My mom took me here for the first time a few days ago and let me tell you I was blown out of the water!! The food was hot and fresh and the customer service was amazing!! I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! I will 1,000% be back.

I love the chicken here. The rice and corn are delicious. I love putting pico de gallo in my rice. It gives it some nice spice and good flavor. The burritos are decent. They have great family meal deals.

I haven't been here in probably over a year because the customer service was poor in the past more times than I'd care for. But recently we went there for dinner and they were fairly quick in the drive thru. The only thing I didnt care for was the manager or seasoned worker having an attitude with the obviously new employee who was trying their best. She went so far as to snap at him, roll her eyes, and make her disgust clearly visible. I'd just recommend in the future they keep their issues between them. Everyone starts somewhere and at one point everyone is the newbie. The food is great as always. There are some new menu options so there are some new things to try.

Healthy fast food is there such a thing? Yes there is Pollo loco, food is always fresh and taste great. Really like the red and green hot sauce. Their grilled chicken has a great flavor without all that fattening greasy breading like other chicken places that I won't mention. I drive across town just for their chicken tortilla soup. From 3⭐️ to 5⭐️ UPDATE: responsive management actually listens to clients. I’ve still been going ordering my tacos and no cilantro stems! Thank you for actually doing something about my complaint! The food is good. I always order the same thing. The tacos al carbon, no onions add jack cheese. The tacos are not consistent. One taco has too much chicken falls apart, the other taco I take a bite mouthful of cilantro and cheese. I love your food but have your guys slow down to keep up quality I keep going back for a reason! Ps cilantro stems

This is the 4th time in 2 years that we've used them for catering our work events. Everything is on time and fresh. They are extremely helpful and friendly. And, of course, everything tastes delicious and all the guys are happy! We will definitely continue to use them for all our work meetings and functions.

Was greeted IMMEDIATELY and helped quickly. A cashier named Madelyn was very patient and helped my picky, almost deaf grandpa decide what to order. She checked to make sure the food didn't have onions which he hates, and actually asked what salsa we wanted instead of just throwing in a random bag. Nice to see someone my age who actually cares about her job and the people she's serving. Keep it up Turlock!

Not sure why it's asking me to rate the atmosphere, fast foot is fast food, but as far as food goes, this El Pollo Loco makes the BEST stuffed carnitas quesadilla

Clean great food and the staff do an excellent job. While I was there I had the displeasure of seeing a Karen yelling at the young gentleman from te drive thru she was a walk in costumer but kept telling this young man that he refused to give her the Receipt for her order he very politely told her he was working the drive thru but she just yelled he never once lost his cool. I thanked him for being kind to this crazy Karen

I ordered Felafel Pita, and had the white bean soup as my side dish. My friend ordered Felafel salad. Both were tasty and fresh. Service was unbeatable. Server answered questions and was patient while we decided. I ordered Steak Pita with fries - take out for my son at home. He said it was delicious!! I didn't think to take pictures. I ate it all before I could even think about it. 😋

We had to drive through on a road trip. We ordered dark meat legs and thighs 16 piece chicken. First comment is the chicken is delicious and we ate it over the next couple days. Second, it is expensive but it was worth the price because of the flavor. The people that work there were very nice, attentive and helpful.

Rare for me to give fast food 5 stars, but eating here at least you have options for food that tastes like it's not necessarily fast food. Lots of healthy options, spicy things are actually pretty spicy, chicken always tastes fresh, great if you like avocado that's for sure. The birria impressed me as far as it coming from a drive thru fast food place, my expectations were low but I was pleasantly surprised.

What to say about El Pollo Loco. Great service, good food and a price you can't beat at a fast food place. $14 for two people. Go any place else and it's 30 or 40 for two people. Clean place too. Good job. Gotta go. See ya.

The lines are long in the drive through, but the food is great. I've gone to this location for years, and lately the same menu items are tasting different or not made the same. I'd still go here though because the food is fresh and the staff are nice. Their green guacamole salsa is to die for. Best salsa around.

Always good and satisfying Mexican style cuisine, for fast food that is. I've never been disappointed here! Tasty flame grilled Chicken with homemade salsas. Staff is friendly and efficient and polite.

Great service. The food is excellent and they are always hustling to get you your meal. The drive thru is a bit of a hit or miss. It's a big hit if you are one of the first two cars in line. It's a miss if you are third or later. Don't forget to download the app and scan your receipts for free food coupons or major discounts.

