My 2 friends and I came here and had an awsome time. Always great food, friendly people, amazing wings. Nice atmosphere. Good selection of drinks, prices are reasonable. I have never had a problem here. It has always been a great experience !!

Jeff is a gem!! This bar is amazing and he’s welcomed me and my friends with open arms. Definitely one of the best places to visit in Syracuse and we came all the way from Houston!!

Neighborhood sports bar describes this place well. Good food at good prices decent beer and liquor selection. Reasonably clean and decent service. There isn't anything to complain about, its everything you would want a small local sports bar to be.

I categorize this place as a DIVE. With that in mind, it's a neighborhood house long ago converted to a bar/tavern. Food is always fresh and full of flavor. Prices are fair and staff is friendly. Food comes up hot and fast. The place may be well worn, but it's clean. We order lunch out all the time and they do have delivery. A serious gem.

They say they have the best wings in Syracuse, I'd say they were right. Great service, good, beer is ice cold. What more could you want ?!?!

The atmosphere and music are fantastic. They have multiple televisions to watch anything you Want to. Most the bartenders are great and the food is fantastic. Ignore what everyone else says, the best wings in Syracuse, by far! The only negative is the location, late at night because it is in a bad area. There are sometimes shady clientel that are cheap, miserable drunks that are confrontational. You also have to worry about your valuables in the car because of the neighboorhood gremlins.

Some of the best wings in central New York. Love going to this place on Sundays for the fun and excitement during NFL games. Good beers on tap as well.

The wings are always really good and crispy. Good bar with good people. The bouncer is really cool and I enjoy this place a lot. Definitely recommend.

Lori (sp?) the bartender/woman who answers the phone is very nice. They do a good job with covid safety regulations. Wish they were more eco friendly-less plastic and Styrofoam but more often than note very good customer service.

I’d have to say some of the best wings in Syracuse are at this bar. The pizza is also very good too. Bartenders seem very nice and do a wonderful job with orders.

Food is always on point. I've never had a bad meal here. Whoever is back there pumping out food is doing good. You can tell they care. Bartenders are friendly, this is a great spot to get wings and a few drinks during a big game.

Best wings around. The pizza is also one of our favorites in the area. The bartenders and staff are always friendly and helpful as is the owner. Great place to watch some NFL games or cuse games. I highly recommend you stop in for a game, grab a few beers and try their pizza and wings. (Honey hot and hot garlic are my favorites)

The food was great. We had wings and they have an incredible selection of flavors to choose from. They also give you a nice big serving of fries. There are plenty of TVs to watch no matter where you are sitting. I will go back again!

The Change of Pace is always a good time. The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff are great people. It can get pretty crowded during sporting events, bc it's the place to be. The food is always great. Best wings in the city for sure.

This was our first time here. Wings were outstanding and so was the pizza. We are from NEPA. And this is one of the beat wings we had. The staff was great and so was every one in the restaurant. Made u feel like family.

New to the area and decided to investigate the area and found this spot. The crowd is a little on the older side but cool atmosphere. Has tables to sit and eat if you want and has more space in the rear. The bartender was friendly, cool and no problem making drink he never made before

Best wings in Syracuse! I typically order out as they do get a weird and sometimes troublesome crowd. I think that is more just unfortunately due to the area they are in.

Excellent sports bar note that is is more bar than some other places but the food was good, drinks were cold, and prices were reasonable. Pretty lively place for a Tuesday evening, I will definitely be back.

This is an awesome gem and local bar. The chill vibe and delicious food and beers made for a nice lunch. The bar staff are especially friendly and quick with making (or pouring) your drink. Hope to return again someday on a future trip to Syracuse.

My family and I ate here last night while visiting Syracuse. The hot garlic wings were the best wings I've ever had, and I've had a lot! Still amazed by how perfectly crispy they were. Heather (who could have used some help last night!) was awesome! Definitely will be visiting Change of Pace on our next visit!!

As a traveler and from PA I always google a dive bar near me. This place showed up as one and thought I would take the venture. Upon arriving I was a little skeptical of the neighborhood and what this visit was going to be like. Once through the front door I was cool. Service was great. Great atmosphere. I’ve been living in the Syracuse area for 3yrs now and I’ve been looking for a restaurant that serves good wings. I’ve tried everything from wings over Syracuse to Popeyes and other establishments. This restaurant’s wings are beyond amazing!! Absolutely delicious and made very well! They also have many different sauce choices. I definitely will be patronizing this business more and I’m so glad I’ve finally found a restaurant here with really good wings. Also great customer services !

