Just tried the new Überrito Fresh Mex in SL and I’m seriously impressed! The food is super fresh and made to order, which makes a huge difference. I built my own bowl and everything—from the grilled shrimp to the cilantro-lime rice—tasted amazing. NEVER FROZEN. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place had a clean, modern vibe. I also loved how many options they had, including vegan and gluten-free choices. It’s not your typical fast food—it feels like real, authentic Mexican food with a fresh twist. We can eat there every day and have something entirely new. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out!

I’m very happy that this location opened back up! They have healthy options and the location was very clean. The food was delicious and they have margaritas available. The staff have good customer service and Jo Jo did a great job preparing our food. They have many specials and the app offers savings. Highly recommended….

In this review, I discuss menu items, price, ambience and a little bit of service. I came in here on a whim because I was craving Chipotle. I saw that they were new and checked their menu. It looked like simple what’s expected in an American Mexican restaurant. Menu items (sauce discussion) I enjoyed the vast selection of vegetables and sauces they had compared to chipotle. I love hot peppers and they had a habanero sauce that actually had a little bit of a kick to it. I have never tasted anything spicy at Chipotle before so I was pleased. Ambience(ish) I also enjoyed that they have you metal bowls and utensils when you dine in. The person who took my order (Cameron) was also quite generous with the protein helping. Dining setting was also nice. It’s a new spot and the design is nice and bright. Price The price was also reasonable. A bowl (which was the only food item I ordered) was about $10/$11 which is standard these days. Extra For those who care, they have cauliflower rice (with carrot and peas) for an uncharged of a $1.99 I believe. Overall, I had a great experience here and will be back! P.S. If you can’t finish your food, you can get a plastic plate to go. Also, I love the bags, they come with a flat paper in the nylon so your food can sit well.

I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and satisfying the Halal Fajita Steak Bowl at Uberrito was! The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, with just the right amount of char for that authentic fajita taste. You can really tell they use high-quality halal meat,it’s juicy, well-marinated, and full of bold flavor. The bowl was loaded with fresh ingredients, sautéed peppers and onions, fluffy rice, and all the customizable toppings you’d expect. I added some guacamole and chipotle crema, and everything came together beautifully. It’s the kind of meal that hits the spot whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner. Owner Oniel was incredibly helpful and took the time to walk me through the menu in detail.

Also sauces have a "homemade" quality! Really great here... move over Chipotle you got some competition for sure! More people just need to know!!!!

She remembered my order and even recognized me, which made the experience feel so personal. Nia is friendly, polite, and incredibly accommodating. As a vegetarian who likes my food customized, she never hesitates to make adjustments and ensures everything is just right. Her personable approach and attention to detail truly set her apart. My family and I stopped in, because we like to try new places on Saturdays. It was our first time in and I have to say we will most definitely be back. The food was amazing. We ordered about 6 meals, all different proteins, and everything was fresh and delicious. On top of that the staff were wonderful. Megan took her time to be very through, and helped us with everything we needed, brought our food to us when it was done, checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience and really made us feel welcome. She is a rockstar. The restrooms were super clean as well and even provided mouthwash. Thank you so much to all of the staff here that really made our family day a special one, we will be back soon!

My burrito was stuffed perfectly — warm, seasoned just right, and full of bold, fresh taste. The vibe is clean, upbeat, and welcoming. We came as two families and we all had a very good time! There were multiple options of toppings, salsas, and dressings for vegetarians like us! Special thanks to Carlos Rodriguez for dressing it nicely and adding the cheese and other toppings with great passion. You made our day!

The food is so fresh and flavorful, the staff was so friendly and accommodating, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be coming back again. Highly recommend, this is WAY better than Chipotle in every way.

Staff is really nice and friendly. Atmosphere is excellent. Food was excellent. Great to have Halal options, you have to make sure you pick Halal during the order. Once they bring you the order the staff does confirm Halal meat was used, which I love. I was also pleased that staff reassured to me the ingredients such as (Beans, Rice, Tortilla, etc) do not contain animal products. Its hard to find a Mexican or Tex place that meets needs for vegetarian and Halal customers that actually taste good.

Fantastic spot with fresh food and great vegetarian options! We had a wonderful experience here. The food was super fresh, and there’s a lot more variety for vegetarians compared to places like Chipotle — such a refreshing change! Megan was especially helpful and kind, taking the time to understand our dietary needs and offering great suggestions. Really appreciated the personalized service. Definitely coming back!

Loved loved loved this new place, fresh ingredients, very good place for vegetarians. Staff was friendly and accommodating even though we were a big group. They serve in Stainless steel Bowls which was a plus for me as I dont prefer plastic. Their Potatoes are super yum, my kids loved it. Lots of Mexican soda options. Their restrooms were clean and first ever place where i saw complementary mouthwash in the restroom. We left the place feeling full and happy. 😃 😀

You've heard of a bicycle built for 2. Let me introduce you to a burrito built for 2. I don't really know what to rate this. It weighs more than my child on the day he was born. It is quite literally enormous. I usually order from other places so this was a surprise. Value - 6 stars. It's quite a lot of food. Taste- 2 stars. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty bland. Service - 5 stars. Even though I ordered ahead, the lady called out to me to greet me and ask if I needed anything else. Mexican authenticity - 0 stars. I'm not a Mexican so maybe I can't judge, but neither is this behemoth. I would appeal to them to categorize it differently. "Tasteless, oversized space food" is more accurate, and less insulting.

One thing that is great is the number of options you have for salsa's, sauces, veggies, and more. also, another reason why I enjoyed this spot is because of the portion size. I ordered the Fajita Steak Bowl with cilantro lime rice, black beans, and almost all the veggies with Spicy Avacado and Ragin Habenero sauces. overall, it's a great meal, and it's definitely a great spot.

One thing that is great is the number of options you have for salsa's, sauces, veggies, and more. also, another reason why I enjoyed this spot is because of the portion size. I ordered the Fajita Steak Bowl with cilantro lime rice, black beans, and almost all the veggies with Spicy Avacado and Ragin Habenero sauces. overall, it's a great meal, and it's definitely a great spot.

Ordered a veggie burrito and all I got was 98% rice. They make you order on the computer so you can’t tell them how much to put. Looks like they are trying to save money by putting in just rice.
