Love the daily fresh plain glazed donuts still warm when served!!! I think i have food issues.. :)

I only use this location. I use drive thru and I’m usually in and out with no issues. ALWAYS fresh.

Lots of options. Fresh and hot in the mornings. usually the staff is friendly. Sometimes it takes awhile to get though the drive thru.

The staff is very friendly. The lady at the counter was super sweet. The doughnuts were hot and fresh (with little chrispy edges). The sausage and cheese kolaches were delicious.

Came here during aftermath of Hurricane Beryl. Fully stocked with a variety of donuts. I didn't see any kolaches, but I can't hold it against them.

Went in this morning and the service was very fast and friendly. Cashier was very kind and bagged my items appropriately. I don’t get donuts and stuff like that often but when I do I’m never disappointed with this place. Also the prices are very cheap. Your dollar goes a long way here. Very convenient location. Very clean facility. Great asset to Tomball.

The Hispanic ladies are beautiful and very sweet and friendly. They make me feel right at home and they're very nice they know how to treat customers and make you want to come back again over and over. If I could I would give them more than five stars because they deserve it!!!!

Donuts are great! Kolaches are soft and delicious! If you're ordering glazed donuts, ask specifically for "WARM" glazed donuts and they will give you the freshest donuts from the kitchen and not off the shelf.

Who doesn't love Shipley's?!? I do too, but better than that are the pretty ladies working at this location. I wish I spoke their language so I could communicate with them better, but hopefully my smile conveys the fact that I appreciate them. I think I've got a hankering for a donut... I'll meet you there!!!

Attended this location early morning close to opening hours. Employees were playing music to hype themselves up and they were definitely ready to take my order attentively (it wasn’t loud or distracting). The young man in front spoke my language and it was an efficient trade of ask and give. He was fast and got everything correct when I ordered a full dozen of a custom array of doughnuts along with some scrumptious kolaches. They take their job seriously and greet and say their goodbyes as one would expect of customer service from days past. The prices are still good and you can’t beat a full custom dozen for around 12 bucks. The doughnuts were still fresh and hot by the time I reached my destination to spread out between my coworkers. Cheers.

Wonderful donuts with a large selection of food. We usually stop by on the weekends to get breakfast! The donuts are always very consistent on their food quality and selection. Always very clean and professional staff there to serve you. Not all locations are created equal. I really like the cinnamon twists as my favorite item there. I also like the chocolate filled donuts. Shipleys has been around for decades and will continue to service the area for many more to come. Stop by and support your local donut store. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I had a very large order for a party. The coffee was strong and bold and a perfect compliment to the donuts.

Shipleys is a family favorite! Sunday mornings are always hot glazed and a few other picks few ding on the mood. Kolache’s are a must. So warm and delicious sausage and cheese, jalapeño and sausage ham and cheese you can’t go wrong.

Kinda pricey, but great kolaches and cinnamon rolls.

They usually have what we want if you get there early enough. They’re nice though.

The cheese kolaches are great and the blueberry cake donuts are good too. Drive thru is great

I live in tomball and have never had a problem with my orders or service. I believe we do need to express bad services from restaurants and other food companies, but sometimes I wonder if the people who tend to have bad days every day may just pick a place and give a bad review and cause good places to close. So before writing a review, think of the people who have jobs and that own the business.

Love these donuts some of the best in the united States. Small place and the drive through is always busy but they get you in and out pretty fast.

The donuts are amazing, especially when hot. We drove thru and bought hot glazed(had to wait for fresh, hot but not long) and a couple of jalapeno and cheese sausage kolaches.

I have been to this location several times since it opened. And while Shipley's in general is not necessarily my favorite donut since I prefer caked donuts over raised the convenience, as well as the friendliness and professionalism of the service I have always received at this location more than makes up for the fact that I'm not as big of a fan of their caked donuts. Now if only I could get this location to opt in to bottled cokes instead of fountain cokes I'd be happy. Yes, I know this isn't eco friendly but I don't like the wax flavor from any paper cup in my drinks. So paper cups are not to my liking but if you don't mind that might not be an issue for you.

