Opiniones de Oy Bar Studio City
OyBar is officially on my short list of favorite restaurants all time. The food is simply delicious. Creative flavors and solid execution each and every visit. The staff is helpful and friendly, the food delivered quickly, and Chef Jeff is a real mensch. Shout out to the bar program as well. Last night had an El Diablo gingery tequila heaven. Enjoy!
Absolutely delicious food and fabulous cocktails right In our neighborhood. We had the roasted potatoes, the pickle plate and the soft shell sandwich. Everything looked amazing. David was our bartender and he did a great job. We will definitely be back!
Dive bar on the outside, Michelin star on the inside. Fantastic food, friendly and attentive service; music is loud enough for privacy and to not feel stuffy but quiet enough that you don't have to shout
Fantastic food, delicious cocktails, great service! We went with a group and got almost everything on the menu to try. The pickles and the quesadilla were our favorite but everything was good. Really creative and inventive dishes, a very memorable meal.
Jimena and Andrea are always amazing , pleasant energy service always rapid and accurate. Cooks are phenomenal food always quality.
This place is awesome! The food and drinks were amazing and the customer service was unbelievable. From the moment we walked in everyone that worked there was extremely helpful and accommodating and had great attitudes. Which I feel is hard to find in the service industry lately. Everything we tried was delicious. Looking forward to going back soon.
Had a amazing time here . Bar low key .great date spot . The food was another level. Cocktails are so good and you gonna be out after a couple of drinks . They make those cocktails strong . Definitely try the Gin and Tawnic. In terms of the food everything is good try any of those dishes .
Absolutely spectacular food. The drinks are insanely good. The basic burger or the Fairfax are must order. The potato pancakes were dope.
Nice small bar to hang out with friends! Service is wonderful especially when u order your drinks. Alex the bartender is awesome! They also got some good eats. Would recommend this place : )
Our favorite restaurant in the area. A Michelin star worthy restaurant in a dive bar setting. Incredible cocktails, food and service. Reminds me of living back in NYC. Can’t miss this one. A true hidden gem.
My home away from home. Oy Bar is a great place to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones along the way. From the owners to the staff, everyone makes you feel right at home. Now for the food - which is incredible - never fails to disappoint! With regular change ups and seasonal favorites with a twist, Oy Bar keeps you coming back for more. Not to mention their classic staples like the OG Burger and crispy potatoes which always are a good idea. I’m so glad Oy Bar opened up in the neighborhood.
The best of the best. Stepped up as the government cut off Snap money.
A review with a movie reference. Once upon a time in Mexico with Johnny Depp. The scene with the puerco pibil. The balance must be restored... Lol Beyond amazing food. It's a very noisy place but the food makes up for it . Maybe some sound panels, some drapes will deaden the bouncy chatter. Other than that, I can't wait to come back!
Every time I eat here, I eat something new that is so delicious I think about it for at least 72 hours after. Yesterday it was the artichokes. Some of the very best bartenders in LA & my favorite place to have a wonderfully inventive meal without any pretension.
There was a bartender there named Arash about 8 or 9 months ago. He was very scary and I was scared every-time I saw him. He made me have a nightmare and then I lost all my hair. He made a mean drink and was always very kind. Just really scary.
The food was delicious and unique with great attention to detail. The Peruvian scallops are spicy and prepared just perfectly.
I can't speak to the food, because we had just eaten and were stopping by for drinks. The place was very busy, which is always a good sign. We were greeted by Rob, who found us a seat at the bar. There are cozy tables as well, if you are going for a date. The atmosphere is dark, black paint, pools of light, string lights around the bar. All the bartenders and staff are friendly, lovely and very supportive of each other. More like family than just coworkers and that translates to the whole feel of the place. The cocktails are genuinely well crafted. We stayed till closing and had a thoroughly good time.
As good as it gets…an unassuming street presence leads to a bar full of character and class. Bartenders who sling killer, unpretentious yet curated drinks, an eclectic menu with clear attention to detail, and an ambience that invites you to settle in. This spot is dialed in.
