Excelente lugar para desayunar! La comida fue deliciosa y a un excelente precio, de los pocos lugares en Tulum con precios accesibles y una ubicación muy céntrica, el ambiente es acogedor y rodeado de naturaleza!

La pizza 100% recomendable. Esta buenísima, no es grande. Es de 6 porciones, para 1 persona. Si comes poquito, 2 personas

Muy buen lugar para desayunar, los chilaquiles buenisimos, la atención de David ha sido excelente. Están empezando con los desayunos y tiene precios muy accesibles.

Muy buen desayuno (recomiendo el avocado toast) el ambiente es muy relajante y muy bonito y limpio, David nos atendió de maravilla y es pet friendly!

Estuvo delicioso y el servicio increíble. 100% recomendado. Los chilaquiles y el guacamole son lo mejor. No se lo pierdan

We discovered Ajala when walking around Tulum downtown and the atmosphere cathed our eye right away. There are many “jungle” restaraunts arond but I can say that Ajala feels deeply authentic, with it’s interior and music choice. We felt welcomed right from the start. The tacos we tasted were something else. A fusion of tradition and modern cuisine. We had tried different restaurants for cocktails but Ajala really striked the balance in taste, quality and price. The reason we came back to this place for three times was the food, cocktails and especially the attentivness of the staff of Ajala. Besides everything else, the host of Ajala suggested us travel destinations and we shared experiences. Ajala captivated our hearts and we will come back! No notes on the vibe of this place. The musicians are fantastic, 2 guitars, but lots of rock hits and excellent voices. Very relaxed setting with plenty of space and nice lighting. Great cocktails, one of the better quesadillas I’ve had.

Amazing food and service! I really wanted French toast but it wasn’t available, so I got the avocado toast and a mocha, and it was just as good. My husband and I got two coffees and two breakfasts and only paid $20 USD. We highly recommend!!

Pleasant Caribbean atmosphere and vibe. Live music. The food is tasty and the cocktails are not watered down. Totally recommend this restaurant. It's an oasis of good vibes in a multitude of tourist traps that only try to hustle you.

En Ajala, Tulum, pedimos un guacamole con carne, pasta de 3 quesos con pollo extra, spaghetti con queso y pimienta ahumada (pero nos trajeron a la pomodoro) y un filete de res con salsa de vino tinto. Aunque la comida tenía buen sabor, hubo errores en la orden, lo que afectó la experiencia general. Un lugar con potencial, pero que necesita prestar más atención a los detalles. Lo que realmente destacó fue el show en vivo, ¡muy entretenido! Nos regalaron una cerveza para compensar. El lugar es muy acogedor, respetuoso con la naturaleza y la Iluminación súper cálida.

Eh. The ambiance is cute. So that’s what the 3 stars are for. Don’t go here for food. Just drinks if that’s your thing. Worst guac ever. They should really take it off the menu. Literally just mashed avocado (NOTHING else in it like tomato or onions. Then random cucumbers as garnish??? Weird. I’ve never seen cucumbers on/in guac) + the chips were stale.

Me llamó la atención el lugar y en ese momento tenían música en vivo con saxofón, lo que se me hizo interesante. Lamentablemente no pude tener una experiencia agradable, quería cenar en el lugar y tomar unos drinks. La persona que nos atendió desde la entrada se lo veía muy eufórico y seguramente camote porque en ese momento estaban recibiendo bastante gente. Los meseros iban y venían, tuvimos que parar a uno random para que nos tome la orden de bebidas, al menos, pedí un negro o, no tenía mucho error, pero mi amiga quería una mezcalita escarchada con Tajín, llegó con sal, pedimos que la cambiaran, llegó con sal de gusano (u otro tipo de sal) una compañera del salón nos explicó que no contaban con Tajín, de igual forma no la bebimos. La persona que nos recibió nos volvió a tratar de una manera un tanto agresiva al ver que llegaron dos amigas más, que pasaron a saludar, realmente no se iban a quedar, nunca le pedimos una mesa más grande en ese momento, solo él se acercó a decirnos de una manera muy grotesca que si queríamos una mesa más grande, ese era el momento que cambiarnos de lo contrario luego no lo iba a poder hacer. Por supuesto, pedimos la cuenta y nos retiramos del lugar, nadie quiere comer rodeada de la tensión de las personas que te están atendiendo y haciendo tu cena “más agradable” Entiendo que el trabajo es restaurante es cansado y agobia, te sientes bajo presión, lo he vivido mucho tiempo, nada justifica ser grosero y mostrarse tan eufórico con clientes, que al menos de nuestra parte, estamos dispuestas a esperar o ser paciente si así se requería. Una lástima esa mala experiencia, espero poder ir algún día probar sus alimentos, soy local y me apena mucho este tipo de situaciones, aunque tenga la posibilidad de regresar, hay personas que no, siempre hay que priorizar la calidez humana.

Place had some nice live music! We just dropped by for a single round of drinks. We left around a 10% tip, and still the waiters yelled angrily "No tip!!!!" at us on the way out 🤷‍♂️

This is a HARD NO. nothing hurts more than paying for a meal you did not enjoy... and the service was weeirdd homie. We ordered a cheese board and it did not** even come with the things listed on the menu and it came all thrown together. Then they tried to re-do it and still messed it up. The servers would leave us alone for long** periods of time and didn't really help with our questions/concerns but then would be dancing and signing every time they came to the table.The food was overall very* mid and prices were high considering..

Service is AWFUL, worst I’ve seen in Tulum. Waiter treats you as a “bro” and acts like he is making you a favor instead of doing his job, seemed he was high, tbh. Food is cold and bland, no flavour at all, seemed like they gathered all the left over nachos/totopos and place them on the plate. Waiter disappears for looong periods of time and you see him around dancing or chilling then you have to remind him at least 3 times to bring you your drink and then he will tell you you aren’t the “only one” when there were only 3 other tables and plenty of waiters. They added extra drinks to our check and when I pointed out his response was like offended and then agaaaain disappeared for another 7 minutes, we just stood up went to the bar placed the exact cash on the bar and told them we cant wait any more and left. Don’t go there, go somewhere else. Extremely irritating having to wait for half the time for the distracted/high waiter. First time I don’t tip somewhere.

Food is bland and cold. We ordered catch of the fish and aguachile. Fish was cold and it was fillet not catch of the day. It is bland and cold as like frozen fish fillet air fried. We did not consume the aguachile not because it is bad but because we were worried about the food quality and did not want to eat shrimps. The manager asked us why we did not like it and we explained the catch of the day come as a whole not as a fillet as long as it is not big fish like Tuna or Swordfish. he made a sarcastic joke about that “ ok just a name then “ . We also did not understand why someone ask our opinion if they are not going to listen. Just do not go there for food. Price does not match the quality. There are multiple restaurants around in centro Tulum same or lower price and have better serving and food experience

seems to be nice from the outside but its a tourist trap! We had 2 burritos and they were awful. Not tasty at all just a normal tortilla full of bad white rice , few frijoles and definitely not even lettuce, onions and tomato. It was also served with Mayonese!! 45 USD for trash food.