The guy working (he looked like "Baby Thor" so...)"Baby Thor" was working his behind off!! He was working the front and drive through. The only thing is that the donuts could have been better. They were "thin" and the filled donuts REALLY could have used more filling. But the service was GREAT, the restaurant was CLEAN, the only thing was my favorite part, the filling was disappointing. I will return though because that can be fixed.

Person behind the counter needs to pay attention to customers when taking orders. Had to keep repeating my order because she kept getting it wrong. Love their donuts. Just had a hard time getting them !

Staff was not the most friendly, but the strawberry and blueberry stuffed doughnuts are great. The spicy sausage and cheese is good but nothing amazing. The sausage is kinda boring. The place was well kept and seemed clean though.

Visited this location on 06/28/24 at 10:00am..... Ordered 3 cheese kolaches, and donut holes. When we walked in, the music was so loud, that I felt I was walking into a night club, literally!! I thought that it was because there was no customers.... Dined in, hoping that bc now there is a customer inside, the employees would lower the music!!! Nope!!! Not at all!!! There were like 5 - 6 employees, and for them to hear each other they had to "talk"over the music ( scream) I was there for about 30min..... Yes, other customers came in, but those were take out ... Or who knows??? Probably because of the music, they wouldn't stay..... I went with my daughter who is 6yrs old, and she even noticed the loud music, she said: " mom, let's go this place is too loud".

I don't frequent Shipley's much but it was within this year I went to one but I remember them being bigger than the ones in this store. Same price, smaller donuts. Oh well, guess I have to go to another one to compare. Darn it😁

They sold me old donuts. I hit them up at 9:30 in the morning and these were not fresh... They could not have possibly been made that morning.

I don't usually write reviews but I decided to this time. Visited 9/10/16 around 6:30 pm. The selection of donuts was great, especially for the time of day. The woman at the counter rubbed her nose and then proceeded to give us our donuts without washing her hands or using gloves. Then, as she was ringing us up, I saw a huge roach crawling on the counter behind her. I understand getting some bugs in the restaurant is inevitable... but it's really disgusting to see them right before I eat. Especially in a place where the donuts are just sitting out in the open.

Worst service in drive thru! First of all they need a menu outside for drive thru the cashier is often frustrated and doesn’t want to answer questions regarding what’s available if you had a menu I wouldn’t have to ask you! The line is always long and when you get to the drive thru window you’re rushed and made to feel like you’re bothering them ,also I ordered the old fashioned cinnamon roll which I usually like but today it was trash!... I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon if ever again... koloaches are consistently good though

I gave 2 stars because Shipley donuts r the best donuts in America. Having said that, I'm disappointed in this location. Came in last week to buy my dad, who is just out of a coma for 6 weeks, some donuts and a kolache. I made my selections, paid, and on my way out the door, turned to leave and saw a HUGE tree roach, legs and belly up right in front of the counter. Ugh!!😖😵😤 Gross, guys! Really!!!??!! Wont ever use this location again for safety reasons!! Roaches carry all kinds of bacteria and viruses. No thanks!

Placed an order (11/7/23 around 9am)of a dozen donuts 1/2 glazed and the other 1/2 of icing with sprinkles for my kiddos. Everything started fine at the drive through untill i noticed the lady placing the donuts in lined up in the box. I asked the cashier if the other women getting the order to please place them flat in the larger box. (I dont want to get home to messy melted icing) The lady at the drive thru got so upset rolled her eyes and all emotions was on her face. I told her there is no need to make that expressian as i am simply asking to place them differently so they dont get a smooshed up mess. She proceed to tell me in spanish is because the lady getting the order had already gotten the box to place the donuts. I let her know i am not asking for much nor should I have to ask there is no reason to behave that way and you need to control your facial expressions. I called twice to speak to the owner and its been 4 days and no call. Lucy says she relayed the messege and she said I can email and leave any comment i want thats not a problem so here you go. I was willing to talk this over the phone and not on here. Please lead the example and course correct your associates. Why would the person handling my payment get so upset over something that she is not handleling its obserd. Retraining is needed and held responsible for their actions.

The kolaches were awesome but the cake donut was majorly lacking in the flavor department. The coffee was hot! Hot! Hot! Which is great but it wasn't that good and I specifically came here for the coffee.

