We've been customers of this particular Applebee's for about 8 years. They always give us excellent customer service! They never forget a thing, they always treat us like they're glad to see us, and the food keeps us coming back for more. Only once was our order incorrect, but the General Manager and Manager went all out to make it right. Our family loves Applebee's! ❤

I can’t believe I am giving Applebee’s a 5 stars because I had sworn them off as a chain, in whole years ago- having had more bad experiences than good. When my new husband suggested we go, I shuddered but since it was his choice and it was a new town for us- I thought let’s just see….think positive. We heard someone had called in sick as we waited for our table and I was even more skeptical. What a joyous surprise! Our service was great and many think one cannot overcook chicken strips or mess up a salad but I’m here to tell you that it is entirely possible to do both but we didn’t have to worry about that tonight- this Applebee’s did it right and brought back the reason that Applebee’s became so popular in the first place! My husband’s steak was really good and everything was above bar. Thanks so much and keep it up! I will return to this Applebee’s.

The service, food and drinks were fast & perfect as always. The best I’ve been to in 7 different states, this place is professional, well trained, the food was perfectly prepared & served. I honestly felt like I underpaid when I left.

Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp was really good and Spinach Artichoke Dip was also really. The portions were large infact we had to split the meal it meal between my wife and I. Our waitress was kind courteous and she was very tentative. We had a great evening at Applebee's. Highly recommended.

The (Female) bartender was so fun n nice, her personality made everyone talk n get to know the other solo diners at the bar n before you knew It you were no longer eating alone. Melinda is the BEST! I only come to Applebee's because of her. I worry how well this location will do without her.

We have been going to Applebee's in Temecula, ca for 11 years. We have had some of the best servers and managers. Melinda, Autumn and Francis have been the best servers. There is only one server in 11 years that ever made me not want to come back. And the fact that she did that in front of my special needs grandson really upset me. I have never in all my years ever been so mad at a server. If I was the manager I would have fired her on the spot! But because I love all the other people that have worked here and we are treated very well here I just do not come in when she is working.

The best Oriental Salad. I love the taste and the texture of the salad. it was authenti. It had lettuce and not cabbage. Would love it more with Cilantro on top but it was the best of most of the Oriental Salad in the US restaurants that I have eaten.

I must say this location is just the best. When I am with a lovely lady I may choose to indulge inside of this establishment. The service is always fast and seamless. My drinks are always full and my stomach always gets full. Now in terms of that togo service It is just amazing. $10 burger combo in 2025 is just amazing and whoever is there to hand me my combo is always greeting me with a smile. This is location was chosen due to its location near some shopping and errands that needed to be run. Now, to pre-empt this review by saying, we had a 1 star negative experience at an Applebee’s on previous reviews you can reference. This was our attempt to have Applebee’s redeem the urge to visit again. How did this location do? Well, really well… Greeted with a smile. Sat down fairly quickly. Service was quick and Mackenzie did a great job on getting our order in, keeping up on our wants and needs and did it all with a great smile. We noticed management walking around ensuring everyone and everything was good. The entrees were not bad at all. As ordered. There were only a few critiques we had in our review on the food. The steak was a tad on the tough side, being Med Rare. The broccoli was a bit salty. I had noticed that in previous reviews, they under-seasoned their broccoli, so maybe this was an effort to correct that, just in other direction a bit too far. The potatoes were a bit too “whipped” and not that classic mashed mouth feel you desire when eating mashed potatoes, giving it that processed feel and not home cooked. Other than that, spot on. Good flavor, served piping hot. Well covered and flavored boneless wings(nuggets). Clean restaurant. Could have used a bit more “ mood music and lighting “ to bring up the vibe to a dull roar… It was quiet and a bit somber feeling. Thanks to Mackenzie for bringing up the vibe and making the atmosphere a bit more inviting. Over all 4.8 !!

If you are visiting Temecula and craving for a savory meal for lunch or dinner, then Applebee's Grill and Bar has got you covered. They have a wide selection of amazing dishes that are all equally as delicious. The staff, although slow, got our orders right and gave us refills for our beverages. I highly recommend the Triple Chocolate Meltdown for dessert as it is a mouth-watering treat that will almost certainly satiate anyone. Hence, I believe that Applebee's continues to maintain their reputable title of "eating good in the neighborhood."

