Ambiente excelente, comida deliciosa, servicio rápido, personal muy atento... Lo único que recomiendo es reservar antes de ir al lugar porque a veces no tienen espacio al momento. De los mejores lugares de Sushi que he visitado.

Exquisita experiencia para disfrutar de sabores asiáticos. Las gyozas increíbles. La atención súper amable y muy rápida, en 40 minutos nos sirvieron la entrada y plato principal.

Empecemos por la gran atención de todo el personal y del dueño, nos hicieron sentir como en casa y disfrutar de un muy buen momento, el lugar es muy bonito y bien logrado. Ahora en cuanto a la comida, nos dejamos recomendar y pedimos varios rollos los cuales todos estuvieron espectaculares. Se convierte de mis lugares favoritos de Tulum nos verán varias veces por ahí. Felicidades por este gran lugar.

Sin duda alguna este lugar es uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Tulum, el servicio, la comida y el espacio 10 de 10. Cada uno de los platillos que he probado, me han encantado, pero mi favorito son las gyosas, un manjar! La cereza del pastel es que en el menú hay un 2x1 fijo.

Es de lejos uno de los mejores restaurantes de Tulum. Tienen un 2 x 1 en sushis (16 bocados por 320 pesos), muy buenos cocteles y delicioso 💯 Muy recomendado. También tienen 2 x 1 en cocteles de autor

Akuma Tiger Tulum es una experiencia imperdible para los amantes del sushi. El ambiente es vibrante y bien cuidado, y cada platillo está lleno de carácter. Mis favoritos sin duda son el rollo Shi y el sake especial, ambos perfectamente balanceados y con ingredientes de gran calidad. Voy tan seguido como puedo, porque siempre es una apuesta segura y una experiencia que nunca falla.

Living on the west coast means being spoiled when it comes to sushi, so I’m always hesitant to try somewhere new. The sushi here was fabulous and the outdoor seating area amongst the trees is lovely. I’d recommend making a reservation as it was rather busy when we went with several large groups. The Le Tigre roll was our favourite but there was nothing we tried that we didn’t like.

After numerous Michelin experiences and world class sushi spots. Akuma Tiger has absolutely taken the throne. I can’t believe Tulum was where I’d find this. All flavours and texture and rolls are perfection. Like clouds. Highlights of my meal: Eel Roll, Nigiri (Salmon with Truffle) to die for, dry sake (wow), dessert Cheese Cake (So glad we didn’t skip). Have high expectations because you will not be disappointed. I’ve tried every other spot in Tulum and this was my last one. Kokoro is also another good recommendation for great food, good service and experience although this when you talk about Sushi being pure excellence. The kind that makes you not care about the soy sauce or wasabi not being real. This is it! My question is how was it even possible to walk in and eat here, they should have a waitlist but, people are sleeping on this place. P.s I would pay 4x more for this and still would rate it a 10/10.

Great little sushi spot! The menu was clearly marked for gluten and when I told the server he made suggestions too. They also had gf soy sauce. The rolls were delicious and big-8 pieces per roll. We were hungry and with 2 people, we struggled to finish 3 rolls. And an extra special shout out for friendly and honest service. When my husband gave the server $500 pesos too much he brought it back to him and told him. We would have not realized and he easily could have kept it, but didn't. Super refreshing when you always hear the negative about Tulum restaurants. Give this place a try!

Wonderful food and staff. Taste was balance and never overpowering. Tranquil atmosphere with tasteful music that's broadcasted at a pleasant volume. Staff was very knowledgeable on the dishes and drinks that were served. Bravo to the Chef and Team. One of the top Sushi restaurants in Tulum. Not to be passed by.

This is one of the best sushi we had in the long time. The place is very ambient and cool and the service is excellent. We had nori tuna tacos for starters, their famous salmon sahimi and hamachi special rolls with truffle mayo. They also have great selection of beers and awesome drinks. The fish quality is superb and the rice on the rolls is the premium quality which you can definitely taste. This is definitely a great place to visit for sushi while in Tulum, highly recommend it !!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was unexpectedly scrumptious, with a twist of smokey flavor from the burner. Our waiter is very welcoming, he explain every detail about menu and how to eat it. They prepare the food without the need for Wasabi nor soy sauce. Just pop it in your mouth. I highly recommend this place. There is some how parking in front of the restaurant amd it's a bit journey to get to it but definitely worth the risk. Enjoy.