Hands down best pollo loco location!!!! I always get the best service at this location!! I have gone several times before closing a they still let me order really nice employees. Definitely recommend it here.

This is my favorite EPL location! The manager here is so kind. He walks around the dining room, asking people if they need anything. He brings salsas, napkins, water cups, things that you usually just have to just grab yourself at a fast food place...just to be nice! He just goes above and beyond and I super appreciate that. I've also had an issue with an order (that was TOTALLY my fault for ordering wrong) and he fixed it for me without hesitation or blaming me, even though we both knew it was my fault. He could have made me pay again or reorder. The employees are also kind. Great customer service all around, and it definitely starts from the top. Besides that, the food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are perfect. They're always consistent here!

The food here always tastes fresh and delicious. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Occasionally they get my order wrong, but it's quickly and happily corrected with no questions asked. The only slightly annoying thing is, when trying to place my order at the counter, the almost constant and loud banging noise from the kitchen when the cooks are hacking up the cooked chicken into their various parts. At my age, it's hard for me to hear someone talking over loud background noise. I also feel like I can't talk loud enough over the banging noise to be heard by the cashier. But again, only slightly annoying. But everything else is great!

Plenty of parking, very quick and efficient drive thru. I stop here often and haven't had a bad experience yet. Clean bathrooms and dining area although would be nice if they had some outdoor seating. Chicken is prepared well, I especially love the chicken avocado quesadilla . During the winter they make a delicious chicken corn chowder This location is just 2 minutes off the 99 freeway, with gas, groceries, and other food choices nearby

My Goodness. . . It was one of my favorite and complete meals for me and my grandkids, Original chicken combo bowl, I paid only $40.00 for the 5 of us.

The food is always fresh and hot. I did want to take advantage of the family 8 piece for $20 . It typically comes with legs and thighs I wanted some white meat. I confirmed we were getting white meat However I paid for the regular 8 piece $9 more had It been explained that the family deal at $20 cannot be changed I would have saved myself to $9 stayed with the original offering.

Traveling & stopped for something more healthy than fast food. I had the chicken tortilla soup & guacamole and chips. We also ordered a poblano quesadilla, a 8 piece thighs/leg's with beans & rice. It was all pretty tasty although the soup had too much of an herb taste.

The food can be a hit and miss. Sometimes the chicken will be fresh and off the grill, other time it can be dry and sitting for hours. Also you really need to ask for salsas or Pico de Gallo here, even if you buy two 12 piece family meals. Other than that when the food is fresh and off the grill it's amazing!!

One of the easier places to get a healthier meal, the chickens a bit dry but they have a salsa bar you can dump on your food to help out. Service has always been decent prices are moderate and what you'd expect.

For fast food in the area, I always enjoy going here. Their chicken is just good, and so I usually get a couple drumsticks or thighs and then something else off the menu like soup or salad or tacos..

This El Pollo Loco location certainly deserves four stars. Rarely do I give any product or restaurant five stars, but this restaurant came really close. This is not the first time I have eaten at this location. The service has been good each visit. There is no need to give specific details, because in my opinion, the store is highly recommended.

This was my first time eating at this establishment and the food was well prepared for my liking. I enjoyed the chicken tacos with some salsa and avocado and a squeeze of lemon juice paired with rice and beans on the side.I appreciate the dinning area being exceptionally clean. I would have loved to have seen more smiling faces from staff and crew members; that always feels more welcoming as a guest.

The young lady on the register very friendly, helpful, with a smile she was greeting customers. The food was good. There was a bit of a problem with their rice. It was old or not cooked well. My mom wanted to change for something else as her side order. 1 of the employees was telling my mom she would have to pay extra. For exchange. I don't believe that when we us, customers are not satisfied we bring it to there attention. Manager was listening to the complain , everything was handle in the proper manner. Thank you.

Pollo Fit menue is great for if you need a keto menu. I'm disappointed they removed the keto friendly burrito, and only have the soup and the salad (which are good!) however, the burrito was great for while on the go.

Lots of new and quiet stuff. Everybody seem forcefully friendly. It gives you the sense that they do not know what they are doing, but they are doing a good job! My order was accurate and well portioned. The only thing I was not pleases with was the shrimp. I was not as freshly cooked. It was cold n shewy. Other than that it was a good experience!!

