Greatest chain restaurant there ever was. What makes the chicken so damn good!? 😍😍😍😍 Great for loosing weight. Im down 12lbs only eating here
Always Has Good Warm Food When I Go
I’ve been eating Pollo Loco for years. I recently craved this food and ordered in. In all the years eating at Pollo Loco their food has not been compromised for taste. Still delicious. Still fresh. Still prepared with pride.
This place was wonderful I was kinda concerned because of the review but it recently got a new owner. The place has really changed, it is so much more clean the staff is really friendly and the food was really good I asked for my chicken well done and it was toasted so good and the flavor was out of this world!!! I will definitely be going back again now that this place has done a 360.
The employee Rosa is an amazing worker and always gets my order correct! She needs a raise Asap! No Rocky. I'm only going back because of her. She's like a Chicken Goddess and brings energy to that restaurant. I'd consider her the goat of fast food, and above Michael Jeffrey Jordan in terms of GOAT status In their own profession.
The cashier mel was very sweet and the food was good. I was in the drive-thru when my car suddenly started to smoke and catch on fire, Mel did a backflip out the window with a fire extinguisher in her hand and put it out of fire before anything could go wrong. She then gave me my double chicken bowl, it was very yummy. Thank you to Mel and her great cooking abilities.
I was exhausted 😴 after long hours at work plus driving home 25 minutes and very hungry 😋 I have dubbed chicken tostada . Mmmmmmm one of the best meals ever. Fresh and delicious 😋
I'm never one to really leave reviews anywhere but the last two times I've gotten Pollo loco has been in this location because it's close to my gym that's in the same little plaza (Crunch) and I've been getting their classic chicken burrito. The first time I got it I was shocked at how big and fat it was, I was not able to finish it all! I thought all El Pollo Loco's were the same so when I stopped by one in Santa Ana today and got the same chicken burrito i was shocked at how small this one was. I was like what the heck??? Anyways, the point of this review is to say you guys are doing great at not being stingy with your food and your burritos are awesome

I was only here to pick up food for my boss; she had no complaints. The people at the counter were very nice, they seemed happy in the cooking area, and the food was done quickly. It wasn't very clean inside, but it was DIRECTLY after when the lunch rush would have been. The bathroom was terrifying -- please install lock, fill tissues, and get rid of spider.

I ordered a chicken burrito. It tasted old. I was super hungry and ate it. But wow it was terrible.
Eaten at this location twice now and both times my mac and cheese was watery and chicken could've been cooked longer. Chicken isn't bad, just looks like it was baked rather than fire-grilled. I recommend to keep it on the grill a little longer. And mac and cheese definitely needs to be thicker. Also, had to ask for my churro to be properly seasoned. Barely sprinkled any sugar on there, luckily the cashier was a nice young lady who added more for me.

I should know better than to expect good quality from this chain. They consistently offer substandard food, smaller portions, higher costs and bland tasting food. I bought the double meat chicken bowl and I’m still trying to figure out how much chicken one gets with the regular portion. Also I thought there were no beans in the bowl because they were divided in the bowl. The salad dressing was watered down and with extra Pico de gallo, save the calories and have a better tasting salad. Orrrrr… go to a smaller non-chain and get better quality and bang for your Buck.

Nice staff but their consistency is extremely lacking. They are always "out of" the classic crunchy taco, no matter what time of day it is. I stopped there this morning and ordered chicken and 2 crunchy tacos. There were 4 customers dining in and she said " we ran out of those". My salad was wilted with very little chicken in it so bottom line; that was our LAST VISIT to El Pollo Loco, PERIOD!
Manager was rude, rude taking order at drive thru, this was my chicken avocado burrito ...with no chicken ...there should be a sad face rating next to the “1 star” ...a star is happy ...there was nothing happy of my experience... they also mixed Dr Pepper into my coke... but I didn’t ask for that

