We travel to Mesquite once a month for medical readons. Every time we stop at this Starbucks on our way back. Not once have we been disappointed with the coffee or the food. This is the place to stop while on a road trip
Gia or Gio, I think, was my barista. Such a super cool chick! Wrote stay safe on my cup because she listened when I said I was on a road trip. She danced in the window to make me smile when I looked irritated. Best service I have EVER had at a Starbucks. Be sure to tip her, she deserves it!
Well-made drinks, good attitudes, and amazing scenery. The deck outside and the wood inside is really well done and perfect lighting. One of the baristas greeted me with an AMAZING attitude and an even better smile! I think her name was Gia - she deserves a raise PRONTO! Overall, my experience there was really friendly and made my drink taste even better.
I visited yesterday and the gentleman that took my order was very kind. In exchanging money he noticed that I was having difficulty with my left arm. (I recently had shoulder surgery) he made sure he leaned farther out to my car to make sure I didn't hurt myself. This sounds lame, but I've been to several restaurants that saw my struggle and still didn't make the exchanges easier. Kudos to the server at Starbucks.
I ordered a coffee and a bagel with cream cheese using the mobile-app. I got there, everything went smoothly as i went through the drive-through. As I got to the Window they gave me my coffee then my bagel bag. As I'm driving away and checking the bag I notice something, no cream cheese. I quickly reversed and went to the window, the lady says It should be in the bag. I check again, no cheese. The lady then goes to the cooler to get me more cheese and I look to my passenger seat and see it lying there. I'm too embarrassed to tell them and take my fraudulent cream cheese. I can't show my face here again.
Great staff! Pretty quick! I always order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with a Bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich every weekend morning when going to work at the QT across the street, and it's always fresh and hot! You guys are the best!
This establishment was gorgeous and the help was amazing! The barista that served me was named Bri. I went in and I had had a drink but had no idea how to order it. Not only did she get me the drink I wanted but she was so kind and had such a positive attitude and a smile on her face the entire time! If Bri’s boss sees this. She needs a raise. She was doing 3 things at once and was very attentive to every task she was doing. What an amazing person!

My favorite location. The girls there KNOW HOW TO MAKE A GOOD COFFEE. I live in Dallas and around my house I have 5 with in a 10min drive. We have a ranch in terrell and it’s a must to come here and get a coffee from you all!
The Pistachio Latte was amazing! Other than that my favorite thing about this Starbucks is that the indoor seating was incredibly cozy. If covid wasn't currently preventing indoor dining I definitely would have snagged a seat and stayed a while. The outdoor patio was nice as well!
Drive-thru line was long and moved slowly BUT the person in front of me had paid for my coffee when I got to the window. So . . . I paid for the person behind me. Such a warm fuzzy feeling for all involved when we show kindness to one another. BEST Christmas present. As always, the coffee was perfect.
The lady who speaks at the drive-thru is such a bright shining light. (I think her name is Sophie but I am not sure). I think she is what makes this the best Starbucks in all of Kaufman County. She brightens my day everytime I visit, she always speaks kindly and makes you feel important. She makes the world a better place. Thank you!!!
Starbucks isn't new, but it certainly is reliable. This drive-through location sits on my way to Dallas every workday morning. And I always seem to think I'm deserving of another “vanilla latte, hot, whole milk, and double cup” And that's how you do it.
This location is the best Starbucks I’ve come across in a LONG TIME! My drinks are always delicious, consistent & done in a timely manner. Will be stopping everytime ! 💚

My husband said I should check this location out on a recent trek out to Tyler. Did not disappoint. It's huge with space to stop, chat, study, and more... I miss spaces like this one. The staff were friendly, fast, and willing to help in different ways. It may be our new stop on the way east.
Great Starbucks stop in Terrell, TX, right off I-20! I was driving west and stopped early in the morning—friendly service, convenient location surrounded by gas stations, and they even had my favorite grilled cheese sandwich (which often sells out). As always, the fall drinks hit the spot. Perfect stop on a road trip!

I don’t know why but this location always has the friendliest staff. It’s not quite as comfortable as old-school Starbucks, with actual couches and cushioned chairs, but it’s better than the newest ones. I recommend it over the next closest Buccees adjacent location. Less traffic, better parking, better atmosphere.