It was better than I expected. The tortillas were soft, the flavor good, and the guacamole salsa was good too. Pico de gallo needed more picante for my taste, but overall. Was good for $5.39. can't beat that!

This is a crazy busy place that simply not kept very clean anymore unfortunately The food is good the service can be confusing and you have to ask for things that they forget to put in.

I made an online order and when I got there the 2 orders of churros was not with my order. When I went back they said they were out. I showed them my receipt where it showed that they charged me for them so I asked them for a refund for the items that I did not receive but was charged for. They said they were unable to refund me because it was an online order. Finally after some discussion they took down my number and said I would get a call from the manager. I have yet to hear from them.

Portions are ok. Service is freindly. Location kept clean. Cost is fair. Flavor was very bland, ckicken is dry, just is that the chicken lacks the taste you would expect from grilling.

Good food, and fast service, but make sure to double check your order. Got a 2 piece meal, and had them replace the wing for another breast, and get home only to find that they didn't do it, and gave me a wing.

Love the chicken! The wait is kind of long, and they still have problems getting your order right. I had to tell the drive thru attendant, on four occasions which salsa I wanted and they still didn't get it right. Missed my drink and put the blame on me. Just not paying attention to detail.

The food is good but the family meals 16 piece chicken for sure doesn't feed 7-8 people. The sides beans & rice are too small. And the salsa are in more smaller cups.

OK if you are looking for chicken. Lot of their side dishes are very very bland. Not much seasoning is used at all! Always a line at their drive thru so someone likes it. One item that actually is pretty good? Their salads!

It was just ok overall restaurant was untidy borderline dirty everything needed a wipe down. Cashier called us then had a technical problem and intead of the next cashier helping is because technically we were next ..we had to stand there and watch the 3 people behind us in line get waited on while the computer rebooted. I also like the dressing alot but was told I need to poney up .43 more cent to my 9 dollar salad so I could have enough dressing for my whole salad. Chicken was dry, my moms order was burned and wrong. So all around I was dissatisfied and disappointed and next time I'll go get 2 regularly hamburgers from Mc D's and save my self a couple of bucks too. It will a while before I go back to that location iat the very leaat.

Customer satisfaction is not great. I went thru drive thru on easter and ordered a two $20 family meals, I asked for 1 piece of white meat in one of them and was told it would be $34 for extra white piece in my meal and not $20. Which I think is ridiculous.. Was in a hurry so I said forget it and got all dark meat instead. Why is a wing or breast so much extra..!?!?!?

Not really a fan of this place. Their menu is boring and the chicken (their specialty) is usually dry. The service is slow and occasionally rude. I've been told more than once that I'm not allowed to order more than 5 chicken legs. I explain that I have a party of 4 people that would each like 3, but NO, customers are limited to 5 per order. If this is the policy, I'm not sure why they don't post it on the menu. If it isn't their policy, why are their employees telling people that?

The chicken was so small we weren't even sure if it was chicken the drumsticks was the size of a finger! And for the for the four piece meal was 17.99 the chicken salad was was mostly chunks of lettuce and it also was expensive. It's not worth eating there anymore. Poor quality food.

We always enjoyed El Pollo Loco felt like a good alternative for fast food but lately it has not been good. The lettuce in the salad taste old and they always forget my churros. To night they also forgot our salad dressing. I guess you need to check before you go. Will not be going back for awhile. This has happened to many times.

I am definitely not please coming at the Pollo loco at this location. The kitchen is a mess and the preparation table is horrendous. This is not including the use of my online app when the offer said for three dollars more I could upgrade to mix. I’m trying to eat healthy but it appears that I’m stuck with the fatty meats that came with this meal. Service went bad unfortunately. The acting manager Juanita was rude and wouldn't honor her employee telling the customer about a special they had then she reluctantly gave the head store manager's name for a complaint. Store 3527 in Turlock is a must avoid as far as service goes. Save yourself the headache and go to another business that sells Mexican food in town, plenty of them. After they are rude the hide from the camera and ultimately they forgot items in my sale. Terrible. I won't use them anymore.

Every time I go here, they forget something. This time it was the tortillas!..Check your bags, even if its tied at the top.. because it usually is..check. We usually enjoy pollo Loco, just not this location.

