I never expected the best ramen I’d ever taste to come from a small, tucked-away town up north. I ordered the miso chicken ramen and my fiancé had the filet mignon bowl—both were phenomenal. The broth was rich, savory, and perfectly layered, and the noodles had that ideal spring and chew. They’re made in-house with heirloom wheat from the Mendocino Grain Project, all locally sourced from Ukiah. The chef even crushes his own turmeric—you can taste that precision and mastery in every bite. The space feels relaxed yet sophisticated, with a creative energy that matches the craft behind the food. I’ve tried ramen all over Japantown and San Francisco, but this one stands above the rest—my favorite, hands down.

Out of towner here who went to Ramen Cubed to celebrate a birthday and was extremely impressed with the service and of course the ramen! I chose the Pork cube ramen and it was gorgeously displayed and even tastier than it looked. (perfectly cooked egg too) Plenty of meat in this large portion that I could barely finish but couldn't stop eating due to its taste. The staff was kind and charming and even though you order at the counter, they checked in on us often to make sure we were pleased. The atmosphere is casual yet sharp and very clean. If I lived in town this would be a regular stop. May have to travel back just for the Ramen.

Chef Vee was awesome! First she made me the ahi app it was very balanced with the chimichurri sauce, and the micro greens on the side were very balanced with the flavor of the dressing. Next, I tried to ceviche very nice combination of citrus and balance of flavor . Shrimp were very well prepared too in the dish Last I tried, the Yomi sake which was very nice. Thank you Chef Vee!

I would give 6 stars if I could. This is easily one of the best meals I've ever had in Ukiah. The tonkatsu ramen was nourishing and delicious. The pork belly was impeccably seasoned and the chili crisp was a welcome addition. Add to that a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and clean bathroom, and you truly have a gem. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

I've visited Ramen Cubed several times with my wife and our two boys, and it never disappoints. The experience is consistently excellent. Tonight, the two workers on duty—Aiden and Danny—were fantastic. They showed great professionalism, attention to detail, and genuinely added to a wonderful dining experience. Soooo goooooood! Harder ever get to go to Ukiah but i’m so glad we stopped in before we left! Will definitely be back when we can! Pork was so tender, noodles were amazing and flavors were incredible! Felt so good on my stomach which is pretty sensitive. Atmosphere was really relaxing and cook was so nice!

Easily some of the best ramen I’ve ever had- great hand made noodles, rich broth, fresh veggies, perfectly cooked eggs. A low-key, modern atmosphere. And the service is always excellent. On my last visit I got a filet bowl to go, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, both Danny and Clarissa were fast, efficient and full of smiles. Thank you!!!

That was maybe the best bowl of ramen I’ve had in my life. Holy yummy. I got the salmon with chicken broth and it was rich and creamy with the perfect mix of flavor. The place is super cute, the music was great and the service was excellent. I can’t wait to come back and try all the other flavors. What a nice surprise to find in downtown Ukiah. Clearly the chef knows what they are doing! Highly recommend!!

Place is always squeaky clean and the service is fast and of course the food is always great and fresh too. Aeden and Danny were my chefs tonight and you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. They seem to hire a lot of students which is amazing since it teaches them a good work ethic. If you want to support a local restaurant that is improving our small community or if you just want some bomb food, definitely check it out!

Truly the best ramen I’ve ever had, and our family eats a lot of ramen. My personal favorite was the Tonkatsu. Rich, creamy, and the house-made noodles were amazing. They sell their noodles (pasta and ramen) so you can take them home and make your own creations. The pasta made our meatball night at home 10 times better. Also, Chef Taylor is a gem. Ukiah is truly lucky to have this spot! Don’t wait, go now!

We visited Cubed last night and the ramen was good quality and wonderful! There was only 2 guys working the entire restaurant and the quality and experience was not wavered. The staff was kind and made sure that our gluten free needs were met! The only critique is that the Thai tea was earthy and tasted quite healthy(kinda like carrots?) it must have been a weird batch but I’m sure this will improve next time we visit!

We visited Cubed last night and the ramen was good quality and wonderful! There was only 2 guys working the entire restaurant and the quality and experience was not wavered. The staff was kind and made sure that our gluten free needs were met! My nephew got the seared salmon on a bed of salad. And he also really enjoyed his. We didn't get to try there in House made Ramen. but we will definitely be back.