Worst service EVER and will never return. Placed a drive-through order and asked for the dressing for the chicken tosada salads for the family. Reminded them to add to the bag as well as the chips for my daughter. I should have checked my bag, but failed to do so and you would think they would be better at service, but NO. This location is the worst at least at the Tustin or Orange locations get will get what you pay for, and the service is so better because the staff does not get annoyed when you order. Will never return as they are not a single penny as their service and accuracy on orders suck.
This is the 3rd time in one week that I get home and my order is completely wrong. And terrible. It seems like they are giving the old nasty meat and chicken in the drive through. Everything is disgusting. And once again. ..I'm missing two burritos, I'm missing dressing for the salads, the meat in the burritos in old and dried out. Hard as a rock. They once again forgot all gravy for potatoes. Ugh!!!!!
We visited this place to eat this Sunday and the personnel seem to have bad customer service, I asked them for sauce and they only gave me one and I had to ask to give me more. I was seeing that they don't like to be asked for extra sauces. I guess they closed early or something but they told us to get out and we were still eating, for what I know no restaurant should kick u out if you are still eating no matter what. So what you think I should rate this pollo loco pollo 🐔. Nah not cool coming to have a bad experience.. this was the only time I was here I'm not coming here anymore.
Absolutely horrible customer service!!! This place is ran by maniacs. The managers shouldn't be working in customer service and the chicken tinga taste like Raccoon Elbows!! However, the Beans were very good. The mashed potatoes werent mixed fully and I got a bite full of powder. The avocado sauce was super watery and this one young lady was beyond rude when I called and complained. Never go to this restaurant!!! I rather eat taco bell wings than eat anything here.
I've gotten food poison from this place 3 times. I'm done. Not coming back. They under cook the chicken. Seen two guy in another table send there chicken back because it was under cooked and they called there order out as well done. No you just don't cook the chicken. Got the smallest thigh I've ever seen. There salads are the only thing I haven't gotten sick from. Also they never clean the inside. The sets are always dirty.
I’ve had so many issues with this Location because I don’t think they’ve ever gotten my order right. But they’re the one closest to where I live so I keep coming. Today it was kind of the last straw because they irritated me so much. I had a coupon in my app for a free side. I told the girl at the front that I wanted to use it and ask her how I can do it in Store but she looked at me blankly and said she didn’t know. She put the order in but it didn’t work scanning it so I Asked her if I should order it on my phone instead she Looked at me blankly again and said I could try but that really didn’t know so I tried ordering it in my app but the coupon didn’t work there either. I asked for help. Again nobody knew. She got the manager involved. She Looked at me blankly and said didn’t know. All I wanted was to redeem the free side that I obviously had available to me under available rewards. Somebody at the store should know how I could do that. Apparently it was showing as already redeemed but I obviously had not redeemed it yet. The manager just stared at me as blankly as the other girl did and just said well I don’t know we can’t do anything That I just have to pay for the side. It’s not that hard. I used to be a manager myself. It’s not that hard to say sorry for the inconvenience We will take care of you I’ll make sure that you get your free side. She had no inclination of wanting to do that. She just looked at me and said well I don’t know we can’t do anything I don’t know what’s going on we can’t do anything and I got so frustrated and told her all I’m asking for is my free side. Eventually she agreed to do it “this one time”. It’s not like I’m trying to take advantage of them and am going to keep coming back and trying to do the same thing. It’s Obviously an issue I’ve never run into before and that I just happen to be having right now and it would’ve been so much easier if she would’ve just been accommodating from the beginning. Why does it have to be so hard for some just to be a good manager and do the right thing. Instead of insisting on sitting there arguing with the customer as if the customer did something wrong. Literally so annoying.
I have been coming to this El Pollo Loco for years with no problems, Until recently, they hired A guy that’s like 18 or 19 years old. He always messes up on the orders, not putting the chips not putting the sauces, And not providing utensils. A couple days ago, I asked Him for the sauces and the other stuff But then after he gave me the items He mean mugged me. I reported it to the management Liz she apologized and said that she will talk to him and that she will give me 50% off, but when I went in person, they did an honor the discount when I asked for the seven dollars a night I sent burrito meal special, which they replied that it’s only offered through the app which other locations they offer it in the store as well. That same guy was still there again and he continued mad dogging me, and didn’t even apologize regarding last time. I have contacted corporate and waiting to hear back from them, All I know is that this will be the last time that I will go to this location even though it’s close to my home, Over the years they have Become very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I've been to other El Pollo Locos, but this location is by far the worst. Waited 15 MINUTES for them to make Mac N' Cheese because they did not have any. Mac N' Cheese isn't anything over-the-top. It's just Mac N' Cheese. And it's ON THE MENU. If it's on the menu, they're supposed to have it. And to make it worse, when I arrived home, I realized they did not even give me what I paid for. They forgot the tortillas to my family meal. Also, when I ordered the "tortilla soup" it did not look ANYTHING like the picture. Sure, pictures are deceiving, but this soup honestly just looked like water and spice. That's it. And this isn't the first time I've received horrible service. I thought "hey, maybe they've changed their ways." Nope. It's still horrible. While I was waiting, they didn't even offer anything to accommodate the customer. Very bad customer service. Not coming here ever again.