Always a great time at this location. The WiFi works great. It's mostly clean, the bathrooms could be cleaner! And some type of spray in the bathroom would be awesome. Since it's unisex bathroom the Odor is different. Just a suggestion. Other than that I'm satisfied with my visits. I come 2-3 times a week to change my scenery for work projects.
Always a good buy. The staff was friendly even though it was later in the day with little to no rush. Their green juice selection was poor at this time but not an issue being latter in the day.

This was the first time I ever been to Starbucks it was a good place to go. I had coffee and it was so good. A Very nice place to go and enjoy your coffee with your family and friends. Friendly staff and great service.
Coffee was excellent! They were a bit understaffed as we had to wait 10 minutes for 2 pieces of pound cake. But then again, things move a bit slower in the country, so no complaints as the staff was very friendly.
They are always out of everything at this location. If you're going to advertise something then you should have all of the ingredients for it! Otherwise, take it off the menu!
Friendly staff and lots of room to work. Unfortunately I they didnt fo almond milk in our drink and we had to get it fixed. That kind of mistake could make someone sick. 01/13/2020 I'm here again working and the music is so loud it's like I'm in a club. This causes the workers to talk louder and louder. Just turn the music down. There is no need to have it so loud in here. It's also, always really cold in here. Going to find another place to use Wi-Fi.
I'm torn between a 3 and 2 star. The mocha was good, but the breakfast sandwich I got was still frozen in the center. I fed the rest of it to my dog and even she made a stink face. 😵💫
Starbucks in general are pretty good, but the kids behind the counter this visit were a mess. I was the second customer in line when I walked in. Every drink for the customer before me was wrong and it took over 15 minutes to make a latte.
This used to be our main Starbucks back when the dream team worked there. Allie, Vanessa and Jackie... Those days are gone. It's a busy store. Proven lately not a place to do mobile order. Mobile orders mean they find your sticker after you stand patiently and wait. (This was a 1st Monday (Canton) day but they weren't particularly busy. I'm hardly a grouch with my reviews but the mobile order problem has been consistent.
We came with our kids on Sunday, it was empty except for one person, while ordering the lady in the front asked us to ask our kids to stop playing with a toy because there was one customer studying. We are always respectful of noise but they were not loud, we were just going to order to go but this made feel uncomfortable and I don’t want to come back to this Starbucks anymore . We are now waiting outside for our order
This is one of the closest Starbucks to where I live, and one of the only coffee shops in town, so to be totally honest, I come here more than I want to. The coffee is pretty good and there is a lot of seating, but the shop is not very clean, and the service is pretty slow, so I am underwhelmed. The redesign of the store layout a few years ago was nice, but I was hoping that the new workers would improve things more than they did.
This particular location. The employees were as cold as the temperature in the building. No one looked up or greeted anyone or acknowledged anyone. Until a young man appeared from somewhere and he asked if I was waiting on an order. My coffee had been sitting there half way completed. When I got to my car, I realized my hot coffee was warm 😒. But I'd already waited long enough, so I just left.
Ordered to go coffee. Both coffees taste weird, like old dish rag smell/taste. It's my first Starbucks complaint ever. FYI please make this right
I still love the Starbucks and it was always a great place to stop and get some work done, and have some decent coffee, but with them completely changing up their seating, I don't go back in there anymore. Quite uncomfortable!
The crew on duty the night we visited are clueless as it pertains to santation. They handed a drink to the wrong customer who took the lid off the coffee to sniff it because it smelled of peppermint. The customer notified the barista it was the wrong drink and they placed the lid back on the coffee cup and handed it to another customer. The barista should have immediately discarded the drink. The barista remade the drink after the customer refused to accept it. This was the worst thing I've ever seen at a Starbucks. There were approximately 4 customers in the store and we all looked at each other. I'll bypass this store in the future.
The two gentlemen that took my order and gave me my drinks, they get 10 stars. Friendly and prompt. However, one girl walked around talking on her phone not doing anything. She was nudged to come take my order by a woman working at the wondow and never even looked my way. I had to wait for the guy who was busy making drinks.