I guess the last time I was here was 3 years ago or so. And it was just a bar. Just a empty black hole. I was talking with a gentleman at Rocco's Tavern, and he was new to the area. I was telling him about some of the local watering holes. And it made me think of the Oyster House. After leaving Rocco's I had to go by and check it out and see what it has become. I was very impressed. I text my wife to let her know that, the Oyster House as we knew it, was serving food again. She came and joined me. Food was awesome, the place looked great and the staff was very accommodating. We will definitely be going back there.
This is the best food I have had in LA and I have put everything in my mouth. Perfect martini. Perfect burger.
OY Bar Studio City is one of those spots you could drive past a hundred times and never notice; and that’s honestly part of its charm. Outside there’s barely a sign, just a simple “Bar” with an arrow pointing down. If you blink, you’ll miss it. But once you step inside, it quickly becomes one of the coolest low-key hangs in Studio City. The burger is insane… easily one of the best in Los Angeles. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and simple in the best way. There’s also a spicy pasta dish that completely surprised me; bold flavor and not something you’d expect from a place that gives off dive-bar vibes. If you’re going with one other person, sit at the bar. That’s the move. The bartenders are genuinely friendly, their names are written up on the board, and the whole atmosphere feels personal instead of trendy or try-hard. Funny detail: they don’t actually sell oysters, even though the name might make you think they do. It’s relaxed, a little hidden, and serves legitimately great food. If you like cozy neighborhood bars with standout burgers and zero attitude, OY Bar is absolutely worth checking out.
By far one of the best experiences I’ve had. Dined at their super club Vey In The Back and blown away by the food. A pickled strawberry was how it started and the first was incredible. And the staff were so kind. Dined on my own and they sat me at the checks table. Had one-on-one conversations with the chefs and the staff went out of their way to make me feel like a Queen. Can’t wait to come back!
Hipster dive bar with fantastic food and drinks. Oy Bar has been on my list for quite sometime and so glad I finally got to check it out. Very unassuming from the outside and frankly most of the inside. It’s definitely a dive bar in most aspects but the menu and the vibe - we sat next to two actresses, one pretty well known. Highly recommend making a reservation because we came on a Wednesday and only got a table because we got there super early. The website says walk in only but they’re on Resy. They have a fantastic spirits selection and their specialty cocktails were super creative and fun. My favorite was the Lightworks which has Reposado and Dill pickle brine. It has the perfect amount of “pickle” to make it interesting but is otherwise very well balanced. Even if you’re not a big drinker, come for the food! Much like the cocktails, the food menu is eclectic, innovative, and delicious. One of our friends is a vegan and it was also very vegan friendly. Of the items we tried: Mushroom chili oil salad - 5/5 new item on the menu, umami bomb with slight hint of spice that anyone can handle, vegan Spicy noodz - 5/5 perfectly bouncy noodles with a rich, almost earthy tomato garlic sauce and chili oil, also not too spicy, vegan if you tell them to put the parmesan on the side, you can also add shrimp, we didn’t Chicken Donburi - 4.7/5 honestly don’t remember the dish well besides the fact that it was tasty Wagyu quesadillas - 4/5 great crust and dipping sauce There were plenty of other items on the menu that I’d come back to try. I think in general they rotate the drink and food items often so the menu is always fresh and new. Service was great, our host sat us down even though one or two of our party were still on their way. Our waiter was super chill and friendly and the chef came by at one point to talk to us.
They do take reservations here on Resy despite their website saying they are walk-in only. The scallops sharing plate was excellent. I also got the spicy noodz with shrimp - everything was great except there was no hint of spice at all in the dish. Ambiance was nice and very unassuming from the outside
Exceptional Food. Very Cool Ambience. Extensive menu with choices for everyone. Each dish had such amazing flavors with elevated ingredients befitting a real culinary experience curated by Chef Jeff. The relaxed atmosphere features a long bar and mood lighting; perfect for a romantic date night, or gathering of friends. Service was attentive and swift. We will be back. Oy! , so many more dishes to try! Favorites: crisp artichoke, smoked trout, scallop crudo, hot pepper honey chicken, Thai herb sea bass! Delish!
So warm and inviting. Amazing service. Delicious and honest food that you’ll definitely think about and want to come back for I come here time and time again. Love it!
A cool little place, interesting menu and honestly maybe the best service I have had in the area. Prices are reasonable, and the portions on the smaller side but shareable. Good vibes, was packed on a Friday but they did limit people so you could still move around and it did not feel like you are all fighting for air. Worth a stop in my opinion.