Applebee’s has a great selection of meals even for the pickiest of eaters. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. There is sports on the tv’s and tablets with games for the kids. I experienced a steak that was undercooked to my liking and the waitress and manager fixed the situation immediately and went above and beyond. Malinda was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location.

The food was excellent my fiance got the steak and I got a salad. Their chicken wings are always excellent. We saw our friends for their 7 year anniversary and they also love it here. The manager was really nice and the waitress Alexa did a great job waiting our table. I highly reccomend!

We went for Veterans Day. It was crowded but service was great. We asked for a straw by the woman who brought our drinks and was told we could not have one due a shortage. Our waitress was nice and brought us straws with no hesitation.

Always enjoy the food at this location. Good customer service. Although sometimes the meal can feel a bit rushed with food coming out to quick between appetizers and entrees. However, that's still much better than food that takes to long to come out at other places.

The food was a little too salty and my husband likes salt. Was kinda slow, and not much help, I felt bad for the employees there. But our server did her best.

Steak was horrible, filled with fat. Manager asked how it was since it wasn't touched much. I explained, she made a whole new plate to go and over seen the whole thing. Since I couldn't eat anymore that day, I took it for lunch the next day. It was the best steak I had in a long time.

Food was great waitress was also great, We had to wait for a least 45min to be seated and the place was practically empty, they kept saying That they are short handed , I completely understand that, it just seemed like a really time before we were able to order .

Had a Ceasar salad w shrimp, it was mediocre. The frozen margaritas were delish. The strawberry ones. Outside seating available, nice patio area. Service was great.

So we went in on a fairly busy Friday afternoon. Wasn't too busy but steady. It took a min to sit us. I think someone was training so they were explaining stuff. The manager training was extremely patient. I found that pretty cool. The food was good but not great but good. All in all it's Applebee's so it's no big suprize. BUT the server was awesome. I had a special request on my drink and she helped me out. (Non alcoholic). All the servers and the bar tender were fab!!! Give them a raise! For real!

Decided to eat here for my dad's birthday. It was pretty good. The food was delicious. Like home style cooking!

My food, bacon 🥓 whiskey, burger 🍔 with fries was excellent. Service is okay. Service provided by an experienced server. Restaurant ambiance is musty, dated, and dark. An environmental, service, and ambiance upgrade is sorely needed.

The food was not bad but not amazing either. There are good deals here if you're on a budget like 2 for 20 bucks; one appetizer to share and two entrees. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us plenty and refilled our drinks. We even forgot our doggy bag at our table and she ran out into the parking lot after us to give it to us. Service was fantastic, food was fairly good

My brother and I came here just to try their menu. Surprisingly, the food were certainly flavorful and makes us want to come back for more - we ordered baby back ribs and thai shrimp salad. We will surely come back here to try their diverse delicacies. However, the server was way too disturbingly attentive. He visit us way too often to check if we need something. Nevertheless, our experience and the food were quite good.

Happy hour is from 3 to 6pm & 9pm to close!! Came to enjoy a 5$ Adios and some good appetizers, check them out! 😀

1st time at an Applebees. This is not on the menu, but if you ask about the lunch special, its either a hamburger or crispy chicken sandwich with fries for $10. Berger was pretty good. My friend attempted to peel off the batter coating off her chicken sandwich. Guess it wasnt her cup of tea. She said it was too crunchy. The couple behind us had some amazing lunch item that smelled like garlic. Wish i knew what that was! Our waitress was totally amazing! She was very busy & very attentive.

We tried Applebee's to try their two for $30 special. Ordered their 8oz. steaks (Comes with 2 sides and an appetizer or salad) Salads were generous in size and tasty. Mashed potatoes were very good. The broccoli was a tad under cooked and would have benefited from some seasoning while cooking them. The steaks were a good size and had good flavor. We ordered them medium rare and medium. Sadly, they were on the chewy or tough side. The staff here are all very friendly and accommodating. The Manager Darrell also very helpful. He graciously reduced our bill to show his interest in our coming back. We have had good experiences here in the past and will be returning. Probably will not order steaks. Our rating is really 3.5 stars for this meal.

