The place has a local ambiance, and the food, which I personally ordered as grilled sea bass, was delicious. Although the menu doesn't have prices, you can ask the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. Overall, the food is very tasty, fresh, and different from what you'd find in the city. I highly recommend it.
AN UNFORGETTABLE GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE... EXQUISITE SEASONING..... A GREAT VARIETY OF DISHES, SERVICE FROM THE OWNER AND FAMILY THAT IS MORE THAN EXCELLENT...... WITH THE PLUS OF BEING ABLE TO ENJOY YOUR FAVORITE DRINK OR COCKTAIL COMFORTABLY LYING IN A HAMMOCK IN THE WATER......... IT IS REALLY WORTH VISITING THIS PLACE
Excellent place for breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend their delicious fish tacos; they're very well seasoned. The lady who always serves you is very friendly.
A great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a delicious mojarra sarandeada...
Our boatman took us to this restaurant. He told us it was one of the best in Chacahua and they had fresh seafood. We ordered octopus Mexican style and garlic sauce. The Mexican style was delicious, but the garlic sauce was very small. The Mexican style gives you the impression that the amount is larger because of the tomato and onion, but they don't actually give you much octopus. The presentation of the dish isn't very appetizing at first glance. The orange juice and coconuts seemed very expensive to me, even more expensive than in Zicatela. A beer delivered from a distance is cheaper than a coconut cut on the side. The bathrooms aren't clean, and what puzzled me was that the man was opening the clams at the entrance to the bathroom, using the bucket they use to flush the toilet and rinsing his clams with the dirty water from the tank. The service is provided by the lady's children; they are young, teenagers, and therefore have no real experience as waiters.
Fresh food, decent taste. But prices are way too high (menu doesn't have prices btw 🚩). It was $40+ USD ($800+ pesos) for lunch for two.
The food was very average. The guide told us it was one of the best places in the area, but the place was just plain. The menu had no prices, very expensive for what you get.
We were told the better food is across the lagoon, but our experience was not good. I kept being asked by someone working there if I’m like Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan or Jet Lee… maybe three times? The small red snapper was just okay, but it took awhile even though we were only one of two parties there. Saw what the other family was eating, I don’t get why they serve and eat turtle eggs when so many are endangered? Once someone came by to sell other fried fish tacos I got those to actually fill me up. I wish we had actually looked for a better restaurant on the other side that was recommended by a tour guide.
They give you a menu without prices, tell you a price, and then try to charge you whatever they want. Serious scammers.
They made us wait over an hour for our drinks (they weren't doing anything in the kitchen), we ordered food but it never arrived. We decided to find another place to eat and they charged us 200 pesos for the table because "we didn't order anything" even though we ordered about 500 pesos worth of drinks. This place is a perfect example of how unfair locals can be to tourists. Terrible service.
