Not for the faint of donut. If you like Starbucks, then you'll agree with the other reviews describing Snowflake as run down, "about to fall apart", in need of repair. If you like donuts, then the comical shabbiness is comforting -- the money goes towards the donuts, people. For a sectional sofa with your triple-soy mcwhip, look elsewhere. Bonus: The drive-thru obstacle course keeps out the lightweights. In conclusion: Those who donut, donut.

This place is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth! The best donuts and kolaches ever! Also really good burritos and breakfast sandwiches

Recently reopened after a pre-Covid remodel. The new store is clean and bright with fresh donuts made frequently.

Not only are the donuts really good, the croissant's and kalachies are amazing! Service is always good. We love this place!

I used to take my kids here every Friday morning when they were in the intermediate school we lived in Tomball. It wasn’t quite as nice back then. But after tearing it completely down to the ground and remodeling it, it looks pretty snazzy.

This is the best place in Tomball. They have an incredible variety with super fun creations for the kids. The kolaches are always delicious. The place is always clean and the staff are some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Prices are pretty standard for a donut shop and the food is worth the price. Location is on a corner, also on a light so there is an easy.access from multiple directions.

The donuts are great but the other options are outstanding. Don't waste your money at Starbucks or any other sandwich place, buy your to-go breakfast here, they have the best in town.

Glazed donuts are great and the customer service has always been good. It is in old town tomball and my kids love watching the traffic. Its an older run down building which i absolutely love. Croissants arent as good and seem somewhat dry, maybe over cooked egg, can't narrow it down, kolaches are your typical family owned style (very good) .

I thought it was just a regular donut with the letters frosted on. What an awesome surprise. 😁 A 16th birthday kid is thrilled too, Strawberry Glazed is their favorite.

Snowflake donut makes the absolute best kolaches I have ever tasted. Every bite was like the warm nostalgic memory of waking up early to get donuts and kolaches before school. I cannot recommend Snowflake donuts enough, absolute 10/10

Me and the fam have been coming here for years and they are the best around! Food is always delicious and staff are very nice....but the past couple of months I've had 1 slight problem. The last 4 times we've come here any cream filled donuts had NO filling! A dot at most and the one I had today had no filling at all! Donut was delecious though but I paid for a cream filled and there was no cream 😟 I'll definitely keep going but I hope they fix that little problem

2/9/23 update 5:20am Took off a star because of one reason, not because the entire top shelf is still empty, i wanted some twist or at least chocolate bars, cinnamon roll maybe? i was told by the young "very patient" girl that they where not ready yet, i expressed "nicely" that i was looking forward to them and that it was a bit disappointing, and that's when the older lady "owner maybe?" Jumped in and said "it's too early, you can't find these ready anywhere, not till 5:40" and was a bit combative in her tone, that's what lost them the 5th start, i love these donuts and will keep buying them, none better anywhere, i just hope customer service doesn't go down hill, otherwise stars will continue to fall. 02/01/2023 They are back in business as good or even better than ever, almost 4 years since they demolished to rebuild, and in mid December 2022 they had the Grand Opening. Best donuts anywhere, better than Shipley's better than Krispy Kreme. 2021 Best I've had in a long time, they are currently remodeling.

Went inside & 1st impression the stairs leading to door looked like an accident waiting to happen! The parking lot & driving pathway was also need of repair. Donuts & pastries were okay. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

I had the following bavarian filled donut that was decent, fruity pebble strawberry donut that was different but good. And I will be that person. I had what they refer to as a "Kolache," but in reality, it's a klobasnek. A Kolache has fruit on top. This isn't the only donut shop that gets the name wrong. Now, onto the good stuff and what will keep me from coming back to this place. Every female I saw working had long nails. Which long nails is a great place for bacteria. I didn't see anyone wearing gloves or at least using a napkin to grab the donuts. The cashier cleared out the sale before I could finish putting my number in to have my receipt texted to me. I will finish saying that the staff were friendly and attentive and the place was clean along with the parking lot being clean.

Today was our first visit to Snowflake. We saw highly rated reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. The kolache dough is a bit sweeter than we usually prefer, but the bigger issue is that one of kolaches was missing a slightly important ingredient. The sausage.

Edit: OK, enough is enough of not getting what I asked for... today I go by and they are pulling freshly glazed donut holes off a tray right next to the window. I commented as I pulled up that "oh my goodness, those look fantastic" the lady laughed and I then said "yeah, ok let me get a bag of those fresh donuts holes right there, and a half dozen of your freshed glazed" which it is Sunday at 9:10.. they are pumping out glazed at the moment. I can visibly see them coming out. I am handed my bag of donut holes and the box of glazed to drive off and find that I received cold, hard donut holes and the same story with the glazed donuts... their glazed donuts are not great once they cool. I have a hot coffee waiting for enjoying my hot fresh glazed donuts and I am, yet again, left with donuts that will probably just go into the trash... if you are going to have inconsistent products, at least give the customer what they asked for... this is blatant lack of care for the customer request. As you can see by my original review, this has always been an issue. Original 5 star review: Love this donuts shop. Was a regular stop for my wife and I when it was the little red house. We were very sad when it closed but happy to find out quickly they were rebuilding a new shop! Unfortunately it took so long but was well worth the wait. Everything is delicious and fairly priced. Everything these days is expensive, just have to accept that. My only complaint is consistency. One day you get flaky twisted bread, the other its sausage in dinner rolls. One day the icing is very flavorful, the next, bland.. the glazed are on point when warm, not my favorite ones they cool off. A little rubbery. Overall its a 5 star donut shop. Always has been. The pros way outweigh the cons. Went there on our bikes just this morning. Coffee is also good!

First time ever the food this morning was below par. The kolache sausage was dried out as was the bread and the breakfast croissant was not good. Been going here for years … disappointed today.

I ordered kalachi's and they were hard and cold. Don't eat here unless you are willing to get food poisoning.

Asked the cashier if the (6) kolache's were warm and she stated "just out of oven". No microwave at home, I don't use one. Cold as ice and manager wanted to negotiate what she would do. Done and moving on.

I have given this place quite a few chances to improve itself in my eyes. Quite simply, their product is overpriced for what they're giving you. The latest (and last) time I went in, the display case had flies landing on the food. The drink I typically get in any donut place like this (Arizona product) is meant to be 99c. I'm okay with paying a little bit more for it at a donut shop. They were charging $2+ for something PRINTED at 99c. The food never really tastes fresh, the croissants are small compared to other donut places around, the kolaches are subpar, and they never really heat anything up well. Don't come here, Champion Donuts is less than 5 minutes away on the other side of the railroad tracks.