Especially love the garlic mashed potatoes and the garlic green beans. Ordered dinner from there last night. My husband was happy with his fish and chips, but 1/4 to 1/3 of my 6 oz sirloin was fat and gristle. I couldn’t “send it back” because I was home, of course. Won’t order that again!

Great service by Cassandra at the bar, me and my friends had a great time. But Jared, Jared is trash. I asked a simple question of "can I get both the blue Bahama mama and red Bahama mama mixed" his response "no, why would we do that , that sounds terrible" My response "because I've had it before and it was a great flavor" You cultureless swine.

You know what would be awesome? If you had a chair or two that people could sit on in the pickup entrance area while waiting for to-go orders. It’s pretty annoying having to either wait like a sardine in a tiny space filled with delivery drivers or having to go back to your car to wait. Because it’s never ready.

We were seated quickly, but that was the quickest part of the visit. The food came slightly warm and part of our order didn't come until we asked about it. Then it arrived lukewarm. It took a while after our server went to bring our bill. Then it took at least 10 minutes to bring my credit card back. Our main server was ok, but one server seemed to be having a bad day. Not personable at all.

Normally I would never give a bad review but unfortunately the steak I ordered was probably the worst steak I have ever gotten at any restaurant. I couldn't even chew it. However the rest of the meal was very good. The service was excellent and the cocktails were good.

It is the second time that I order the same salad that has strawberries, the first time I realized that they put too much onion and I removed it from my salad, so this time I ordered my salad without onion and when I got home and opened my bowl of salad I looked again too much onion.

Once we were finally seated the service and food were good. They appeared to be understaffed and bit behind the times as far as Covid19 restrictions.

The few times we dined here busy or not it is freezing cold and it takes forever to get your meal. The service is subpar just like its menu. Oh, wait I take that back. We did have a good experience at the bar eating chicken wings other than that there's better dining choices.

Service ok. Sat in bar area again. Bartender tending tables and her guests at the bar. Asked to sit in the dinning area and hostess said we had to wait 15 min. So we sat in the bar area tables. Wife's burger was the worst she ever had. Dry and bad taste. Ribblets bbq sauce was probably the worst tasting store bought you can buy. The meat was fine. Hasn't changed since 20 years so I expected that. Overall, I wont be going to this location again.

As we were being directed to a table when I asked/ can we sit at a booth by window. Stuart paused to look/ mind you not busy at all/ there was one window seat being used. Stuart sat us at both in middle of room not next to windows. Ok/ then took about 20 maybe 25 minutes later/ oh after at least 4 waitresses walking by/ it took that long before our waitress showed. Mind you our waitress walked by 2 previous times before. She got our order took another 25 minutes/ no biggy/ however after our meal we asked for the check/ she pulled out the lil iPad looking thing at table. I just don't get it/ no customer service/ no moving with a purpose. It just seems it feels like having emotional teenage foolishness. No good bye / or thank you/ or have a good day. How do you feel about this?

Wait time of 30 minutes was bad. We could have been seated either out on the patio and their dining room had open tables no reserved sign. No one offerred or asked. We inquired and they said it wasn't available and they were getting our table ready for 8. Whats up with that? Food was good. Had to get up and ask for extra napkins and you now have to ask for straws. You only get 1 napkin wrapped with your silverware. You shouldnt have to leave your table and ask for napkins or straws. How likely would I return only when invited or on occasion.

For as much as I paid for a small meal there. I could have spent half that on a all you can eat buffet. The portions are very small. I think we pay for there fancy computer menu with WiFi. This place is definitely for the rich. I wouldn't go back there if they paid me. Oh and Don't forget to tip on top of that high bill. Two people eat for about 60.00 bucks.

This is a dirty restaurant with inattentive, and indifferent, help. Specifically asked for the children's orders to go in first--they actually brought them out last. This was a strange, backward, and upside down experience--where nothing is quite as it should be -and everything is an ordeal by fire. 🤔 Based upon my personal experience across several occaisins, it is my personal opinion; that you should go to lunch or dinner elsewhere.

