After booking, we headed to Vercelli with friends and took a stroll through the lovely pedestrian area. When we arrived at the Osteria del Vecchio Asylum, we were greeted by the very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had already agreed on the menu with the owner (very friendly and engaging). Excellent appetizers, and the first courses were very tasty and refined. The second course was delicious, followed by a superb dessert and coffee. Local dishes were well-prepared. We were very satisfied. Best regards to the girls, who are very attentive to their work... ciao!

In a small village in Monferrato, we found this authentic old osteria, serving delicious traditional dishes. Small, homey, and tidy, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we shared memories of Trieste with him. The panissa and bagnacauda were delicious, but it's a shame we couldn't eat the boiled meat because it was too much. We were amazed because he gave us two packets of rice. We hope it continues like this. (The food!) Highly recommended!

We were there yesterday to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. As always, the food was excellent and the service was prompt. They were willing to adapt the recipes to one of our guests' food intolerances. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, yet not excessively noisy. After many years, we finally managed to taste a panissa like our grandmothers used to make, but not only that, many other traditional dishes, accompanied by good wines and the courtesy and friendliness of the owner (assisted by his mother in the dining room). A small restaurant that helps make a small village great! Many traditional Piedmontese dishes and chef Fabio's creativity and experimentation. The panissa is excellent, as is the carpione di pesce... the veal tonnato ravioli are a must-try!

Simple, intimate, and original atmosphere. Reservations are required due to limited seating. Wonderful lunch, always attentive and friendly service, in addition to the attentiveness of the chef, always available and smiling, explaining what's on the table and encouraging you to choose from the various delicacies on offer. A place to enjoy authentic, delicious, and plentiful cuisine. You can taste the passion and care in the dishes. Definitely a RETURN. A special thank you to everyone, even for an off-menu dish at the end... to end a delicious lunch with praise.

The quality and preparation of the food—those we've enjoyed so far, like the panissa, the gnocchi with beets and gorgonzola, the pappardelle with honey mushrooms, and the pork cheek—are beyond excellent, I'd say, as is the vast selection of Savoy wines. But if it's true that Italy is a country in trouble, and unfortunately it is, it's people and things like these who are undoubtedly the cure. We'll be back as soon as we can for another installment of this trip. Bravo!

A restaurant serving traditional flavors with modern touches. Comfortable, excellent service from the owner, who knows how to suggest pairings and dishes. The quality of the food is evident from the appetizers, excellent wines, and house spirits. I recommend everyone to try it.
