Me gusta mucho venir aquí a desayunar y ahora que extendieron su horario por la tarde tienen bebidas frías frapes de diferentes sabores, excelente para el calor 🥵

Solo compre un pastel para llegar pero el lugar se ve muy agradable y la persona que me atendió fue amable. Me gusta que tienen aire acondicionado pero también tienen áreas al aire libre 🙂

Increíble cafetería, una de las mejores de Tulum. Normalmente en una cafetería me fijo en que sea lo suficiente calmada para pasar un rato agradable por sí mismo y que se pueda disfrutar una lectura, trabajar o simplemente pensar, pero lo suficientemente ambientada para no caer en el aburrimiento y el fastidio. Cafeína es perfecta!

La mesera muy atenta y amable, te deje tu propina con el barista. Volveré, dios te bendiga 🙏

Excelente lugar para desayunar. Esta limpio, musica agradable, acogedor, buena atención y la comida bien presentada y buen sabor. Muy buen café! . Por mejorar: en el sanitario le falta la tapa del WC y las mesas son altas o sillas bajas.. un poco incómodo.

Nice café. Easy going atmosphere. Friendly staff. The coffee isn't too strong. I ordered the black tea and added a little bit of milk and honey. It was delicious. The wife got the vanilla matcha. Also was delicious. I suggest going here to relax and unwind.

As a true frappe lover, I’m always on the lookout for a great one wherever I go. Yesterday, after a disappointing experience at a small coffee shop, I decided to give myself another chance to enjoy something good and stopped by Caféina in downtown Tulum. I’m so glad I did because the mocha frappe completely exceeded my expectations, topped with a cute little chocolate popsicle and a texture so creamy it felt like ice cream. Every sip was a treat and this place has truly won me over. The only thing that might hold me back from coming again is the internet service. They explained it works for just one hour and then disconnects for 24 hours, but in my case my phone and laptop never even detected the WiFi signal. Their answer was simply that it worked on their own devices without offering a solution.

Last day in Tulum and we discover this place, if you are reading this, make it a stop in your vacation earlier, you will be back. Beautiful & modern café on « Main Street » in Tulum, Cafeína offers everything you need to start your day on the right foot. Their coffee is above average tasting, pasties are limited but quality, and the real standouts are the breakfasts. Do not miss the chilaquiles, this dish was my favorite breakfast in Mexico. The green sauce, the soft and melted tortilla and the fresh cheese combine to wake up your taste buds in the morning - outstanding. They opened on time at 7:30, service staff were quick and efficient, service with a smile. The dining room is modern and fresh. $475 MXN for 2 breakfast + 2 lattes. Highly recommended. My husband and I had a honeymoon in Tulum and this is the only place that we visited more than once. We were looking for a vanilla Frappuccino, and these were so amazing. The staff accepted our US dollars and was very quick with their service. Great location right in the center of Tulum and a cute atmosphere on the inside.

The first time I came here, the visit was flawless. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla and almond milk & a bowl to go. The coffee and the bowl were delicious & filling! The second time I visited, I was planning to work from the coffee shop, but that was a mistake! The wifi is limited to only 30 minutes and they are not willing to extend that timing even if you are buying their food and drinks. Do not try to work from here!

Del Cielo was packed, and looking at their menu we find their prices are over inflated. We found this place via Google. Not only does it have air conditioning set at ambient 24°C, it also has a good vibe, strong WiFi and great staff. A 12oz tall (alto) cup of cappuccino sets us back 50mxp. Espresso flavor is a tad lacking (we like strong deep flavors - cappuccinos made in Antigua is our fave so far) but the milk they used is good. Baked goods are all 35mxp each. We also ordered one Huevos Divorciado (110mxp). It was made nicely and thank goodness we ordered one as it was big enough for both of us. Visa card is accepted here.

Supercool atmosphere very calm and comfortable. Drinks were superb, but felt like food could have been better. Everything was fresh but taste could have been more Mexican i think.

i suggest you never sit outside, unless you don’t mind being hounded by endless people attempting to sell you items or just asking for money. this place is usually very busy, especially in the late morning and early afternoon- but when you try it you’ll see why. the lattes are good and at some of the best prices in town! wow. they don’t ask for a tip, which is nice, but is appreciated if you choose to do so. they take card. the service is very slow, but it is busy. if they are not busy then it will be fast. yesterday i attempted to secure coffee to go but said it would be 30 minutes— i came back a couple hours later and it was mostly cleared out and not a long wait at all, although they said no food- only drinks now. they have skim milk, a win! i’d recommend this place. not 5 star because of the slow service and constant hounding of people begging for money.

I visited this morning for my breakfast, looking forward to a pleasant drink and a relaxed atmosphere but what happened was deeply disappointing. The man in the photo working there not only showed blatant ignorance of his country’s rules, but also engaged in discrimination by refusing entry to a service dog belonging to a customer with a recognised disability. This behaviour is unacceptable. By denying entry to a customer simply because they brought their trained service dog, he failed to respect the dignity and rights of a person with a disability. He demonstrated a lack of training, empathy and common decency Under Mexican law and the Ley General para la Inclusión de las Personas con Discapacidad (General Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities) Article 12 states that “persons with disability who have as support for the performance of their daily activities a guide dog or service animal shall have the right to such animals to access and remain with them in all spaces where they carry out their activities.”  Also, the law prohibits any restriction that prevents the exercise of this right.  Therefore what occurred at this café wasn’t merely rude—it may well be a violation of the law. A service dog is not a pet, and businesses have an obligation to accommodate people with disabilities. The refusal signals either ignorance of the legislation or a deliberate act of discrimination. I strongly advise you to avoid this place as long as its staff remain untrained in disability inclusion, respectful behaviour and legal rights. If you do go, be prepared for the possibility of unwelcome surprises and stand firm on your rights should you need to bring a service dog.