They have flies in their food case all the time and the glass is unusually cloudy all the time, another indication they do not clean it often. And I watch them continuously serve people from it. It appears as if they work only because they have to, not because they want to and that customers are disturbing their peace. If you're used to friendly and clean Starbucks, steer clear of this one.
Some of the staff here is stellar. Others will ruin your order Every. Single. Time. A specific employee has ruined my order every time I have been there. Also, they allow mobile ordering, however I made an order and went to pick it up and they were closed for cleaning or something during normal hours and there was no way to get a refund for my order I placed. They should have turned off the mobile pickup ordering.
One working restroom. No toilet paper. No towels. Toilet not flushed. Yellow liquid All over the seat and floor. Shocked there was in fact soap.
Drinks were good but if your going to have unisex bathrooms make sure you keep them clean, urine everywhere!!! Gross!!!
The Starbucks in Kaufman can't compare to the Starbucks in Terrell. They make their drinks to perfection. Each time I order from Kaufman Starbucks, they're never made correctly. They're either too watery, not hot or taste different each visit.
This store won't start your app order until you get there. Then they complain about how busy they are. Every time. Makes them look unprofessional. Often this store won't have what the app says they have. Today I watched them put two walk-ins ahead of my app order while I watched.
The wait time was extremely long and the person taking the orders wasn't as friendly as most baristas. I always order my refreshers with light water and light ice. He told me that since I ordered a venti, my cup would be half full. Seriously?!?! I've been a gold member since 2009 and never had anyone tell me that. For what they cost, customizing them should never be an issue.
When I go to starbucks, typically I don't expect to wait excess of 20 minutes, especially at an off time like 4:00 PM. Yet, this location proved particularly slow, and seemed to even forget my order until reminded. To make matters worse, there are only two single-room restrooms, and this is a highway location. Despite a pretty venue and good coffee, I can't give this location a good review.
The service is terrible and always so slow. The only fast worker is there during Monday thru Friday, a black lady who keeps that place managed and in great working order. She has everyone's order memorized because she really cares about the service she provides and is extremely fast. I will not go unless she is working. Don't remember her name but she has been out sick and it has shown through the slow service if she is not there. You need to train everyone her working skills. She's fantastic and missed by many who stop at Starbucks off Hwy 34 in Terrell TX. She needs to manage your store and train each worker with her great work ethics. I have worked in the Restaurant industry for 30 years and owned and operated 6 of my own restaurants. If I was still in the restaurant field I would of stolen her and gave her a great position because of her customer service skills. I sat in line for 40 minutes with 7 cars infront of me and was late for my appointment. If she would of been there I would of been there for 10 minutes.
Okay, I’m sorry. I come here all the time but this morning was my last visit for a while. They need to do some sort of quality control at this location. The last three times my drink has been AWFUL. Idk if they need to do an updated training round or clean the espresso machine or something but it’s been BAD. The service is always friendly so I feel bad leaving this review, but they need to know. I hope whatever it is gets fixed.
I ordered a Carmel Burleigh I asked for extra carmel in they didn’t do that at all it was plain coffee so I went back through the drive through and the girl would not help me she said sorry closed and wouldn’t even help me it wasn’t even 9:00pm yet and so I called and ask to speak to a manager and she goes we are closed and straight up hung up on me !!!! Rude customer service well this Starbucks she did enjoy my free money and I had to through that plain nasty coffee out I will never go back their they lost my service I will take my business to the other Starbucks by Buc ees …
The place is typically clean; however, they have a frequent aversion to getting your order right. My wife was just served pure espresso instead of a latte and I was served green tea instead of a green tee lemonade. It's not the first time, but it will be the last. We won't be returning.
If you are a parent of a child in diapers, definitely do not go there! There is not a changing table in either bathroom to change your child, and the bathroom is filthy. When I complained to the manager, and told her hat I should have used a table to change my precious daughter. She informed me that would be a health code violation, and she would not allow that. Can you believe that!?!? I was LIVID!!!! The health code violation should have been exposing my precious baby to the disgust of their bathroom. I was so upset with myself the entire time I was changing her that I hadn't commandeered a tabletop. It was so gross in that bathroom, and she kept rolling off the changing mat or touching the nasty disgusting floor. I don't understand why Starbucks would not provide adequate facilities to parents of small children and babies! I will NEVER go back there EVER!! I encourage you not to either. Parents should not patronize establishments that do not respect our most basic of needs when caring for our children. And if you do go there make sure to change a really poopy diaper on a table directly in front of the counter.