An unbelievable sushi experience in the heart of Tulum. Funky minimalist modern decor and themes, well-layes out and very inviting open-air restaurant located on an unassuming street, highly recommended by locals and visitors in the know. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service and excellent recommendations by servers and staff. Start with a selection of unique, inventive hand-crafted refreshments and delicious appetizers (the spicy tuna crispy rice and vegan spring rolls were outstanding). Once you’re ready to move on to the main event, the wide selection of unique, creative menu offerings is sure to blow you away, marrying fresh local ingredients and flavours with traditional sushi and sashimi in a way that boggles the mind. Our group of 7 ordered the ichi, sake especiale, hamachi especiale, naha, hachi and akumataiga rolls - each was perfect, and perfectly unique and distinct. Coupled with hand-crafted ponzu dressing, sweetened soy sauce (not teriyaki), and straight-up soy sauce, the combinations were outstanding. In fairness though, the rolls were so good on their own that they honestly didn’t need any sauces at all - as recommended by the servers. Easy on-site wheelchair accessible parking. A sushi dining experience to rival the finest sushi restaurants, sincerely. Generous, just right portions, for high $200mx to low $300mx per roll, it was well worth it. For dessert, try the Japanese cheese-cake with coconut ice cream. Unbelievable, and a perfect way end the meal. Highly recommended, and will definitely be visiting again. A must-visit!

Nunca me había gustado el sushi; lo había probado algunas ocasiones en Colombia hasta que mi novio insistió en visitar este restaurante. ¡Quedé fascinada! Los rollos tienen buenas porciones y los sabores son increíbles. Definitivamente lo recomiendo. El ambiente es agradable, aunque el servicio o la pronta atención al cliente podría mejorar.

El lugar está muy bonito, y la comida es deliciosa ! Todos los platos son excelentes. El servicio muy bueno ! Solo que la copa de vino parecía una degustación y no accedieron agregar más , porque esa era la “medida”, si cobran 200$ una copa al menos que sea de buen tamaño . Pero todo excelente ! Okay, I over hyped myself due to the reviews. The food was good, creative, and well presented. I had several other dishes in Tulum that blew my socks off, but this place didn’t do it. First, my drink glass brought out with ice in it, looked like a cube had been dropped on the ground because there was something all over that cube, but no matter, I chucked it in the plant behind us. Then, our kids “root beer” was like a Jamaica drink, definitely not root beer tasting. The steamed edamame and miso soup was my favorite. We got the #3 nigiri, akumataiga roll, Blue fin temaki roll, another roll I can’t remember, nigiri sushi (2 piece), some non-alcoholic specialty drinks, and salmon nigiri (2 adults & 2 kids under 5 years old) and it came out to $150 USD with tip. I ate until I was full, but idk, just didn’t quite meet expectations as a package. The staff and atmosphere were top notch though, I’ll give them that.

Food is relatively ok. You can notice gyoza being frozen and then warmed up, because they don't take the time to fully steam them. Sushi and all, it's not wow but it's fine. Reason why I give it 1 star, is because I asked a chef behind the bar to remove fish eggs from 2 nigiri that I have ordered and paid with my own money and have the salmon a bit flammed. When I said that, some weird guy with a baseball cap said I'm wrong and it won't taste good and "I should listen to him because he knows since he made the menu". Yeah boy, you can do whatever you want, but in the end if it's my money it's my money and I decide however I want. Also for some reason I ordered in Spanish, talked in Spanish, they kept switching the language to English, like there are more languages in the world besides English. Price wise it's actually cheaper in Denmark or Norway to eat the same, at least there you have fresh fish. Been here a few times before, never again, and the chef can do whatever he wants with his menu. Ohh almost forgot, that salmon carpaccio they have, I don't really know what to say about it so I'll leave a photo here, it's marinated in some soya and has chili powder and chili mayo and so on. Couldn't eat that, if that's salmon carpaccio then I'm Benito Juárez.