Thee BEST wings in town. Get the Hot Garlic. They're not too Spicy, not too mild. Just the right amount of spiciness. Call in your order and then go pick it up for faster service. Had a drink there also it was super good, the bartender was super cool. Will definitely be going back!

The wings here are arguably the best in Syracuse. It has taken me a few years to wonder why and it finally makes sense now. They know how to make a basic chicken wing fantastically well. They have a great selection of sauces to boot but it's the basics of the way a wing should be. Fried to crisp goodness and yet tender on the inside. What you'll love about this place is the lack of pretentiousness from foodies. This is a working man's sports bar. The food and simple pleasures of the common man done absolutely correct. And it's delicious because of it. Trust me. I hope you find this place well and make a local friend or two in this establishment. For the food is done right and the drinks are cold.

Amazing wings. Great crowd. Look forward to my next visit! Edit: went again and got some great gar-par wings. You better like garlic if you order them, as I was told, because they are quite flavourful. For best results, dip in blue cheese or mexican ranch while continuing soaking them in the sauce they were served with. Jeff is a fantastic bartender, and again, I look forward to my next visit. I can imagine watching hockey here will fun.

Definitely the best wings I've ever had!!! This was my go-to place for food in the Syracuse area. Everything I ate there was fantastic!!! The server/bartender Jenna was a wealth of information when it came to local restaurants and establishments to patronize. Jenna's professionalism and skill balancing the bar, restaurant, and conversions with all prove that Change of Pace is dedicated to serving their customers. On a side note, if you want homemade Mac and cheese or clam chowder, get there early they will run out!!! Change of Pace opens at 10AM on Fridays

Their wings are so good there, they are delicious! I love their Hot Honey wings they are my favorite flavor to get there. I would only go there for their wings because their pizza is awful but what did I expect for bar pizza. The service is always excellent there and the order is always out on time. This was a great find while in town for the night. THE BEST WINGS!! We got the garlic BBQ, garlic Parm. Also tired burger and clams. Everything was great! The bar was packed and Lucy still rocked as a server. I wish we were 3hrs closer. Go Bills!

The wings are fantastic, hot honey garlic. I almost licked the bottom of the platter they came on. The fries were perfect, hot and crispy. The bartender was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. Definitely going to come back again.

We had a last minute family event in the back room. The owner Bob was so helpful. I was unsure how much food I should order. Bob was honest and let me know that what I was ordering was too much food for our group size, he could have easily let me spend more money then needed. The food we got was very good and the price was affordable. Kitchen and bar staff were great as well!

Had a team meeting in Syracuse and with some Google searches this place came up as the best wings in the Cuse . I went with the hot honey garlic wings extra crispy extra wet and cajun waffle fries . The wings were meaty and perfectly cooked and really saucy & the waffle fries were great too . If your in Syracuse make a stop here you won't be disappointed

I live across town so, I don't frequent the area often, but this place is worth the travel. Always a good time. The bartender, I think Jeff, was super nice and attentive to the customers. One of the best bartenders I've had in a while. Went on a Sunday early afternoon. Had the wings and they did not disappoint. The extra hot are no joke. My lips and mouth felt like they were on fire. The hot garlic are some of my favorite wings I've ever had.

We had a good time. Food was good, so were the drinks. Staff was friendly and welcoming. However, orders seemed to take a long time to receive. Nonetheless, they're all delicious. My only complain is that it felt little too dark inside. Some lighting wouldn't hurt especially considering there were people with kids when we visited.

No private parking lot which can be a pain as the streets and businesses around fill up with cars fast on busy nights. The food is good for a bar, the wings are very popular item. Sometimes the crowd can get a lil nuts but I've always had a good time.

Best wings in town. Try them. You'll thank me later.

Wings are excellent. Pizza is bad and they forgot one topping. The bartenders are bytches. Likely won’t go back because of the service although the wings are one of the best .

I went here with my friend once...and we got kicked to the curve because they accused us of having fake I.d's. They said we looked like we were 14 because of how SHORT we were. I asked if they were joking and they of course said no and had the bouncer show us the way out. Never going here again, I've never been treated so rudely at any bar before. Only good thing I have to say is that their food is decent!

Fun casual food but nothing too spectacular...had wings & pizza & pizza waz def better than wings. I would def be willing to give another shot but to try diff items. Homey casual atmosphere with very nice staff (I am not a 'local guide' & only visited 1 time FYI)

Went there for birthday drinks. Good size place for large get togethers. Didn't order any food. Had to wait more than 10 minutes for a beer. Nice inside, good size tv's for sports fans.

