Conveniently accessible from Republica and Termini. The service was spectacular and they cooked as if this was a gourmet restaurant; except for a fraction of the cost, the food was the highlight of the night. All waiters were very polite even when not assigned to our table. They even had some life music the night we went to; which simply added to the already fantastic meal and experience we were having in a group of 8 people. Our waiter even gave us limoncello shots free of charge. Highly recommended!!!

My wife and I happened upon Maestro as we were walking through Rome. She had the Gnocchi and I had the swordfish. Both were spectacular! Our service was fantastic and we loved dining outside.

We went there on our first night in Rome, we've eaten so good food that we had to come back. We asked Carbonara (which my wife loved) and I ate the Uruguay beef. Waitresses were really nice and ambient sound felt great.

My significant other and I spent a few hours at the bar; inside is quiet and chill, and the bartender is a treasure, seriously a class act. We got to try a few of his new recipes, and each drink was unique, creative, well balanced, and delicious. Our evening here was a highlight on our trip to Rome thanks to him. If you like craft cocktails I highly recommend Maestro!

We were staying in a hotel close by and found this amazing restaurant on our first night. We then went a further 3 times before it was time to depart back home. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious! However, the real stand out of the experience was the service. Alex and Anna Maria were absolutely fantastic and made us feel so very welcome! It can be daunting in a city where you don't know the language but they welcomed us and taught us about the culture and the life in Roma!

**Restaurant Review** A couple of nights ago, my girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner at Maestro Bistrot, and I can’t recommend it enough. We ordered a platter of cheese and cold cuts and also tiramisu , and everything was fresh, well-presented, and delicious. The selection of cheeses was perfect, balancing mild and strong flavors, while the cold cuts were high-quality and paired beautifully with the accompaniments. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The staff was welcoming and attentive, but a special shout-out goes to Alexander/Alex, who went above and beyond to make our night special. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he also shared a fascinating story about one of the drinks we ordered. His enthusiasm and great conversation added a unique touch to our evening, making it feel more like an experience rather than just a meal. If you're looking for a place with great food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service, this is definitely the spot. We’ll be back for sure if we visit Rome again!

Great hangout in the area, interesting options compared to the standard Rome menu . Mackerel with asparagus was fresh and flavorful, desert- white chocolate with passion fruit mousse and ricotta - to die for! Carcioffo/artichoke stuffed with cheese could have been bigger... Super attentive service too

Pranzo veloce, piatti della tradizione romana a buon prezzo. Ci sta!

All'uscita dal teatro dell'Opera, abbiamo scelto di fermarci in questo posto all'apparenza "turistico", ma, in realtà, capace di sorprendere il palato. I bocconcini di ombrina e la tartare di carne erano molto buoni: forse un po' troppi sapori, specie sulla carne, rischiavano di sacrificare il sapore dell'ingrediente "principe", ma i piatti risultavano belli da vedere a preziosi da assaggiare. I grissini (non proprio freschissimi) e il servizio (non sempre all'altezza di un locale come questo) sono le uniche ragioni che, secondo me, impediscono di arrivare alle cinque stelle.

Non il solito locale! Pranzo di lavoro. Personale cordialissimo e molto celere nel servizio. Assaggio di benvenuto offerto. Piatti della tradizione molto buoni (con pasta fresca, sovrapprezzo di 5€), frutta un po' meno. Vasta selezione di vini anche al calice. Consigliato per la zona stazione

Avevo visto che la loro carbonara era molto ben recensita, ero molto curioso e con aspettative alte. E lo chef non ci ha deluso, anzi. Bravi davvero. I prezzi - complice il fatto che la via è molto turistica - sono un po' altini (27 euro per una cicoria + carbonara), altrimenti avrei dato 5 stelle.

La donna bionda era davvero terribile e non sapeva come comunicare con i clienti, non consiglio di visitare questo posto!!!

The food was fresh, tasty, and nicely plated, but not quite outstanding. The gnocchi was flavourful and the bucatini amatriciana was good but nothing special. Portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price, which felt a bit high. That said, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good, making it an enjoyable overall experience.

Scrivo per un forte fastidio provato alla fine della pur gradevolissima cena (1 piatto) per stigmatizzare il comportamento poco etico, superbo e supponente della cameriera/patron (?) bionda, pronta a confondere i clienti con non detti, dal conto più che caro. E’ un vero peccato poiché il posto in se’ è proprio accogliente con altro personale anche disponibile e solerte e dalla cucina appunto sincera e generosa nelle porzioni . Ma le proposte al menu della factotum in gonnella non sono trasparenti e peggio volutamente sibilline forse per rimpolpare surrettiziamente il conto. Nella fattispecie un semplice cocktail Martini indicato a 9 € e’ stato, su suo invito a scegliere possibile marca del Gin senza avvisare dell’eventuale adeguamento del prezzo, battuto a 18 € (pur se nel menu l’aggiunta di altri distillati avrebbe portato il costo dello stesso cocktail a 15 €). Forse l’oliva, anche questa aggiunta, seppure chiesta, ha raddoppiato la cifra. Ahimè hanno perso un cliente. Contenta lei, se non loro….

Locale adatto ad un aperitivo più che per una cena. Piatti turistici.

Food was nice. Service was poor. Ordered 2 dishes, bread and water. Dishes came separately (5 minutes apart) bread came after dishes were served with no oil or balsamic. We did not receive water but were charged. Food took around 20 minutes to arrive. Location is right next to opera house. Place was not overly busy so this is not an excuse for slow service.

E tutto sciffo. Aperol Stpritz che costa €9 in bicchiere per prosseco senza niente per stuzzicare...

Lasagna fara carne....doar mozzarela si besciamella!!! Pizza....cat de cat ok

Unfortunately, I had a really unpleasant experience here. The manager (a strange red/blonde-haired woman) was extremely rude and spoke to customers in a very disrespectful way. The food was actually quite good, but the service completely ruined everything. The waiters were walking back and forth as if they didn’t even notice me, and it felt like I was invisible. The only good thing was one girl who gave decent service — that’s it. The bartender was also strange, and the cocktails were not tasty at all. Overall, I don’t recommend this place.

Jus don’t waste your money and time here. It’s all bling bling with no substance. 4 cooks yawning in front of you is not what you want to see. This place needs a leader, which was clearly missing. 2 hard price of bread with a spoon of garlic foam for 9 euros.🫣

The service was one of the worst we had in all of Italy. It took forever for the waiter to take our drink order let alone our food order. My wife ordered the lasagna that looked like it was days old and sent it back. (They still changed us for it) I ordered the steak and it was no better. Leave this place off of your list.