Looks dated, wasn't the best service, servers had a conversation about other tables 2 feet away from me. Salad was dry, unlimited wing took so long to receive, had to wait 15 min for the next order. Won't be back.

Kids chicken tenders were old and hard but kids ate it because they were hungry . And of course kids will not know if the food is freshly done. Soda served kinda flat . Here is the side of onion rings they gave us with our burger tonight. When I went back in and politely explained that there wasn't much there, and asked if they could add a bit more, I was informed that that's just the size (5 onion rings) of their side of onion rings (that they charge an extra $1.99 for). The to-go hostess did eventually, very begrudgingly, go and get three more modestly sized onion rings from the kitchen, and informed me AGAIN, that "Just for future reference, that is just the amount the side comes with. We go by count, not weight, and you only get 5. Have a good night!" and started talking to the customer behind me, so I left since apparently the issue was resolved to her satisfaction. I get being busy, but that's not an excuse to be rude to customers when they are unhappy with the tiny side you gave them, that they paid extra for.

Salty Sauce

During the pandemic, this was my go to place. They stayed open late and had great value for exceptional product. What happened? Seating was awkward. I was by myself so the hostess wanted to sit me at the bar which was ok but when the bartender finally arrived (after awhile) she seemed to be waiting for me to order a drink. No menu. Had to ask for one. *I got the 16oz rib eye. I ordered it medium. Not even sure what I got. It was half rare and half well. I'm guessing that they only used half the grill?? If that wasn't bad enough, about one third of the cut was gristle. Quality took a nose dive. I normally don't even mind a little crispy gristle but it was just too much. No silverware. Then no salt and pepper. Had to ask for both. Mashed potatoes was good and the green beans were good but this shouldn't even be a question. It's just the steak was so bad that the sides were the only thing that saved the meal. I also ordered a tall space dust beer. I'm thinking this bartender was new because she filled it wrong and left a giant head of foam on top. She was nice but yikes service and quality took a huge double twist 3 quarters flip into a belly flop. It hurt so bad I didn't even want to mention anything while I was there. Was almost embarrassingly bad. But, I guess if I'm only paying 25 to 30 bucks for a steak and a beer, I shouldn't be complaining. It's just that they were so good for the past year, I guess I got spoiled. I had to change my 5 star to 2. I can't sacrifice my integrity for what they used to be.

I have had rarely a issue service a little slow but I get it being understaffed . But today I watched a family of 6 get out in a small booth . 5 of them fit and one was put in a table across the walkway from them . There server at table 15 stated to the girl bussing the table that the guest wanted to move she said it rudely . And the bus girl stated oh that’s ridiculous . So now moving to fit your guest all together is a issue ?? 3 slammed in one side 2 in the other and 1 sitting alone at a table is how 2 of your employees think it’s ok to sit a family trying to eat together. It’s sad and rude that we heard it . They were not rude to your employees they just needed to be seated together that’s it . Shame on the employees . Ruined my dinner listening to them .

Service is horrible when it's slow . Which is ironic,cuz you'd think it'd be better because of it being a slow night. Waiter sucked...she was spread to thin between 20 people. But indeed ,she still sucked. Wasn't in tune with her tables. Because it's slow they force you to sit, by the bar area which sucks. Manager was a prick because he stood there and watched his 1 waiter and bartender struggle with 20+ people. Other than that ....great food.

I mean it’s Applebee’s. I feel like you can’t really expect much from here. I honestly only came for the dollarritas. The dollarritas are really good. Definitely worth every 100 pennies. The food on the other hand not so much. They need to do something different to their menu and maybe even find a new food supplier. The quality is extremely poor especially for the price you pay. You whined up paying about 12-15 dollars a person which I feel like you can spend that elsewhere for much better food. Also the service has gone down exponentially! I come to a restaurant to be waited on not to do all the work. The servers rely on you doing the work on the little tablet thing a lot. And often catch an attitude when you don’t want to use the tablet. I wouldn’t come back for the food only the drinks that are a dollar.

