this place is DANGEROUSLY good. the woman behind the counter was so delightful and so kind. we bought about a half dozen different kinds of donuts and a hot cheeto cream cheese bagel. one of the donuts was filled, and she filled it fresh as we bought it. the hot cheeto cream cheese bagel was life changing, you have to try it. there was a special going on for green thai tea so we got a bunch of those and even the people in the family who don’t usually like green tea loved it. best donut shop i’ve ever been to

So freaking good! There were quite a few options, it was all reasonably priced, and they fill donuts as you purchase them, so the donuts are not squishy. It was a really special treat for us. We got a pesto-bagel breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. Very friendly staff were happy to explain how everything worked and get us donuts and food that we would really enjoy! Will be visiting in the future!

I think this is the best donut shop I've ever been to! Good selection of donuts and breakfast sandwiches! My wife and I had the ham, egg & cheese croissant, and the ham, egg & cheese bagel and they were so tasty and fresh! We also got some donuts for the road and they were also fresh, soft and so delicious! Prices were good too! A good value plus good food; things that are so hard to find these days! I'm gonna try to stop in every time I make the trip to San Francisco.

Got a room next door and this place was the best part of our stay! My girls got donuts for a late night snack and the next morning we went in for a cinnamon roll and a mocha frap that was way better than any other coffee I've had in years!! When I opened my donut bag I discovered a bunch of donut holes, one of which was my baby boys first donut, HE LOVED IT! TY!!

Great little dount + shop in Ukiah, CA! Best donuts 🍩 and tried the blt bagel 🥯 it's just as delicious! Always friendly, clean, timely and cheap yet delicious! Every time I get donuts they always add in free glazed donuts holes! Their apple fritters are incredible 💜 Sunnys donuts

It’s really a pleasure to go into here to see her. Despite the location she does an excellent job running the shop. Would recommend if you are looking for coffee, donuts, or a light lunch/sandwich. Based off the donut holes alone this place is a Best-Of. Cinnamon twist- giant cinnamon twist! Unltra moist. Good amount of cinnamon but would benefit from more. Again, the glaze here is fantastic. 10/10 donut. Apple fritter- Top fritter. Near perfect crisp edges. Moist soft center. The glaze here is top notch. A great amount of apple filling with a good flavor. The donut dough is buttery and sweet. This is absolutely a top fritter for me. Chocolate sprinkle- Solid donut! Very light and fluffy, very Mary-Lee esque. The chocolate frosting is really good.

I stopped in because I noticed the "Open 24 Hours" sign in the window, and the place has an inviting hometown look. Sunny's Donuts is a gem, I met Maria, who has been working here for 11 years, she has a smile that is sweeter than the donuts she makes and serves. I bought a twister, and a turnover, and then Maria gave be a blueberry donut. I decided to sit a spell to drink my coffee and enjoy my donut, when in the space of under 30 minutes at least 8 customers strolled in, one by one, no rush, and Maria greeted each one by their first name. Oh, and did I mention that the donuts, and the coffee are wonderful, my favorite was the blueberry.

The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and doughnuts are always fresh. They're super generous and give their left overs to the community food bank and other places. Their croissants and bagels are amazing. The cream cheese bagel with hot cheetos is the best! One of my son's favorite places to go💕

This place does NOT disappoint. You can custom your bagel 🥯 The Red Bull mixed flavored drinks are fire af. Customer service is amazing and they give you a beeper so you can wait in the peace of your vehicle! When they say it’s hot chocolate, straight tf up hot chocolate. Please give this place a shot. You will not regret it.

Great place, sanitary & Quick moving. You can get dairy free Boba in alot of different flavors including avocado and horchata. Would love to see them expand to have more gluten free and vegan options. Always fast and friendly service that goes the extra mile. Going here every-time i pass by is a highlight of my work trips.

The workers are very friendly and informative. A few days ago I came in for a cup of coffee and I couldn’t help but notice their chocolate, chocolate, chocolate so I asked about it. They said the best time to come in and get them is around 6 am when they’re freshly made. I come again a few days later a few minutes after 6am to give it a try and omg it is to die for so creamy, chocolatey rich, warm, and full of chocolate. As a added bonus they even include a few donut balls with your purchase. If you ever find your self in the Ukiah area I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come in again

First, they had me at coffee and donuts...but then I saw boba and my favorite can of thai tea! And sandwiches!! Very fast, very friendly, clean, efficient, delicious!!! Definitely coming back, the environment and quality is amazing!!