Customer service was poorly and employees advised my culture. As it offended them, While I was ordering. Very disappointing , from the city guess nothing but country folks on this side. Said to look at it like that were all human and should be treated the same no matter what you look like and wearing. Be bless
They seriously can't get a double shot right to save their lives. One girl in there makes it correct. I ask for 7 pumps of vanilla I shouldnt have to do the most to get coffee I just go to the other ones but this is the Starbucks on my way to work so its irritating I have to drive further to get my order. Starbucks double shot ristretto 7 pumps vanilla soy. Not so complicated blows my mind y'all.
Horrible. The only Starbucks in-between Dallas and Tyler Texas (1.5 hours between the two) so it should be amazing since they do not have competition. Opposite. Literally, this place is so dirty you just might as well order your drink from the interstate and plop down there because it has the same cleanliness standards. And the customer service...non existent on the workers list of things to care about. I've tried giving this location so many chances before leaving a review, but they continue to disappoint. Reading the reviews below, majority agree. Who is the manager or district manager and why is nothing being done to address these consistent issues?
arrived here at 5:15 am but was close, doesnt open until 5:30. Waited outside by door until 5:40 am but just ignored me, they never unlocked door but where taking orders on drive thru when i was there first… got tire of waiting and left…VERY BAD SERVICE… will never go again
Worst Starbucks on the planet. 30 minute wait for 2 frapes. Brista tells me they only have 2 blenders. Not staffed or equiped to handle customer base. Will not return. Person at register not trained long enough to take orders after 5 minutes at register. Disgrace to a starbucks junkie.
I have given this Starbucks a shot multiple times but is somehow always consistently gross. It’s in a convenient location right next to my job but I’m done giving them money. The employees need training from the forney Starbucks as they cannot make any iced drinks. Nearly every drink I’ve had was completely undrinkable.
This continues to be one of the worst run Starbucks in the chain. I was here a week ago in the lobby was open just for takeout. I came today placed my order on my app. Waited five minutes and walked up to the door to see a very small hand written sign that said closed for maintenance. So now I’m stuck in the drive-through line for 25 minutes. A large or more clearly written sign would have been very helpful. I would’ve passed. But then, I don’t think they really care
Took about an hour out my road trip because they could not get my drink right. The first one I ordered had NO SYRUP AT ALL (vanilla sweet cream cold brew). Asked that they remake it and then they obnoxiously added way too much syrup and milk (tasted like a nasty frappe from McDonalds). When I returned the second time and asked for a refund the supervisor came and asked what was wrong and when I told her, she responded “Hmmm that’s odd..” as if I was lying. My app was scanned but was not refunded. Will not return.
I have NEVER been to a Starbucks that I bought a Pumpkin Spice Latte and had it BAD but I was traveling thru and got one ... took it back because it did not taste right..had them add more spice...made it worse...went back to have remade...BUT was like nope this still does not taste like ones in Arkansas...but didn't have time to get another kind remade...so 5$ down the drain because I threw it out WORSE COFFEE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM STARBUCKS....MAKES ME NEVER WANT TO STOP AT ANOTHER ONE ANYWHERE....JUST BEWARE!!! If I could have given 0 stars I would. OF course I bet Starbucks does not see this review nor would they care...but had to vent my DISAPPOINTMENT because I really Loved Starbucks until now. :(
*CARD USERS BEWARE* I came through the drive thru on July 1st. I swiped my card and the machine was taken back inside the window. Moments later I was told that sometimes the machine is weird and it was supposedly showing like I never swiped my card at all. I swiped it again. I now have 2 charges for the exact same amount on my account. I highly recommend asking for a receipt and checking your accounts if you ever have to double swipe here.
They made my drink wrong and argued with me that's how it's made. After a long battle with the gentleman at the drive thru, which I pre-ordered my drink. Another worker came by overheard and cut the drive thru barista off and said, ma'am.. I will make it right for you, please tell me your drink. She did make it and it was perfect. Tired of Starbucks fighting that they're correct and the customer is wrong. They need to be retrained . If I am paying over $7 for a drink, I want it the way I ordered it. Plain and simple!!