We got there today (party of 5) and we were told there was at least a 15 minutes wait. I told the host we were going to sit at the bar section instead and she did not like that and then told me if I decide to sit there to use only the bar stools. I noticed they were plenty of empty tables at the bar area and the whole restaurant. When my wife question the host Anastasia why we couldn't sit at one of the table in the bar the bartender, Alexa told us she did not appreciate the way my wife questioned the host. These people had nothing but attitudes and poor customer service to the point we left to a much better restaurant with great customer service. Bottom line, we are not coming back again to this place mostly when we have much better choices in town. If I could give them a lower star I would and definitely will not recommend this place to anybody.

I ordered a plain cheeseburger, meat cheese ketchup 3 ingredients, small fries and a lemonade, not only did they forget the lemonade but they forgot the CHEESE on a CHEESEburger they said the ketchup would be on the side yet there was NO ketchup at all I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup and instead just got a patty in-between buns, I’m not sure how you forget 2/3 ingredients on a burger, this was not a pleasant experience as this was supposed to be my dinner, however I’ll now have to get other food for tonight.

Got food poisoning Saturday night from this place. Put the cherry on top for a terrible experience. Bartenders on shift change, neither wanted to help. Sat there for 15 mins, one bartender finally asked the other “are they ready to order?” Food came out after waiting forever. No. Silverware, had to get up and ask someone for some. The attitude and lack of work ethic around that place is quite absurd. Leaving was the best time of the experience. Until middle of night when the sickness came on. Awful experience.

The quality of food has taken a major dive the steaks are smaller and tougher than any place I've ever been to with a horrible cut of meat. It's really bad .. The shrimp is smaller and fishy not like seafood fishy . What use to be my go to dish is no longer it's terrible.:( I ordered the all you can eat deal also, and let me say I was very disappointed. The ribs never seen a grill, how do you serve ribs that never seen a grill ? These ribs looked boiled and served with some type of bbq sauce, the buffalo chicken bites cold and hard. Last but not least, the blonde OMG you know when I don't like something I don't finish it nor do I take it home with me I took about two bites of everything. You guys happen to mess up my favorite thing on the menu I used to come in just for the dessert and it was so bad and stale. I am at a loss. What has happened here Applebee's? This is bad.

Update: Horrendous, had to call the manager to remove one plate from bill. Salmon plate was cold and so were all the sides, veggies were cold and not steamed! Do they weigh the food before serving? the plates were all scarce, so were the appetizers! We will never come back. Prices do not reflect the food. The service was mediocre. We encountered a low level chef that evening, left a bad taste. 1 Year ago: Curbside is great! The service and food is very good. Weekday dining is much less crowded. Great place!

So, let's start with the timeline of how things arrived.. party of 3, dine in for dinner.. Seated within minutes... 5 minutes later drink order was placed. 5 minutes later TWO of the 3 drinks arrived. 10 minutes later the 1st of 2 apitizers arrived.. still no 3rd drink arrived. 5 minutes later one of us got their meal. . 3rd drink still hasn't arrived. moments later, 2nd appetizer arrived. a few minutes later 2nd guest meal was served, and moments later the 3rd meal... STILL no 3rd drink. Third meal was prepared INCORRECTLY.. after retrieving the waitress, 3rd drink arrived.. but now he was done with his meal.... 5 minutes more before the 3rd meal was corrected.. AFTER 2nd meal was close to consumed. Refill requested.. 2nd meal finished before refill arrived... our little lady is now eating while everyone else is done.. if you think we're WAITING for a desert...?? NOT A CHANCE.. gonna be a LONG time before I come back...

Worst hostess and customer experience EVER!! I came in with party of 5 for my best friend’s 30th birthday. I asked for the empty corner booth table in the main dining room that was open and able to fit 6 people. There were customers enjoying their meals on either side of this empty table. Instead of seating me there at my request the hostess walked me over to a table in the bar. I once again asked for the large table in the main dining room. Instead she walked me to a table for 4 in the main dining room. I told her that I was the customer and asked her why as aI couldn’t have the table I wanted. She said that they would be cleaning up in that area soon. It was 7:15pm and there were people sitting at the tables next to the one I wanted!!! She rudely handed my daughter the silverware, napkins, and silverware and said to just sit wherever we wanted and then she walked off. I sat in the table I originally wanted and waited for the waitress to come by so I could talk to a manager. Instead the hostess called a meeting with the three waitresses on duty and kept on looking over at my table. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come over but all they did was keep on walking by being careful avoid all eye contact. We got up and went to another restaurant that treated us AMAZING. I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!

