I ordered an €8 avocado and egg toast to go, and when I opened it, I found literally four slices of avocado. It's a disgrace, especially since I've ordered the same thing before at other VIPS restaurants and they've given me almost a whole avocado.

*edit review* I'm lowering my previous rating for the same reason I gave it a low rating the other time. They still have incredibly low air conditioning and the place is freezing cold. The food gets cold quickly, so you either gobble it up like a duck or eat it cold... *previous review* I'm giving it such a low rating because they had the air conditioning so strong that the food and coffees turned cold in a matter of minutes.

Outrageous mold on the bread at a place I had, until today, December 18, 2025, completely trusted. I come here because it's assumed to have quality and good preparation, but today I can't believe what I saw while eating the dish I chose. If the bread has "green mold," it's thrown away; you don't expect it to be invisible with the "red" mashed potatoes and the rest of the ingredients. And why am I saying this? Because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. At a time when we're bombarded with epidemic reports, I never expected that going early for lunch would lead to food poisoning from mold. And because I have photos of it. Why didn't I tell the managers—the waiters? Would it do any good? Would it prevent me from getting sick? And if they refund me, will it prevent me from getting sick? No, right?! VIP Smart Abadia, get your act together! If we go there to eat, it's not because of the brand, it's because we assume it's not a "den" where we might catch something from cross-contamination or rotten food. Photos attached. And please, if you don't like that coworker or brother-in-law, don't hesitate, come this week to avoid them ruining your Christmas ;). December 27, 2025. Good evening. I don't know what the quality is like at the other ViPS restaurants, but ViPS Smart Abadia is a clear example, and I have a photo of the "moldy bread" that clearly shows it's not good quality at all. I'm not the illustrious Dr. Fleming, going back for another dose of fungi to reinvent penicillin. By the way, bread doesn't get like that overnight. Thanks for passing the buck and not taking responsibility for your actions. I hope the other customers read your response so they know where not to go and don't suffer the lack of empathy shown in your reply.

The worst Vips I've ever been to. I'm a regular Vips customer in Madrid, but this is a disgrace to the brand. It took them over half an hour to bring our food. We saw them taking food from people who arrived later. On top of that, the sandwich arrived burnt; I'm sharing a photo because it's shameful… That's why it took so long—they were burning the sandwich. The worst 30 euros I've ever spent. I'm never going back…

My partner and I arrived at this VIPS restaurant and both ordered an American breakfast. We ordered at 11:40, but it was served at 12:10. We had asked a cashier with short hair and glasses (Noelia) for whipped cream, and she said it was no problem. When they brought us our trays, we saw that they hadn't included the cream because it was €1 extra, even though they hadn't told us or charged us extra for it. At least they should warn us beforehand instead of just saying yes from the start. When we went to eat, we saw that the potatoes were cold and most of the pancakes were burnt. They hadn't even provided the cutlery on the tray or the syrup that came with the breakfast because they'd forgotten about it, as they were laughing amongst themselves the whole time. We had to go to the manager and ask for both cutlery and syrup, and while we were talking to her, she went inside, leaving us hanging. When she came back, she gave us a tiny bottle of syrup for two people, even though we had ordered two breakfasts. It was pathetic, not to mention the meager portions—two small pieces of bacon on the plate, as if they were being charged for it. In short, the service, the treatment, and the food were all terrible.

I ordered a beer and my partner a cocktail. They brought the cocktail, and after 15 minutes I asked for the beer. Five minutes later, I asked for the beer again, and they told me they were out of the Alambra 1925. I asked the manager why they didn't tell me before. She said she was already telling me, and she was rude. The service was full of jokes while they had customers waiting. A table that came in behind me left without dinner, and with a small child. They got tired of waiting for dinner. I ordered a starter to share and a rack of ribs to share, and they brought me everything together. The cocktail had the most rotten mint ever. A waiter with a Moroccan accent wearing chains around his neck, wandering around like the boss. A manager with ponytails was incredibly unfriendly. Terrible service. Terrible attention. A disaster in general. I don't recommend Vips de la Abadía.

I've been having breakfast at different VIPs for years, and I've been to this one many times as well. Today's experience was horrible because after a long wait, they served me a terrible American breakfast. The pancakes were burnt and chewy, and when I asked for strawberry syrup (they told me they didn't have any), they gave me a chocolate mix that I don't even know where they got it from, it was lumpy. I immediately asked for a refund.

A rather regrettable experience. I ordered at 10:58 and was served 28 minutes later, only to get two coffees, one pancake, and some eggs Benedict. Pancakes with little syrup and no cream. VIPs has definitely lost quality. The eggs arrived cold, with a piece of tomato in the center, no ice cream, and the bread stale... I'm not one for bad reviews, but it's better not to spend your money here... I won't be back... Friendly staff. Terrible food...

🌟 We've eaten at Vips several times, but this time we decided not to return because it's not up to the standard of the establishments that usually represent the brand. 😔🍽️ In recent months, we've noticed several negative changes. Prices have gone up, and the portion sizes have decreased on many dishes. 🍲📉 Furthermore, the service has declined considerably, the drinks aren't well-prepared, and they don't offer adequate options. 🥤❌ This last visit left us very disappointed due to the lack of attention from most of the staff. 😒👎 Perhaps they were more focused on the World Cup, which is understandable to a certain extent, but the images clearly show a major management problem. 📺⚽ It's a shame to see how a place that used to be so reliable has lost so much in quality and service. We hope Vips can take steps to improve and return to being the restaurant it used to be. 🌟