Ordered a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, while it looked like it was supposed to..it tasted like caramel and coffee. NOTHING like it is supposed to taste. I think somebody needs to wash dishes more thoroughly or maybe the powders got mixed up. Either way, very unhappy with the ending result.
I got off work and had 25 minutes until my college class and there were 4 cars in the drive-thru. I figured that I had plenty of time for a cup of coffee. Here we are 5 minutes until my class starts and there are still 2 cars in front of me.. This is consistently the slowest starbucks I have ever been to. The employees are nice enough, but this is ridiculous.
The service here is HORRIBLE. I was told when I walked in that my online order would be 5-6 minutes. After 30 minutes, I got back in line to inquire and was told that my drinks had been in the fridge. My name was never called. The same man I gave my name to when I arrived told me that they weren't told I was there so they just put them in the fridge. He was unapologetic with an irritated attitude, probably because they were busy on the 4th of July. My family stopped while on a road trip and we had wasted enough time, so I didn't stay to complain further or ask for compensation. There were 3 other customers I witnessed while waiting that either didn't get their drinks or got the wrong order. And, the place was infested with flies.
Second time I've driven 30 minutes to get to this location.... Got there both times before closing. ... was told today they closed at 9 for the holiday. Halloween is not a holiday!!! I'll go to the one in Van from now on.
The WORST Starbucks I have EVER been to! The place was filthy: every counter was sticky, had spills, paper wrappers, food bags all over, women's restroom was disgusting! Busy location so it was a management decision to understaff, no was current staff level could handle volume and clean all the messes!
Slow and flies all over the place. Dirty. Standing water on the floor. For customers to slip on. Place was not clean at all. Supervisor was totally rude to the girl taking my order. The girl just put her head down and said she was sorry. Supervisor guy was just an ugly guy.
They aren’t the smartest in the world nor are they really willing to do a lot of work. They have seemed very lazy the past few times that we have been there, especially when you ask for something that isn’t on the menu. They end up just saying they can’t do it unless you, yourself tell them that they can customize an order. Then they get annoyed with the fact now they have to make whatever it is you want. Truly lazy, wouldn’t recommend.
I know there’s been logistics and supply chain issues but my last experience was unacceptable. Order: venti iced coffee, classic syrup, heavy cream and a caramel drizzle. Price: $4.71. I saw the barista make my drink he only put 4 pumps of classic (6 pumps is the default amount for venti) and I’ve noticed that when I order heavy cream they’ve started putting “spl heavy cream” and that splash of heavy cream he put in there was a joke my coffee was pretty much just a black coffee. Then he forgot the caramel drizzle. Don’t really go that often but when I do I’m reminded why I don’t go anymore.
Friday morning I arrived at this location, I went in and ordered. Mind you there was only one other gentleman sitting off to the side on his laptop. No other customers were there, not even at the drive thru. After waiting 5 minutes and still no drink, then comes the first order at the drive thru followed by six others. Please tell me why I didn't get my drink started to be made until that last car in the drive thru? There was ample opportunity and time for one of the 3 employees to make my order before any cars pulled up. Wow, I really felt like I was not even a valued customer. The sad thing is I purposely arrived early so that there would not be any wait. I live in Tyler TX and this truly is a discrace. Hopefully management cares enough to address this so no one else has to feel the way I did.
Employees never read the ticket. You put no whip and they still add it. They never make drinks the same nor are they consistent. Very rude customer service. Remade my drink 2 times and still had whip cream and missing ingredients that I paid extra for.
Every time I go to this Starbucks my drink is wrong. I ask them nicely to fix it and they make it wrong again. Like wrong as in a completely different syrup in my drink than what it’s suppose to be. Today I was given just espresso and milk when it was suppose to be an iced brown sugar shaken espresso. No cinnamon, wrong espresso, not shaken and not even any syrup. Will never go to this Starbucks again. The effort is just not there for this store, which blows my mind for the price of the drinks they want us to pay.