New management gave this spot an incredible upgrade! This is my fiancés favorite late-night spot for classy drinks but last weekend he took me here for dinner and I was blow away! Low-lighting speak-easy vibes were so fun! We enjoyed the crispy potatoes, Onigiri, and Spicy Noodz which were my favorite! The staff was incredibly friendly and fast. We will definitely be coming back :)
Beautiful bar and restaurant with very cozy atmosphere 👌
We love OyBar and every time we go we have an amazing time. We went to their NYE party and it was wonderful. Live band, delicious food, and everyone is so kind. Our group felt very well taken care of. Thank you OyBar for ringing in the New Year with us!
Don’t go here 😏 jk it’s pretty amazing. Nice twists on classic bar food like a pastrami quesadilla with jalapeños and cheese on the outside of the tortilla and Swiss and thousand island alll melty inside. The potatoes were crispy and came with a nice dipping sauce (I think like a curry ketchup). Can’t wait to come back for the burger and chicken kaarage.
The food here is a big step above most restaurants in the valley. The creativity and love put into each dish is what makes me come back. The staff is amazing and the vibe is fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re a foodie. If you have NPC taste, I’d skip it.
Incredible food and beer. Turned up on a Friday night, it was busy but got a seat at the bar right away. Was a nice spot getting the insight from the server behind the bar.

This place is a real gem. I almost don’t even want to tell you about it. Best burger in LA. Hands down. Great service, cozy vibe. Loved it!
Incredible Food! Wonderful service! The vibe was just perfect. And everything we ordered was an immediate favorite. I think I love it here. Is it too soon?
This place is delicious! Such a find in the valley. No reservations but if you show up at opening you’re guaranteed to get a seat. A lot of the dishes had an Asian feel a few with a kick of heat. The cocktails were wonderful. The bartenders attentive and friendly. You would think you’re entering into a dive bar but this place is anything but. 10/10 all around.
The burger, scallops, pork belly skewers, & spicy noodz were all fantastic. The skewers were easily my favorite, followed by the burger. The noodles had incredible flavor, but maybe needed a tiny dash of salt to balance out the richness. Great service on top of it all.
5-Stars Specializing in cocktails, wine and eclectic food; very limited beer choices. • Food: K had Joutine, but it was just ok. C had wyagu pastrami quesadilla and it was excellent . I had special OB/NB burger? and it was an excellent but eclectic burger. • Drinks: great Old Fashion. Sticky Icky was good. Cindy's melon cocktail with prosecco side car was just ok.

As Sherman Oaks, native, the Oyster House was an iconic restaurant and bar. It is now in another’s hands and called Oy Bar LA. I have to say it’s a nice upgrade in both spirits and food. Still comfortable but with a little edge. Better cocktails for sure, and the food is really nice. Pickle Bento 🍱 box, Chicken Karaage, a delicious Pastrami quesadilla but my crave-able fav is the friend potatoes. The one thing that made me crazy is the table touch lights which turn on and up or off when anything touches them, made me crazy as it’s on the dark side, and I am not your father!! Check it out, it’s worth your time.
HEADS UP: call ahead to confirm if the kitchen is open! They do NOT share this anywhere online, not even on their Instagram, just a sign on the outside door. Very disappointing!
The food was good but the servers kept coming like every 3 minutes to get me to order more. Jeez— if I’m gonna pay like 90 bucks let me enjoy please. I’d recommend the place to my parents but idk if they could handle such pressure.

The manager was incredibly rude. My friend didn’t had his ID with him, he asked if he could go pick it up, to what the manager replied with “you can go do whatever you want, you’re not coming in unless you have a physical ID. His tone was rude and condescending.
No ketchup you failed what nerve your burger needs ketchup not ok - 10 points
Hands down the most unprofessional dining experience I’ve ever had. We were seated, ordered, and were actually enjoying ourselves — until the staff told us we had to leave because the chef’s friend showed up and they wanted our table. Yeah, you read that right. Paying customers, forced out mid-meal so the chef could play favorites. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Doesn’t matter how decent the food is when the restaurant treats customers like disposable placeholders. If you want to gamble your night out on whether you’ll be valued or shoved aside for the chef’s buddies, then by all means, eat here. Otherwise, avoid this place like the plague.