I had ordered a salted Carmel ice coffee and the lady went to the back to make it. When I tasted it and told her it was sour could i please have a different kind she told me no she can’t do that. So definitely don’t order coffee from Shipley. NASTY! 🤢

So, I went through the drive thru today. I was given a total of $36 and change. The lady working drive thru extends the payment "device", which I can not see the screen or make out what it says (sun was shining bright). Didn't think too much of it. Just took my card and tapped it, she had already verbally told me my total. I heard it beep. The lady pulls it back and says can you tap it again. So I did. It beeps again, she hands me my stuff and I head home. Later, I look at my receipt and it says, $44.34. I thought, well I swear she said $30 something?!! So I look receipt over and a 20% tip was added!!!! SO BEWARE!!! I'm assuming they have a default setting to a 20% tip on their drive thru tablet, which is absurd!! I am a server who makes $2.15 an hour. I work hard for my tips that I get legitimately!!! I paid them $7.39 extra just to put kolaches and 3 donuts in a bag for me. I'm pretty sure these people get an hourly pay. Will not be going here again! Yes, I'm sure they won't miss me. Just want to make others aware to look at the screen before you pay the ridiculous 20% default tip just for placing items in a bag for you!!

Amazing kolaches and doughnets!! The only thing is when your eating in the restaurant the employees like to sit at the table and watch/listen to whatever on their phone they have it turned up so your hearing everything from there phone and you can't even talk to anyone your with or on the phone! They sit there while the phone rings several times before they answer.

We always have a pleasant, fast experience with Shipley's Donuts, but today was awful! I'm not sure if the lady in the drive thru was training or just had difficulty because she did not understand English. The drive thru is normally very fast, but today I waited 20 minutes at least. She got our order wrong twice and I had to keep repeating myself. She also over charged us. She just shouldn't be in the drive thru.

There was a long line in the drive through and was slow as Christmas. After 30 min in line we got up to the window the lady did not understand 2 sausage and a dozen donut holes. She was trying to give us much more and then argued saying we ordered more than what we did. I would not recommend this place due to very poor service.

I had used Shipley's in Tomball since they opened to buy donuts and kolaches for a montly meeting. Last month, I was in the store when one of their personnel decided to clean the vents between the counter and the donuts at 7:45am while I was standing there. There was dust and heaven knows what kind of nasty stuff falling all over the place. Since the donut cabinets are open faced, I refused to take any donuts from the first 3 rows. I made the clerk retrieve my donuts from the back. It was disgusting! If it hadn't been that the meeting started in 20 minutes, I'd have found another donut shop right then. I will NEVER go back to Shipley's! If only I could give them zero stars.

This place has the worst service, the ladies that work there are absolutely rude. If they hate their job or people so much they are not in the right business. Donuts are good that is why we continue to go but in all the years they have been there we have not had one good service experience.

We go to this Shipleys every once in a while and the staff seems so unpleasant. I thought at first it was because they were busy, but we go there so randomly and they always seem annoyed and don't say very much. This last time we went, we had kolaches and our stomachs hurt all day.

I went through the drive-through and they left things off my order and the kolaches were under cooked. Please see photo. When I talked to the manager they would not make it right or refund the portion of the order that was wrong. Be warned if you still deside to go here and use the drive-through open everything you get and check it b4 you leave.

Went to get some donuts and kolaches today, turns out they ran out of kolaches and then when I asked for donut holes it was all punch up together like squished together. They didn’t offer to warm up my glazed donuts or anything. I am curious on why, if they are open til 5 how are they running out of food. Ended up going down to snowflake donut in tomball. Called at 4:30pm to place a 24 person corporate order for the following day. No english speakers to take my order. Had to place an order at an out of the way competitor because there wasn't anyone on shift that speaks our national language!

I never get fresh/warm donuts and I'm usually there by 8am. Kolachies are always cold and hard. They always put EVERYTHING in one tiny bag which smashes everything together. I have been going to them for several months but I'm looking for a different donut shop but Shipley was convienent but I would rather have fresh food instead. The manager needs to get it together.

Terrible customer service yelling out the drive thru window for me to come inside and pick up my order and to add further insult my food was not properly cooked and my entire order was modified without asking me will never buy shipleys again!!!