So, wings are cooked well and good size but the sauces are not at all buffalo style. No franks for starters. I got Honey garlic and had to wipe them down, too much. Wasn’t bad just too much. All I could taste was honey.

I hate to do this, because I used to love this place but I am VERY CLEAR on wanting my wings extra crispy. I make sure I get there as the wings come out so that they don’t sog up in the bag, yet, the last 3-5 times I’ve ordered wings here this is what I’ve gotten. The wing quality has hit rock bottom. I have to cross them off my wing list at this point. I couldn’t eat my wings, what a waste. I have two stars for the hot garlic sauce bc that was good.

"Jack" the "bar manager" refused to serve me my wife and my best friend after we all presented our valid non expired identification, I even went as far as presenting my passport. He was extremely rude. If you are not an older white man do not expect kind and fair treatment.

I came in from out of town and wanted dinner while watching Sunday night football. I couldn't get a single employee to acknowledge me. They were too busy socializing with their friends and checking their social media accounts. I gave them 10 minutes of my time then took my business elsewhere.

Was recommended this place for good wings, but unfortunately the staff was too busy talking about the Big Bang theory than to even welcome or acknowledge new customers. Sat at the table for a good 15-20 minutes and while waiting we overheard from the gentleman behind us they messed up their simple order of wings. Don’t waste your time!

Ordered a mushroom pizza & garlic parmesan wings. Not sure how they got pepperoni from mushrooms. Even had mushrooms on the receipt. It's obvious to me that someone cant read. Was not happy when I got home & the pizza had the wrong topping. Had to pick off the pepperoni after I paid for a topping. Also spelled my name out when I called & that was also incorrect on the receipt. Didn't know that a "T" sounds like "K." The wings weren't too bad, but I will not be ordering food from there again. Incompetent staff all the way around. I think I'll stick to Pump Pizza for pizza & wings.

It's just not a very friendly place. The bartenders tend to ignore people they don't know personally, and spend more time hanging out with their friends and on their phones than doing their jobs. I only gave it a one star rating for two reasons. The owner, Rob, is a nice guy, and you can't give a zero.

Ordered parm garlic wings - there was about a half inch of oil in the bottom of the container that the wings were sitting in. Asked for extra crispy and got soggy wings in oil barely any parmesan. I wont be ordering again.

Not at all the "best wings in Syracuse." What was supposed to be a 25 min wait for my order turned into 40. My wings were way too saucy and my container was wide open when I got in my car. I got the Jamaican Jerk which you would think would be tasty, but they were not. The atmosphere was many old drunks and potentially unsafe to be in without a mask. Still on the hunt.

I had a nightmare experience at this bar. Upon arrival for a Christmas party, I ordered one drink and a water from the bartender. She asked me if I wanted to keep a tab open as I handed her my Visions bank card. My first mistake was saying “yes” and my second mistake was using my Visions bank cards instead of a credit card. After about 2 hours of dinner time, I went to close out my tab and suddenly my card is no where to be found. The manager, the bartender and the kitchen manager were all searching frantically for my bank card. The manager kept apologizing saying “this has never happened before”. The bartender never said a word as she went about her business waiting on other customers. It was disturbing to me that she personally never apologized for losing my card. After 40 minutes of waiting for them to find it, I finally gave up all hope. I called and froze my bank accounts and am left with the agony of wondering if someone was going to hack into my accounts and steal everything. It was the most pathetic and unprofessional service from a bartender with a bad attitude.

I walked in and was greeted by a very nice bar maid and she took my order which was to go. I tasted what was suppose to be garlic parm wings and they had not one pinch of seasoning on them and taste like nothing but meat. I'm not sure if they just fried them and sprinkled what looked like parsley on them but I didn't taste any garlic or parm trust me. I saw a sign saying they were "award winning wings" yeah right! Never again!

Not impressed at all with the wings! Definitely not the best in Syracuse, much much better options to go to! I was very clear & specific when placing the order with the bartender & asked for the wings extra extra crispy & hot. When the wings came out 10 minutes later I had to question the validity that they were cooked extra extra crispy & sure enough they were just like a rubbery chicken! I could peel the skin off & fling it like a rubber band! I couldn't even eat them they were so rubbery! Then to top it off, there was nothing signature or significant about the sauce, very blah & plain franks hot sauce cut with butter that was poured on the top. Told the bartender I couldn't eat these & the response was to give me two drink chips... why would I ever go back when they couldn't make my food to the way i asked for them to be cooked??? Very disappointed in this place. On a positive note, it was very clean, spacious & clean inside.