Plus every other kind of donut you can imagine. The cinnamon rolls are delicious! Another favorite of mine is anything with their maple icing be a it’s made perfectly. The staff are always friendly and service is quick. Honestly, if I decide I want a donut, this is where I go. 4 Stars is a high rating for me because, all places have room to grow. This place is not a disappointment, they have been in this town for at least as long as I have lived here and that has been 16+years. They had a 2nd locations for a time and served Chinese food too. We were sad to see that go.

Donuts were ok. Tasted like all other donuts. Son didn't like the strong maple flavor on the long john. They will fill donuts if you want. The raspberry filling was very good. Included seeds which I don't like. But the flavor felt very fresh and real.

24 hours. Donuts and REAL good ham and cheese croissants. The customer service is prompt, the prices for a dozen donuts are relatively low, and he even throws in a handful of donut holes every time. Exceptional customer service. And a wide variety of donuts to choose from. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by, you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Maria the owner is always greetings you with her geniune smile and she stuffs our bag with bunches of donut hole every time we were there I love coming on the way home from the gym. A lovely place for donut stop.

Normally love this shop but the last 3 times I have ordered in the last month or so I've received croissants instead of bagels and never received word from the store about being out of stock or offering a refund or another item.

There was no music or background sound, which made the space feel cold and uninviting. On top of that, there was a guy standing near the counter who kept staring at me while I ordered—not sure if he was a customer or staff, but it made the experience feel awkward and uncomfortable. Another thing to note: they have a $5 minimum for credit card purchases, which isn’t uncommon but can be inconvenient if you’re just popping in for a single item or drink. Be prepared to either add something else to your order or pay in cash if you’re under that threshold. The staff member behind the counter was polite and efficient, but overall, the shop just didn’t feel very welcoming. Between the lack of ambiance, the uncomfortable vibe, and the underwhelming pastry, I didn’t feel inclined to stick around or return soon. That said, if you’re just grabbing a fruit smoothie to-go, it may be worth a stop—especially for the blended options like the one I had. Owner very nice and polite. But ur donuts and bars are super full with oil. Like literally u see the oil dripping off the donut. Can U tell the guy to let them air dry for a bit. I bite into the donut and all I taste is the oil. I had to throw away the 3 donuts I got.

Lovely people and pretty good doughnuts. Worst ham and cheese croissant I've ever had. Stale store bought croissant with one tiny super thin piece of ham. Like why even have it on the menu if it's going to be so low effort?

This place totally bums me out. I used to love it here but slowly but surely it has been going down hill. Prices are super high, which I wouldn’t even mind because I know this Economy demands it… but Every time I go in there are flys everywhere. The walls are covered in filth dripping down the walls, generally just a gross place to be. The food is pretty ok, but how filthy it is in the front just makes you wonder how bad the places you can’t see are, where they make the food! I gave 2 stars because they do alright with their food and drinks.. but overall bad experience and I won’t be coming back. Clean up the store! Bug zapper. Maybe a can of paint…

Super disappointed!!! You can do better Ukiah. Here we are in the season of giving and this little donut shop could not sell me a cup of coffee because I was 12 cents short? What did that 12 cents cost you? A regular customer. Yes, I come in for custard filled maple bars, coffee regularly, and have had a good sampling of most of the bagel sandwiches as well. But on a morning I'm on foot walking my dogs, and stop in for a coffee and only have my change pouch with me, and then realize I'm 12 cents short, I was so confident the staff would be kind and say "no problem," that I figured I'd just drop in on a 31 degree morning and see if they'd make this small exception. Instead, they chose to refuse my $2.88 I had with me on the walk. So, low and behold I will deny them any future visits and take my donut interest to the north side of town and give my future business to Honey Fluff, where she's even so kind she feeds homeless people her day old donuts, and she knows the value of compassion. Not only is $3 expensive for a not so great cup of coffee, it doesn't even include a refill. McDonald's has much better coffee for a $1.65 and they honor a refill! I know you won't miss one patrons business Sunny's, but this is how I respond to being treated poorly. I write reviews for great service, and poor service. And I take my business elsewhere.