Yesterday a friend of mine went to pollo loco for us because we have COVID. We ordered $50 of pollo loco, however the food was extremely salty. Mind you that I go to the pollo loco many times and the food has never tasted this salty before. I called this morning to try to get a refund and the manager would not give us a refund unless we returned the food that potentially has been exposed to Covid. I really don’t understand how a manager could be so nieve and have no empathy! I have been going to pollo loco all of my life and will never go to a pollo loco again!

I stopped in around 3:30 PM last Monday and it was raining. I went inside and stood at the counter for quite some time before I was even acknowledged. It seemed like all of the workers were handling the drive-through and ignoring the front counter. It took a while to get my food and then after I started eating, I went back up to the counter to get some sauce and could not get anyone’s attention AGAIN. I went back to my seat without my sauce. I was very disappointed that they didn’t have someone that stayed at the counter to help customers.

I ordered a two piece meal and my chicken was literally in a small plastic bag like they just threw it in like that no plate no nothing. I asked for a mash only NO GRAVY and they put gravy on my mash. The coleslaw had a weird texture and color to it. Everything in my order was messed up. DISSAPOINTED.

Beware of buying gift cards from Turlock Pollo Loco. They are unable to print receipts when you use your card and supposedly cannot check the balance because of a so called new system. This card was purchased in May so it hasn’t been that long. Manager Olga was of no help at all

We had two combo meals; one with two drumsticks and the other with two thighs. All four pieces of chicken were very small and DRASTICALLY over cooked. None of the four pieces were worth eating. We've never had a bad meal at Pollo Loco but these two meals were so bad that it'll be a long time before we go back.

Pretty disappointing to order a simple three tacos Al carbon meal only to pull up to the window and the employee didn’t have my order on his order list. I placed my order again and paid for my meal and I was asked to park in front of the building to wait for my order. It didn’t take them to long to get it out, but once I got home I noticed I only had “two tacos” not “three tacos”! The third taco had no meat just the tortillas themselves. They literally rushed my order and ripped me of. Also there was only three of us in drive through so not sure why they couldn’t meet the Pollo Loco standards?!

I work for a big office and when I order it tends to be catering. The food in general is really good but they tend to forget big portions of my food every time I order, and never give utensils for the items I perches. all I'm saying is that they need to be sure that all the items are in the bag before giving them to the delivery guy.

The new birria tacos had little to no flavor they didn’t taste like birria. However the worst part of my experience was the customer service, the cashier who took my order was very rude and would easily get annoyed whenever we would ask her something. The place was so dirty the trash cans were filled to the top.Never back to this place.

I was gifted a 35.00 gift card and only used it twice. When I went to use it for the 2nd time I was told I had to pay out of pocket. Come to find out I was shorted 7.59. I filed a complaint with corporate about 2 weeks ago no response. Don't buy Pollo Loco gift cards who knows if you'll get what you paid for.

Went today and got a double chicken bowl for Lunch all I did was ask for no rice and tell me why I got barely any chicken and 99 percent beans (mind you in the picture I already ate everything else just wanted to show how much beans was left even after taking a couple bites of beans) why couldn’t the drain the beans first ?!

I ordered 8 pieces of chicken to take home and eat. Not just a couple pieces were bad, ALL of them were dry & over cooked. I'm very disappointed in this location.

I order from here frequently, but today on Monday March 24th, as I was over halfway through my burrito, I found a light brown hair inside my burrito. This couldn’t have been my own hair because mine is dark brown. This is a huge violation of food safety and security and is extremely disgusting.

The lady cleaning also made my food and drink apparently, my drink tasted like bleach so I just tossed it. Afterwards I noticed bleach stains on my shirts from where I wiped off the precipitation on the cup... I called and all they could say is sorry, and they'll let her know to change her gloves...... Then went home to find out they gave me yesterday's tortillas as they are as hard as a rock! Come on man.... How do you mess up on steamed tortillas? So unless you need your throat sanitized and need some Passover tortillas I would recommend a pass at this place.

Today we went to El Pollo Loco for lunch and we took advantage of their $5 combo Chicken deals. I must say that I was rather let down and disgusted by my lunch. There was no quality assurance on my lunch and I had to throw more than half of it away. Two mostly burnt chicken taquitos, the third was kind of edible and tasted like fried grease. Wasted my money and lunch time today thanks El Pollo Loco.
