day, and a result beyond our expectations. From the venue to the food, including the staff and organization. All our guests were impressed and delighted by the care, attention to detail, and precision with which everything was executed, from the aperitif to the cake cutting, all the way to the final dances. A special thanks goes to Alessandro, who made our every wish come true. Like in a movie, where we always take the presence of the leading actors for granted and forget that, without a capable and perfect director, the film cannot be made, so he, without making his presence felt, managed everything impeccably. Like a great director, he coordinated all the guests and the entire set design, from the entrances to the movements, to the mise en place, making the most beautiful day of our lives perfect; all this was supported by his wonderful staff, by Nicoletta, who always had a special eye for us, the newlyweds, and by all the wonderful (and tireless) people who devoted so much attention to our guests. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Simone, who meticulously oversaw the decorations and floral arrangements, making everything so perfect and harmonious that it left our guests speechless. We met people whose sweetness, kindness, and professionalism were beyond measure. From strangers and complete strangers, you entered our lives. We are honored to have known you; you always made us feel at ease, as if we were family. We are infinitely grateful for allowing us to experience our day in such a special way.
Wonderful place with a spectacular and enormous pool, beautiful rooms and spaces with an antique feel, excellent finishes, and excellent cleanliness. Breakfast features homemade cakes (the brioches are missing), truly delicious cured meats and cheeses. It's definitely a venue for ceremonies rather than stays. There are very few lounge chairs by the pool and no umbrellas (only a few huge ones in the reception area). More staff is needed for the grounds, which are huge and beautiful but a bit neglected (butts, cigarette packs, and bottles on the floor), and hundreds of chairs piled up in one corner without any protection, all dirty. These aren't criticisms, just suggestions to improve our guests' experience. Overall, a very positive experience.
I'll come back if I'm in the area, but they need to fix a couple of things with the facility, including troubleshooting: if the hot water isn't coming out in the bathroom, and this is reported not only by me but also by other rooms, not having someone to take care of the problem creates inconvenience and disappointment. And the most annoying thing is that the place is beautiful, in complete tranquility, with a room overlooking the internal park, also beautiful, and a very comfortable bed (I slept like a king). Not being able to shower and enjoy that relaxation ruined the magic. For breakfast, I recommend putting up cloches or some kind of cover for the buffet, and rearranging the tables; ours wasn't stable (I almost knocked everything over). I'll most likely come back, hoping that the next experience will be better, because in my opinion, the place deserves it.
We were there on Wednesday, June 25, for the aperitif... - Poorly managed parking - Poorly managed entrance, so there were lines in the scorching heat - Self-service areas were always empty, and as soon as something arrived, you either ran or within Three, and I repeat, three minutes, everything was gone - Table found dirty - Constant shortage of plates and cutlery at the areas - To get a drink... Arm yourself with a lot of patience and long lines, always in the heat, because yesterday it took us 45 minutes!! - Beautiful location, but everything was really, really poorly managed. - Unfortunately, I can't say anything else because, given that similar criticisms were already raised the previous evening, they should have, as stated, addressed the shortcomings and improved, which they absolutely didn't do. It's a real shame to have a location like this and not know how to manage it properly on an evening like yesterday. We won't be returning, and I can't recommend Wednesday Night. P.S. People might spend even more (€12 is really cheap), but it takes organization.
Terrible service. Thirty of us showed up on the opening day, where you'd expect a little organization, and instead we waited an hour for food and drinks. One of our tables only received a drink after one of the guys went to ask for money. We ordered food and ate dinner by the light of our phones. The food quality was average to poor. In short, I don't think I'll be back.
The setting is nice, little information from the staff, but one star goes to the console area. I was at the New Year's Eve party for 2026, they didn't understand the meaning of commercial music, never any from 2025, but clips, moreover poorly connected, of music from the 90s, 2000s. If you inform that that is the room for commercial music this year, why do you put 883 etc etc,!!!!!!!!!! Never again
Beautiful estate, but abandoned! There's no maintenance, staying there from August 14th to 18th without a refrigerator in the room. By the pool, there are only 4 loungers for sunbathing, despite the 14 double rooms they have. And let's not even mention the August bank holiday, when they opened their doors to everyone. Worse than a public swimming pool... What a disappointment...even though they said it wasn't. The staff is nonexistent, and for a facility of that size, there were only 3 people there. It's a shame, though, because the facility is worth it. Those who go once never return.
A few days ago, we came to this charming farmhouse with a pool, hoping to take a refreshing dip, but it turned out to be a dud. We called to check availability and the cost of the pool. They told us that the reservation is linked to lunch, so we decided to book. Once we arrived and were seated, we were told that to use the pool, you were required to order two courses each, and to make matters worse, dessert didn't count (and that's already a bad start). The table service from the staff was very poor and shoddy; we were "obliged" to order two courses each, and my second course (a sliced steak) never arrived. Every now and then, the waiters would stop by to ask if anything was missing, almost as if it were a joke, so much so that after two hours of waiting (and we weren't the only ones), I got up and went to the cashier to pay. And finally, as the icing on the cake, when we arrived at the pool there were only four deckchairs for at least forty people present.
I had an extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel due to the constant barking of dogs throughout the night. It turns out that there is a dog custody right next to the hotel, likely for owners to leave their dogs during the Easter holiday. The dogs were left to themselves in a confined area and barked non-stop throughout the night, making it impossible for me to get any sleep. I also couldn't help but feel sorry for the dogs, who were clearly unhappy and distressed. Despite my repeated complaints to the front desk, nothing was done to address the issue. This made my stay a complete nightmare and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values a peaceful and quiet environment.