My wife and I went to the Shipley donuts at 28517 Tomball Pkwy in Tomball,Texas We asked the hispanic male employee if the Ladies were back there, my Intentions were to say Hi to them since we knew them for a long time, the Hispanic male employee without saying anything slammed.the drive thru window shut. minutes later the Lady came by the window and greeted her, I noticed the Hispanic male being right behind the lady and I asked the male employee what was his problem and upset at me, He just yelled out are you finished ordering so you can get the he'll out of here, I told him he was being rude standing in a combative position and very angry. The Hispanic employee again said for me to get the he'll out of there. I parked and went inside to inquire his name and Corporate phone number so I can complain, one of the ladies said she didn't know his name because he was a new employee. Another employee with fear in her eyes said his name is Erick, I called Corporate and complained, I couldn't believe Corporate wanted to send me some coupons for several free donuts, I told them I did not complain to get free donuts, my Blood Pressure went high up after this Incident, I could see in his eyes that he wanted to fight me , the rudeness and unprofessional manner he acted will hurt someone. I there as a customer not to be treated that way. I think after being a customer for many years it's time to never go back. If you go there be careful because he might hurt you, stay away. I made a comment about experience at that location and the Owner never reached out to me and Having my cell number and the mad employee is still working there.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. When ordering through the drive-thru today, the young man’s ‘greeting’ was extremely rude. He interrupted us multiple times while we tried place our order, and generally treated the interaction like a waste of time. It was disrespectful and unprofessional, we didn’t finish ordering. A few days ago I stopped by at this location and ordered a hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll and I took a big sip of my hot chocolate and it tasted like bleach .Even the ladies that work here admitted that the hot chocolate smelled like bleach. I got a refund but was sick for a few days and never again am I setting foot at this store.

I have been a loyal customer for 35 years! Today I get 3 cream filled doughnuts and I leave the store and start to eat one! And instantly I noticed the dough nut was raw inside. So I take it back to inform them. So to my surprise I'm told by the mgr/ owner it's a filled doughnut! Like I'm just a stupid person. Number one I have gone to many Shipleys for 35 years. So I know how every product taste. 2nd regardless if it's filled or not they are all supposed to be cooked. 3rd my husband is a manager at bakers dozen and for now own I will get my doughnuts there. Cause they are well made and they are made 🏡 and this Shipleys made a customer of 35 year's quit. Well the koloche is raw too. This is so bad corporate needs to know. I went back to get my money. I saw the mgr and she said something hateful in Spanish to the workers and gave me a dirty look. I sad all the product I bought was raw! She said and! I want my money back! She smarted off! So hope thier ready for the health department to come. If this lady is the owner then they need to loose the store! She could had made it right but didn't. They gave me food that could had made me sick and then that are thiefs. There are all kind of food violations there. No gloves don't wash thier hands. And all you have to do is read other reviews this happens alot food no properly cooked and the dough nuts were old as well and didn't even have the right amount of filling. But I have never been given a snobby look from someone in charge and if she owns it then good Lord! I don't care if you speak Spanish but when you look at me with this horrible look and then start speaking Spanish with all your employees then you are 100% talk crab about me! Came in to get donuts for the kids to enjoy as I’m in the car my kids start eating out of the box. As they hand me the box back I see green dots all over the donuts. So I went back in spoke to a lady n all she did was give me 2 donuts in a bag n said here. No apologies what so ever so I said I didn’t come to just my 2 donuts back I want an explanation to what this is and why are y’all serving people this. If my kids get sick from this donut with mold I’m coming back for you to pay for medical bills.

It is advertised on the news and multiple platforms that for Teacher Appreciation Day teachers get half a dozen donuts free. I wanted in line 15 minutes in the drive through and when I finally ordered I was told they were indeed NOT free but I could get 10% off. Since I already promised my son donuts I proceeded to order anyway. After paying, I was not even given the 10% off discount. I will never go back to this location.

Like most native residents around the Houston area, I've been eating at Shipley Donuts all my life. Sure they are all franchises, but they are supposed to follow the established recipes, standards and performance consistencies across the brand. This location served donuts that were smaller than the palm of my hands they were tough and some of them were obviously leftovers from the day before. The kolachies were disgusting--barely any cheese--tough ham and chewy sausage. Take a gander at the photos, then ask yourself, "Why?" You'd be better off to either drive to a different Shipley or roll the dice on another local independent shop.
