Staff was great even on Christmas eve.
We bring the Kindergartners here every year at the end of the semester. Brandon and his staff are so welcoming and serve each kiddo with a smile! They ensured that the icecream we needed was ready and not too frozen and not melted, but just right!! Thank y'all so much for making our end of Kindergarten so amazing!
They get the order right about 95% of the time, which is better than other Sonics I've been to. If you like iced coffee, get the French vanilla cold brew. It's so good for the price. You will never find a cheaper cold brew.
The food is always fresh and cooked to order. The only reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because they always place the burgers sideways in to go bags and by the time you get home the bottom of the burger is soggy.
First time at sweeny location. Stopped by to waste time till my friend got home. Used my app to order. Got the double for 1/2 off price. The boy who brought my burger out was on roller skates I thought he was gonna fall on his butt. I tipped him $1. He was super friendly for someone still in school. After I ate my burger - which was really good I ordered a Coke 1/2 price since I ordered from my sonic app.
I ordered a Chicken Dinner with a Large Sweet tea. My chicken tasted like it had been fried in old oil. As did my tater tot’s. The Sweet Tea wasn’t bad. I definitely have had better tasting Sonic but I can’t 1 Star a place without having multiple cases of terrible food. So for the friendly folks and the convenient location…
The weather was great. That's about it for this place. I called beforehand, letting them know what I was ordering. Got there the server was rude and the other one was glummy not happy and short with us. There was one server with black hair that was nice sweet and check on us but unfortunately not our server if your going out with your family, I suggest picking out a family owned local diner!
Not sure what it is with so many sonic's, but they just feel so bleak outside of them, this one is surrounded by trees and just feels shaded all day and grey. Got the chicken fried steak sandwich, it was really dry and tasted of flour, not really good at all. Tots were pretty overcooked on the flip side, and very greasy.
It's been about 6 or 7 months since I've been here and got a meal for myself. Let me tell you I am thoroughly disappointed. The first stall that I pulled into the screen was not working then I pulled into the next one and that screen was not working. So I pulled into the next one down from that and that the screen was not working either. So I went around to the other side and the first stall I pulled into the screen was not working. Right then and there I got a gut feeling that things were not going to go well. So, I pulled into the next stall down and thankfully the screen was working however the speakers were subpar and the young woman on the inside could not hear me. She had to come out and take my order and of course got it wrong. I ordered a number two cheeseburger combo and got a number one. I ordered Sonic size fries with that with no salt. Well I got the no salt part and it was Sonic size container however it was literally only half full. My drink was correct however thankfully. I did not notice these discrepancies until I had got home. Before I left I was taking a good look around the establishment and I noticed this place was severely run down. A quarter of the screens did not work in the stalls and the screens that did work a lot of them had the covers busted or broken and were sagging and allowing all kinds of weather to get in them. I made a suggestion that they should put cones to block off the stalls where the screens did not work, I'm quite sure that that is not going to happen however. Don't get me wrong the two people that I had interactions with were quite pleasant even if one of them didn't get my order right. I have never seen this place so shabby and run down since they built it. New owners? New management? I just don't know but what I do know is I probably won't be coming back here if it's going to be like this................ Update....... It has been a year now since I have been last to Sonic. Wife and I stopped in as we had the munchies and wanted something to eat. Pretty much the same story as above. This time a large portion of the lights did not work. It was pretty dark there in some spots. So, nothing has really changed there except that maybe it got worse.
Sad and crummy just go right across the street to bulldog cafe ; these people could care less about anything. Dear corporate ; please intervene it’s needed immensely and clean the place up the exterior clearly has mold and the concrete needs HEAT and ALOT of pressure washing.
Fries horrible and you don’t get much the burger was just ok
It is apparent , the employees don’t care about the product. I realize it’s fast food, but you would think if you order like a drink or blast or shake , they would include all the ingredient listed …. Not only did the brownie peppermint shake not have one piece of brownie…. They seem to mess up orders more than correct. Afraid to complain at time of service … don’t want my food tampered with. IYKYK It’s sad because I live here and love to get at least drinks here …. This is not the first time my order was not made correctly , it has been multiple .
