The best gob chang in the south bay! This place it legit foreals fsho homie 100%
This place serves authentic Korean-style grilled intestines, just like you'd find in Korea! The flavors are spot on, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They pay attention to both taste and service, making it a must-visit for anyone craving traditional Korean BBQ. Highly recommended
If you want to try real Korean BBQ, especially pork intestines, this is the place to eat! Korean, like me, can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best Korean BBQ in CA. The service was great, the food is amazing and the owners are friendly and lovely people. Definitely check this place out 🙌🙌🙌
We came to this restaurant by one hour drive just because my daughter wanted to eat daechang, and the taste was definitely worth the drive.
Food is so good!! Kkotsal Jumulluk is the best of the best!!
Great and juicy Daechang and makchang! I ate those with cold noodle and Kimchi Jjigae and it was a perfect combination. Staffs were so kind and friendly.
This place was a delight. OK, I admit me and my friends were a little terrified by the intestine combos on the menu. We demurred on that front. But the more familiar meats were welcome and delicious. What’s more, a most gracious waitress who asked to remain anonymous showed us how to cook the meat and what to dip it in. It was an unexpectedly wonderful evening.
THE PLACE TO GO AND THE PLACE TO BE!!! We have been visting this place since my wife was pregnant with our beautiful son. Now he is a 5 year old boy who says this restaurant is his absolute favorite restaurant! Definitely try to avoid busy times so that you don’t have to wait! For the first time visitors, this is a no ordinary K-BBQ. Haksan specializes in intestine BBQ. If you never had it, you might feel strange about doing a bbq with intestine. Intestine BBQ is in fact one of the most popular dish in Korea. There are a few well-known intestine BBQ places in Los Angeles county. But I can definitely and proudly can tell you that Haksan is THE best place of all. Their meat quality is beyond expectations even for Koreans from Korea. The amount of food is quite big but very affordable (especially in this terrible economy, fulfilling good quality food with affordable pricing is a gem that you cannot avoid). Customer Service here is phenomenal. The owner lady of this restaurant is caring enough to say hello to every customers, and would even like to talk to you if you wish to ask any quesitons about anything. The most impressive thing is that they pre-cook everything so that you can eat almost right away (except for some meat, they do tell you that you should wait and cook a bit more and then eat). Environment is lively but not loud at all. One of downsides of many korean bbq places is that their music is too loud. Haksan does play music but not loud that it's comfortable. If you go to a Korean restaurant, or any asian restaurant for that matter, the first thing you want to look for is "how many of their own people are visiting" and "how many of older people of their own people are visiting." During busy weekend dinner time, this place is thriving with all ages and ethic groups. In fact, it's very fun just to be there because how happy people are eating there. It's just positive vibe overall! Remember that time when BTS said that one intestine BBQ in k-town is the best. I want them to come to Haksan and see it for themselves. LOVE THIS PLACE and will continue to visit here as long as we can!
Really good beef and intestines. I come for the intestines because it's very good, but beef quality is good as well. Highly recommended. But don't come too often, I don't want a line forming.

The grilled intestine here is absolutely amazing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and this place has become my all time favorite spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Tried the medium size intestine combo (for 2 people) and it was sooo good. Normally you choose 3 out of 4 kinds, but we added $5 to the combo so we can try all 4 different kinds of the intestines and definitely recommend trying all of them. And the medium intestine combo was definitely enough for 2 people.
Great food. Intestine combo is so good. I like mountain chain and large intestine.
I recently visited this restaurant, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The quality of the food was top-notch. The dipping sauces and side dishes complemented the gopchang perfectly, enhancing every bite. Not only the gopchang but also the BBQ combo was great! I recommend all menu. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our table was always stocked and that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Korean barbecue or is looking to try something new and delicious. I will definitely be coming back! :D

If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ in the South Bay — especially Korean-style grilled beef intestines (gopchang) — this is the place to go. One thing that really stands out to me is how clean and well-prepared the gopchang is. Korean-style gopchang is known for its thorough cleaning and careful preparation, and I truly felt a sense of safety and quality here. That attention to detail makes a big difference. All of the side dishes were excellent as well — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. I’d definitely love to come back here often with friends!

For lovers of KBBQ, you’re faced with suffering either through long queues or large chain restaurants. Hak San is a wonderful family-run business whose food lives rent free in our minds when the weekend comes. From beef to pork, sides to main, we absolutely love this place and are always happy to be here. We don’t NEED someone to cook our bbq for us, but the fact they do is only a bonus. The proof is in the pudding or in this case the whole experience - give it a try this weekend, you’re in for a treat.
Very good food! The meat is so tasty🥰 and they are very accommodating ❤️ will come back for sure! 👍
At first I didn’t really had much interest since I got into the restaurant until the lady gave us me and my family our food and even if we ordered a small meal on the menu we ALL got full in a good way and the service here was probably the only time I’ve ate food without any issues.

Would always drive by Sepulveda and always wanted to try this place. They did not disappoint. Angela was really great and of course the food. Ordered Combo A and small intestines. Will come come back and try the intestine combo next time. 🙌
First review of this place and it will be the last. The service was super terrible. Went in as a party of five, and we wanted to order a medium mix intestine combo. The server lady kept telling us that as a party of five we should get the large. We kept telling her we wanted to order other dishes too, not just the intestine. First, she was rude. Then, throughout the whole dinner, we got no water refill. We asked for banchan refill and they only brought one thing. Next is the food: the banchan was terrible, not great in taste. We got the medium mix intestine combo, the spicy intestine soup (tasted average, also it come with rice well they never bring it so we told them just don't bother bring it), the fried rice with cheese (tasted bad, only salty and sour from the kimchi). Also, a cold noodle dish didn't come out until we finished all of the other dishes. The banchan corn cheese literally had no cheese. I didn't even want to tip.
I went for dinner today (11/15) with a party of six. Even though there were plenty of open tables for six, we still waited about 3 minutes to be seated. They also messed up my order, and it took a long time for our food to come out. We had two kids with us who were starving, which made the wait even more frustrating. I understand that the waitress was busy cooking for another table, but when our food finally came out, the meat was served in a dish that looked like a dog bowl. Most of the meat was just grease and fat, and we couldn’t even eat it. On top of that, the attitudes from the waitress, the boss (a lady), and the boss’s son were terrible. The waitress clearly didn’t care, and when the boss came over she asked, “What do you want?” in a rushed, rude tone like she couldn’t be bothered to deal with us. Overall, it was an awful experience. I would never go back again.
I was disappointed with my experience and don't plan to return. A few concerns stood out: Pricing & Value: The Yukgaejang at $24 felt overpriced given the portion size—it came with a small serving of rice and only four basic banchan in modest portions. The suggested tip starting at 18% is also higher than comparable nearby restaurants like BCD Tofu House, where tips start at 15%. Service: Despite the restaurant not being busy, service was slow. After my dish was served, no one checked on my table, and the banchan were never refilled throughout the meal. Food Quality: The beef in the soup was tough nothing like I ever had as Yukgaejang and had a hint of gamey flavor that detracted from the dish. As someone familiar with Korean cuisine, I found the overall taste fell well below expectations. While I appreciate that restaurants face challenges, the combination of high prices, limited portions, and inattentive service made this visit disappointing. I hope the restaurant can address these issues for future guests.