Did the 2-25 entrees. The broccoli was absolutely raw. The instant garlic potatoes. Straight out of the box. The six oz sirloin was definitely a reheat (airline food) the cheese in the mozzarella sticks wasn't cheese. I could go on about the appetizers and the skunked wine. The picture is complete. I absolutely don't understand a grill type restaurant that only reheats food. Our Service was great and the eating area was clean. For me this is a one and never again!

horrible. we hot a booth right away. but then say there for 15 mins before a waitress tells us there's 3 very large to go orders ahead of us and she didn't know how long it would take for us to get our food. she passed by a few times before telling us this. she also was just going to take our drink order and not inform us of the wait until we said we're ready to order our food. to make it worse her attitude was terrible. probably over stressed. next time let the hostess warn guest that there may be a big delay instead of waisting customers time.

Iced tea had aftertaste of an ashtray, returned it after one sip but they still charged for it. My wife wanted Impossible Burger but they were out, so she ordered Mozzarella Sticks since they have basically no other options for vegetarians. They were cold, as were our fries. The fish and chips I ordered had cold fries but the fish was good. However, the tartar sauce tasted very sweet and was not good. My son liked his grilled cheese but would not eat his fries. When I checked my bill and saw the iced tea still on there, I noticed they also charged 3 dollars for use of the games at the table. The problem is it never warned us that the games cost money or my 5 year old would have played on a phone. At least make a parent agree to the 3 dollar fee before a kid can start playing and probably tell customers when seating them because I was the one that saw the games and handed it to my son and it never said anything about a fee. Place was clean, server was nice, but food was just terrible. First and last visit to this location since Habit is across the street and far better food for cheaper.

My husband and I went to dinner here tonight and we're very disappointed. We were sat at our table and our server didn't come over until after we had been sitting there for almost 10 mins. We ordered 2 appetizers. Buffalo wings and pretzels that were brought out by a runner. The buffalo wings were so over cooked, dry and hard to chew. The pretzels were good but the cheese sauce to dip them in was horrible. Did not taste like cheese in any way. Then we got our meals. Again brought out by a runner. My husband's food was good, however I got the 4 cheese mac and cheese and it was horrible it tasted like pasta water. No cheese taste at all. Not once did our server stop by to check on us. I had to flag down our server to order to go food for someone else which I told my server in the beginning of our interaction. I had to flag her down to get a box to take home left overs. Had to flag her down to get refills. Over all a horrible experience and won't be back. Save your money. This place is expensive for the horrible food. Chilis is way better for the price and food.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my profound disappointment, confusion, and mild sense of betrayal regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. At no point did I knowingly agree to pay $3.99 for what I assumed was a harmless, time-killing kiosk game. I did not receive a warning that was clear, obvious, or readable by a normal human being eating mozzarella sticks in a dimly lit booth. Yet somehow, despite my lack of consent, enthusiasm, or awareness, the charge appeared on my bill. To be clear: I did not order a premium experience. I did not sign up for downloadable content. I did not think, “Yes, I would love to pay four dollars to tap a screen while waiting for food.” And yet, here we are. What makes this worse is that I only discovered the charge after paying cash, at which point the receipt had already vanished into the void — leaving me with the distinct feeling that I had been outplayed by a tablet. If the intention is to quietly nickel-and-dime customers through unclear prompts and microscopic disclaimers, then congratulations — mission accomplished. If not, I strongly suggest rethinking how these charges are presented, because the current system feels less like optional entertainment and more like a digital ambush. I expect better from a restaurant whose primary purpose is feeding people, not charging them surprise tolls for touching a screen. They mess up often! They burnt my bacon cheeseburger bun that only had half a piece of bacon and there soda was straight carbon and this is just one of many times they messed up

I am not sure what is going on with this location. It was good at one time. Seems like they forgot how to cook food. Last 2 visits I have asked for well done as I always do and the steak is rare tough and full of fat. Will not be back.
