On my last visit to VIPS, we went during chiles en nogada season, and what a delight! The chiles were perfectly prepared, with a well-seasoned filling and a creamy nogada sauce that achieved the perfect balance between sweet and savory. Without a doubt, an excellent choice for enjoying this traditional dish. What really surprised us was the corn cake with eggnog. Soft, fluffy, and with just the right touch of eggnog that gave it a delicious flavor without being cloying. It was the perfect ending to a spectacular meal. However, the only thing that disappointed us was the service. It took them ages to come and serve us and bring the dishes. They seemed to be short-staffed, which made the experience a bit frustrating in that regard. While the food was excellent, we hope they improve the service so everything is perfect on our next visit.

Bonito restaurant, dependera del personal que le toque a uno si la atención es buena a excelente. Menú variado, raciones regulares, a mi gusto los precios son ligeramente elevados pero afortunadamente siempre cuentan con diversas promociones.

I went out to dinner with my family. To begin with, there were hardly any other customers, and the service was slow. I ordered a large plate of food, but it was bland and tasteless. I had to ask for pico de gallo to try and give it some flavor. I didn't even finish it because I didn't like it.

El platillo se veía mal, en cualquier lugar se vería mejor que aquí y nada que ver con la imagen de referencia, principalmente la milanesa de res. En pocas palabras fue decepcionante la comida.

Ambiente de trabajo. Aunque hay juegos infantiles, llega mucho trabajador, poca familia, le falta demasiado mantenimiento, mobiliario casi destruido. Servicio del personal de lo mejor, solo que algo tardado a la hora que llegue 3 pm, y me trajeron algo que no era lo que pedí, pero me lo cambiaron. Los baños son 3 tazas de baño, lo hicieron baño mixto mientras componen el de mujeres, y pusieron un cartón para que no se viera nada entre taza de baño y taza de baño. No había papel en 2 tazas.

The two courses I ordered arrived at the same time. 😡 You ask for help and call the staff, and they just come by and "call someone" but don't resolve the problem. 🙄 There's a great opportunity.

This establishment isn't a VIPS branch; it's a franchise, which you'll notice in the lack of staff. A single meal took over 30 minutes to be served despite the few other diners. For a franchise, the food is of average quality in terms of flavor, seasoning, portion size, and overall quality. If the server forgets to bring you something when your dish arrives (salt, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.), you'll have to wait until you see it again, as they never seem to pay attention to your table. The bill took 15 minutes to arrive. If you have the time and patience to wait for your food, this is definitely a suitable place. The facilities are clean and recently renovated. The staff is very friendly, although they seem overwhelmed with customers. The parking lot is spacious, with some shaded spaces.

Pésima experiencia. Empezamos con las instalaciones. Todo horrible, los baños son lo peor sin duda. Olor a pipi, mingitorio desbordado de pipi, sin papel, todo sucio, oscuro y viejo. El servicio tardó muchísimo, la mesera pésima en todo, en el servicio, el trato, la manera de recibir el pedido etcétera. La comida fue lo mejor, la cual está decente, pero podría ser mucho mejor. Pedí una milanesa a la bolognesa y estaba hecha con panko, lo cual me agradó. Al final la mesera quiso incluir la propina casi obligadamente y hasta este punto le experiencia había sido tan mala que solo quería irme y nunca regresar. Afuera tienen un cartel que dice está en remodelación, la cual es la mitad de del restaurante. No es justificación que todo el restaurante esté en pésimo estado y sucio y que el servicio sea aun peor.