Idk what happened today but their coffee literally tasted like dirty dish water and smelled even worse and I had to wait 10 minutes for it to be made
This Sonic has had an issue with their fried foods since they opened. Everything fried has a plastic taste. It's also really hit or miss once you press the red button.... You either get someone fairly quick, or totally get ignored. Tonight it was the latter. Sweeny deserves better.
Food was bad today!! Over salted reheated tat tots. Under cooked breakfast sandwich with was heated in the microwave. Unsweet "sweet tea" carhop refuse to bring me my recite after I paid with a card.
They need to clean out their ice machines!!! I always get a water and every time at the bottom of my cup there’s a sandy looking grit at the bottom! One time I drank all the water and let the ice melt and I saw dirt floating in it!! And just today I stopped by again and got a water It tasted kinda funny like there was an aftertaste. When I looked in the bottom of the cup the little bit of water that was in there was a murky off white and there was something green in the cup like a paint flake!! This place seriously needs to be reported they’re probably getting people sick
Ordered ahead early in the morning for pickup at 10:40am. Got there at 10:30am, they were busy. I pressed the button to let them know I was there, never got to speak to anyone. I called & was hung up on. I asked carhop about my order at 10:50am, she said it sat for along time. Never got a refund or my food by 11:00am so I left to hurry home to pack lunches... Needless to say I had 2 upset kiddos for their end of year picnic after promising them Sonic. We won’t be going back.
Wow just grab a blast for my daughter and I. And they just sprinkled a little of the turtle truffle on mine and maybe one oreo on top of my daughters. Rest was ice-cream. None mixed within. Very disappointing never again
The only good thing I have to say about this Sonic is if it wasn't for Miraculous ( the carhop on inline skates) and Zack being very kind and attentive I would never go back. On May 11th I ordered 2 drinks and a Blast on the app. Arrived around 8:10 p.m. and put in my stall # on the app. I sat in my car and waited and watched cars that came after me get there orders before me. After waiting for around 20 minutes or so I finally decided to push the red button to see where my order was. I got an insincere apology. It took the carhop another 10 minutes to finally bring my order. She handed me a coupon for buy a Cheeseburger and get one free, along with 2 free medium chip tokens. Do they honestly think by giving me 2 free drink chips and a coupon for a free Cheeseburger where I have to buy a Cheeseburger makes up for the fact that I sat there at least 30 minutes waiting for 2 drinks and one blast. When the Carhop finally came with my order she handed it to me and the Blast was melted and it was wrong. I told her they got it wrong, it was melted and they only put barely a teaspoon of the topping I ordered. I told her that I had ordered 2 toppings and she argued with me and told me that was not what I ordered. If it hadn't have been for the carhop on roller skates helping me out and telling her to go and fix my blast it would have never been fixed. I had to wait another 10 minutes for my Blast to come out and once again the carhop on skates happened to come by my car and saw I was still waiting and he brought it out. Thank you Miraculous and Zack for always being so kind and attentive.
This place is horrible. Obviously the management is not very concerned with how it is handled after dark. The reason I say this is because anytime that we have gotten food after the lunch rush it has been terrible. Either not what we have ordered, or completely inedible! We have complained several times to the management of this Sonic, and it seems to always remain the same. If I could give them a half of a star, or a zero I would! We will be taking our business to other restaurants in Sweeny!
First time leaving a negative review for anyone. After going to the park I wanted to treat my daughter with an order of tater tots.That was a mistake. They were cold and had the texture of a crouton and tasted like pure salt and old grease. I went back and asked that I get another order, but fresh. They simply refried the stale ones, and instead of cold salt croutons they now were greasy hot ones. Don't recommend.
