Opiniones de Pastabilities Syracuse
We went for my daughter’s 19th birthday and had a party of 8! We made reservations and were seated right away! The entire experience was amazing! Our waitress was just amazing, she explained everything on the menu, and answered all the questions! She even asked if anyone had food allergies, which we did, and she highlighted everything on the menu that individual could have. Not just the waitress but all the staff was super attentive, and were constantly making sure our table was cleared after each item they brought and we ate. The pasta of course was delicious and we all left there stuffed and extremely happy!
An incredible dining experience, this is my second time visiting and it's one of my favorite pasta places around! Everything is made from scratch including all of the pastas and sauces. Even the bread is baked in their bakery. On top of great food, the family run establishment has wonderful service. It's not a surprise the place is often busy and has been around for years! We will definitely be back as it's one of our favorites. If you try that campanelle, make sure and add a side of pesto, as they suggested ;) it's a home run! You also can't go wrong with the spicy bolognese (bolo) with the fettuccine. Delicious!
Everything was fantastic! The espresso martinis were good but the forbidden fruit was total class!! The pizza burrata was delicious and the hot tom sauce was so good, we ordered extra and even put some on the burrata. The pastas were great too, especially the chicken riggies with meatballs. Definitely swinging by next time I’m in Syracuse.
I finally tried Pastabilities last night for the first time and I cannot believe I waited this long. We had a 5:30 Valentine’s reservation and got there around 5:25. They seated us immediately, which already felt like a win on such a busy night. They started us off with their bread and the famous hot tomato sauce, or “Hot Tom” as they call it, and it was unreal. Truly one of those appetizers you cannot stop eating. I ordered the angel hair pasta with the 50/50 sauce, half Hot Tom and half house pasta sauce, and my partner got a burger. The food took about 25 to 30 minutes to come out, but once it did, our waitress immediately acknowledged the wait and let us know that it is not typically that long. She even gave us a free dessert on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. We got the cannoli cheesecake to go and it was incredible. The pasta was immaculate. The flavors were bold but balanced, and the sauce combination was perfect. The service was genuinely top tier from start to finish. Even on Valentine’s Day, everything felt smooth and welcoming. Safe to say I will absolutely be back very soon. If you have not tried it yet, you need to.
My absolute favorite restaurant of all time. It always hits. The environment is great, the food is great, the servers are great. We’ve been coming for over 10 years. It’s our go to restaurant in Syracuse, and if we go somewhere else we’re typically just disappointed. The portions and prices are super reasonable. In fact, they’re one of the only places that still gives free bread- and the bread is actually delicious and they service it with their signature sauce which is also delicious. We’re just huge fans of this place! Pictured here is the ceasar salad, the walnut broccoli oil pasta substituted for gnocchi and added grilled chicken, and tiramisu with the caramel brownie for dessert.
AMAZING.... Will definitely be back. All the food was so good, waiter was very nice, continuously checked with us.... See you when we come back to Syracuse😊
My first time at this restaurant, the setting and atmosphere is soft and dim. OMG! The food was amazing, their hot tomato oil with that bread is to live for, I can eat that alll night that spice tho!! Umm mm! Anyways we were there celebrating my daughter's birthday with her friends we had a great evenin. The waitresses were very nice, and engaging. "Even the one that heard me ask for ranch," for that good salad. My hunny and I going back on our date night 🥰
Fantastic food, friendly and attentive staff, and beautiful lighting. I highly recomend a reservation for dinner here as we were seated immeadiatly, and others without reservations were on a long wait list. Parking was also VERY difficult here, so account that into time to arrive. Overall it was a fantastic experience with tons of pasta and sauce choices! Highly recomend.
This was our first visit and we'll definitely be going back !!! Food was wonderful, appetizer we had were meatballs .the taste was fresh and very tasty. Main course was solid. My wife had butternut squash lasagna and it was Terrific. Wonderful mixture of tastes. Highly recommend. Desserts we had were a gingerbread cake of sorts as well as Cannoli cheesecake. Omgosh amazing!!! Wait staff were very friendly, eager to provide great service. We went foe our wedding anniversary and our server made accommodations to have candles placed on our desserts. The owners daughter was working and even as busy as there were she made time to come over an answer a couple questions I had. Please do yourself a favor and stop in . Strongly suggest making reservations in plenty of time. I found i had to book mine out about a month ahead of time. This place is a Hot spot for sure. Koodos to Pastabilities Apologies for not snapping shots of the food. I'll do so at my next visit
I heard a lot about this place so I had to come check it out. I was told a 25 min wait upon arriving but I luckily I was seated within 5 minutes. I went for lunch which is a more fast, casual style. It’s a super easy ordering system - you just scan a QR code, order, and pay right on your phone. Service was great, and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, portions are a good size (plenty for leftovers). I got the daily lunch special which was an amazing value. Although I would probably skip the tossed salad and order another salad option. The spicy hot tomato oil appetizer is a must if you go! They also sell them in tubs to go, and across the street at their bakery.
This restaurant is a true gem. The pasta is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s easy to see why this place has been around so long. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves authentic, delicious food paired with genuine hospitality. Highly recommend!
I'm visiting from out of town my friend made a reservation here for us. It's clearly a popular place and I highly recommend getting a reservation. I got a seasonal special (Harissa Glazed Salmon) and the Forbidden Fruit cocktail. Put simply, everything tasted great and the bread served prior to the entree was a nice touch. Staff were prompt, friendly, and helped to troubleshoot a minor miscommunication at the end of our meal. Easy 5 stars from me!
Best pasta and bread in the 315! Every time I’ve been the food and service has been top notch. Today I had chicken riggies which were incredible! Nice and spicy with delicious pasta and plenty of chicken breast. It’s hard to get reservations so be prepared to wait, or join the wait list on line. It’s worth the wait👍
We waited quite a while to get in here, and it was definitely worth the wait! The meatball appetizer was great. I got the meatball smash burger, and it was delicious😊. The bread they start you off with was also very tasty. Overall, it's a great restaurant😁 Update: Had to go back again. This time, I got the wicked riggie pasta-cini for an appetizer. Then, for an entrée I got the duck bacon pizza. Absolutely phenomenal. Special mention to their delicious chicken alfredo, btw. Everything was great, and I expect to be back very soon☺️
Our server Holly was phenomenal! The pacing of the meal was amazing, and for a busy Saturday with a full section she was on top of everything! The quality of the food we got was amazing, the portions and the flavor was great! This was our first time, and when we return we will definitely look for Holly! Pictured below were the drinks and food we got!