Employees working on 02/10/24 showed absolutely no kindness, not even a smile when walking in to order. There was no one in front of me ordering & only 2 people in the drive thru and they acted like they were swamped. It’s really sad to see no one showing any compassion anymore… I’m spending my birthday alone today and this just kicked me even more when I’m already down.
They're more worried about their inventory than satisfying the customer. I've been ordering the same drink for the past 3 years exactly the same on my mobile app and not one other Starbucks has shorted me as badly as they have. Claiming they can't fill the cup all the way because of inventory purposes. I'm not quite sure how customer satisfaction is less important than the inventory.
Worst Starbucks ever. Slow. The slowest of slow. Like, late to work because I was in the drive through for 20 MINUTES slow! Depressing. The most unhappy, unfriendly staff ever. Fail prone. The number of times I've received a bad coffee or been told after waiting 10 minutes that they didn't have my food item. The most consistent thing about this place is the slow, failure prone, depressed staff. Update: The very next visit, they took forever. AGAIN. And they messed up my wife's coffee. AGAIN. We move in a month and one of the biggest pluses is that we won't be visiting this location ever again.
This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. 4 times out if 5, my order is not made correctly. I don’t even place a complicated order. Just regular coffee with extra heavy cream. Most of the time they use half and half, which is not heavy cream. One time I went to place an order and they told me they were out of WATER so all they could offer were frozen or iced coffees! How do you run out of water at a coffee shop????? I’m done. I will stop at one of the other 5 Starbucks I pass on my way to work. Don’t stop at this one unless you want something other than what you ordered.
The quality of people that are employed here needs to be reviewed. I normally come to a Starbucks to grab a quick drink, and check emails/work in a quiet corner, but this is the 2nd time I've been here and experienced this happening. There was a very loud employee that evidently wasn't working on this day, but came and set up "shop" right by the counter and continued to gab very loudly over the counter to employees that WERE working, while they were trying to make drinks for customers. The whole restaurant was filled with her gabbing out loud, that you hardly could here someone on your own cell phone. At one point, she wasn't talking and then asked out loud, to everyone: "Why is it so quiet? It shouldn't be this quiet!!" This is very unbecoming and unprofessional. I was almost persuaded to go ask her politely to respect other customers in the store and quiet down or at least go mention it to a manager, but in the middle of writing this review, she actually left the store and it was unbelievably nice and quiet. As this store is out in a small town, I'm not sure if it gets visited by company officials to see how it is operating or how it is run. The restrooms are always dirty, there are spider webs and dust everywhere. Not a good experience for me.
The 6am staff is frustratingly slow and they don’t even pay attention to the drive thru window. Not to mention this location stopped selling white chocolate sauce. I now have to drive to Mesquite to get my preferred drink. I’d rather go to Dutch Bros at this point.
The weekend crew has a horrible attitude! Needs to be more professional
Waiting 30 minutes for a drink is ridiculous. This location is consistently slow. Decided to go inside the cafe and it took 30+ minutes for them to make a fairly simple drink….
They are thieves so make sure you get your receipt because they'll add $5 tip when you're going through the drive-thru. I had to turn around and come back to have them remove the charge and by then my drink was spoiled so I had to have them make another one. They acted like it was no big deal, but the drink was only $5 and a $5 tip? Seriously? They said it happens all the time. I did not process the payment. I only handed the card to the Drive-Thru worker and she added it. They have thieves I'll never be back to that store
I explained NO SOAP IN EITHER BATHROOM. All I got was a stare. No apology, NOTHING. I preceded to order 3 drinks. NOT A WORD! We wait and we WAIT. One person inside before us and one in the drive thru. 2 orders eventually come, but no 3rd. I gave it some more time which can happen. NOTHING. I mention my 3rd drink of our order never came. The response was not friendly with what was the NAME!! The same order taker that never spoke came out of nowhere with the frappe. It had been sat over with the other drinks at the drive thru and had been sitting. We come through to go to Buccees from near Tyler at least once a month and stop at the Starbucks at the location beside B's. Guess it was our MISTAKE to not stop at our usual location. I don't know about the rest of Texas, but our family expects and deserves HAND SOAP to wash their hands after using the bathroom at establishments where we buy items!! JS YES, sometimes a bathroom runs out of soap, but BOTH!! Come on!!