Not my proudest moment choosing to combine gnocchi with carbonara sauce but I was tired of vodka sauces. So don't make my mistake, but the gnocchi were perfect clouds of goodness and the sauce was still perfect. The calamari was cooked perfectly, but maybe a tad too much salt. The hot tomato oil is addictive. Definitely worth the wait.
Pastabilities is a must-visit for pasta lovers! We tried their fresh tomato pasta, and it was absolutely delicious—the sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of tangy and sweet. The homemade pasta itself was perfectly cooked, with a tender yet firm texture that made every bite enjoyable. We also explored other menu items, like their garlic bread and seasonal salad, which were equally delightful. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. It’s a place where you can truly taste the quality in every dish.

Great service. The food was very good. I got the gnocchi with a great sauce & meatballs/sausage in the side. Meatballs & sausage were good - not excellent. Nice atmosphere.
The food here was delicious! I ordered the wicked chicken riggies. They had a nice little kick to them. We also had the gluten free penne with garlic & oil, broccoli, and locatelli cheese. We also got the bread and “hot tom”, or hot tomato sauce- which is $6 during lunch. Everything was delicious and the people were very nice. They don’t provide service, in that you go to the counter yourself to order and pay right on the spot. Of course, they do ask for tip despite not providing a normal table service. We left one, but don’t feel obligated, they have waitstaff to drop off your food, surely they can also take your order.
The appetizer we had was amazing so it seemed like it was going to be a great dinner. As soon as we had our main dish thats when it went down hill, there was something off about the taste of the pasta sauce, i ordered the breaded chicken as a side and that was terrible, no flavor and very dry. The spicy tomato sauce had no spice/flavor to it and then the shrimp was the ultimate disappointment. After eating only two, I had to go to the bathroom because something felt off and we ended dinner early. Before we made it back to the car i had to find a garbage can to throw up in! I am hoping it was a fluke but i never got food poisoning that quickly. It ruined our night.

Basically, this trip ended up being filled with awkward disappointments. It’s hard to feel good about the experience when you walk in and are immediately directed to use an app to place your order. It feels impersonal and transactional. The server barely engaged with us beyond pointing us toward the digital system, which made the whole experience feel cold and disconnected. On top of that, the one item we specifically came for — the duck bacon flatbread — wasn’t listed on the menu. The food itself was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. What makes a restaurant memorable isn’t just the food — it’s the hospitality. Here, that element felt stripped away. The dishes were simply dropped off with minimal interaction. It felt more like a system than an experience. For a place that many people consider a destination, the atmosphere and service didn’t match that reputation. Waiting to leave, you might as well go the the counter to get a to go box. You’ll wait for a while otherwise. The wicked meatball sub was the best part of what we ordered.
Me and my husband went out for dinner for our 2yr wedding anniversary and we were excited to try out the food. We authentic Italian food before and were hoping to have this experience again . This was our first time trying this place but unfortunately the food was not so great . This was definitely Americanized Italian food. The chicken parm was one of there specials but it was dry and provide you with 2 huge chicken breast and my husband had the garlic spaghetti noodles and he stated it was just to much garlic . Idk maybe it was just not for us .
Unfortunately, this restaurant lacks the elegance suitable for your dining, especially for an upscale small gathering. The practice of making guests wait unnecessarily for mediocre, overcooked past…
Food was mediocre and way overpriced. The broccoli soup was milly and tasted like it had been put through a blender. The chicken alfredo was $28 dollars and had no sauce. The braised beef was $ 33 …
I just feel like everytime I give pastabilities a chance I’m perpetually dissapointed. Now I know takeout is not to have high expectations but I was craving pasta & all I ordered was vodka sauce Riggies w blacked chicken & there’s barely any sauce & it looks like they just doused mad seasoning on already cooked chicken. $23 wasted🙄😭
