Opiniones de Sake Sake Upland
This place was great servers were on it. If your in Upland area this place is a great place to grab a quick bit to eat. It's conveniently located off the freeway I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table.
Highly Recommend this place. The sushi is very fresh. Sushi chefs nice . Service is friendly . I will come back again. Than you!!
As a vegan it is always nice to find a sush place that has decent sushi. For the price and size of the rolls it is extremely reasonable! The staff is always so lovely when I place a phone order and come in to pick up, thank you <3
can't really comment on the service or atmosphere since I ordered to go.... but let me tell you this is my new go to spot. the food was great, went last friday late and eveything I got was delicious. 11 out of 10 fully reccomend. they have this Honey moon and Salmon lover sushi rolls that are a must.
Food is always fresh! Service is excellent;staff are very friendly and attentive to our requests.
The first time we came in it was slightly after dine in was closed so we got take out. I got a tuna tataki, baked salmon, and I love you rolls. All were great, but the tuna tataki was amazing! We returned for dine in a few days later and I got the tuna tataki again along with mango tango. Both were 10/10! Thanks to the delicious rolls and great experience from our server Lucy, this is now our favorite sushi place.
Awesome, place! A little pricey, you might think, but when you get the rolls, you quickly find out that the price vs. what you're getting is definitely worth it. The sushi rolls are big, but yet the rice to meat and veggie ratio is just splendid.
Sake Sake 2 Sushi is a delightful hidden gem for sushi lovers. Nestled in a cozy spot, this restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh and creative sushi options. The quality of the fish is consistently top-notch, with melt-in-your-mouth sashimi and flavorful rolls that go beyond the usual offerings. Their all-you-can-eat sushi menu is a great value, offering endless delicious options, from classic favorites like spicy tuna and California rolls to more adventurous combinations. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with friendly staff who provide attentive service without being intrusive. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or a first-timer, the chefs take great care in their presentation, making each dish visually appealing. Beyond sushi, they offer tasty appetizers, tempura, and teriyaki, so there's something for everyone. One standout feature is their wide selection of sake, which perfectly complements the meal. The overall experience at Sake Sake 2 Sushi is satisfying, with a great balance between quality and affordability. It’s an excellent spot for casual dining, date nights, or celebrating with friends, making it a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts in the area.
The sushi is ommygurrr so freaking delicioso I definitely recommend for anyone who has ever had a bad experience with sushi to come here and reconsider! I recommend the mango tango roll It’s so sweet and perfect!
This place is so good….it’s the only place I come for sushi. Some of our favorites are the Dinosaur Roll, Spicy Rockstar, & the California Dream. We got free egg rolls since we ordered 3 specialty rolls and they were also delicious. The edamame is also a must for an appetizer.
We had a craving for sushi and sashimi and heard food things about Sake 2 Sushi , so we thought why not give it a try. I am so glad we had lunch here, the food and service was outstanding. I forgot to write down the names of what we ordered (so sorry 😔). However you can tell by the pictures it was a glorious feast. The ingredients were fresh, the tempura was crisp and not greasy. Nothing was drowning in sauces and it was easy to find something for everyone to enjoy. Lunch specials are fantastic! Your bill will vary depending on what you order. 🍣🥢🍲 The place wasn't too small and I could easily get my giddy-up (aka wheelchair) to the table. I went during lunch, so I will go again to share navigating to a table during dinner time.👍♿ The customer service was very friendly and gave great suggestions for dishes. They were so sweet we even got a complementary roll and seaweed & cucumber salads.
Came here after a day of shopping and we were sure glad we did. The staff speak Japanese which is a good sign. We were greeted and shown to our table right away. The restaurant had a good size menu and it took us awhile before we ordered. What we did order tasted really good and was very large portions. We ordered sashimi plate - it was very fresh and the pieces were large. We also had a few rolls - rainbow roll, salmon avocado x2, and eel roll. All the rolls were a good size - sorry no pix as we gobbled it up. We also ordered 2 bento boxes - one with beef bulgogi and california roll and the other chicken teriyaki and tempura. Both boxes were so huge that we couldn't finish. And they were really good too. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It looks like dine in is until 930p while togo is until 1230a. Food was excellent. Place is bright and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
Been here a few times, lots of parking available, it is in a large shopping center. Always feel safe here, clean and well lit. Clean restaurant, good options, large menu. Plenty of seating never had to wait. Highly recommend, and will return. Good prices as well.
Great experience. Talented chef's and attentive staff. Spider roll is delicious, salmon skin hand roll is very tasty, start with a cucumber salad. Always a good choice
I love coming here. Good price for everything in this picture 34 bucks. The edamame is complementary and every one is very welcoming. One thing I will note is ordering through GrubHub. It's a hit and miss with the accuracy of time to deliver.
Very affordable lunch specials and low prices overall. Customer service was great. I loved my server.
My husband brought me for the 1st time, and I loved everything about it. Everything we ordered was delicious and well portion sized rolls. Will be coming back soon
Such a great place to eat...from individual meals ..to all you can sushi and a great little bar and dessert menu too

Stumbled upon this little place, and were so glad we did! Sushi is amazing with lots of options for every one in our group of 5. Our new Christmas sushi tradition??

They're only open till 9:00pm You can order take out from 9:00pm till 12:00am
The food and service are good, with typical sushi prices and nice lunch specials. The only downside is the atmosphere—it feels odd seeing merchandise piled next to customer tables. These items should be stored elsewhere, away from the dining area.
The service was good. The girl that was helping me out was nice. I had ordered food for a takeout the food in my opinion was really good. I enjoyed all of it. But what I didn't like was the portion of the sauce inside the food tray as you see in the picture that's the one that I got inside the tray. Barely anything inside I had to buy extra sauce that was actually filled more than the one that was in the tray, and that is the disappointing part. Because the trays are not what you would say cheap $15 for a meal give or take with no drink only to get skimmed on the sauce. The other part I didn't like was that the girl gave me 2 receipts and it also had the option to tip in my opinion, I don't see a reason to tip when I am ordering takeout. I would understand if I was eating there, but I wasn't, that is just my opinion.
Haven't been here since they moved, they still got it😎 delicious rolls, casual atmosphere, perfect lunch spot!
We love the sushi 🍣 here. They have a great variety and combinations in the Rolls. I particularly always order something with spicy tuna or salmon are my favorites with a little bit of jalapeños in it . My only suggestion will be the miso soup warmer longer and add more tofu but the flavor is good .

The food was good, but we had to keep asking for more tempura sauce, more Wasabi. The place wasn't the cleanest. The walls were dirty. They have a rolling island in the middle of where we were seated with supplies, didn't appear to be clean enough to my standards.
My favorite sushi place! 😊 lunch is more affordable than dinner because they have the lunch specials and their sushi is expensive but good , this place is clean and friendly.
Sushi was good as always. Was given the wrong order, by accident. This is one of my go to for pick up only. Not my favortie place to sit down and eat at.
I will say, things are changing. We come here often but I'll probably start switching it up. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but they are stingy! One soy sauce packet for two house rolls (extra charge for more), charging $2 extra for cream cheese (used to be a dollar)-- like I get it, but you guys aren't the only ones affected by inflation.$17 and some change for what you see in the pic. And no, I'm not hiding a drink.

Ordered Togo, have ordered the same rolls for years. Quality has been declining recently and today is last time we will order from here. The rolls fall very short of what you're paying for. Photos of "specialty rolls" shown are nowhere near what they're supposed to be. They just made spicy tuna rolls and tossed fish on top and threw sauces in the box and charged premium prices.
Bad Service 1st of all & after coming here for over a year this was the last time !!! On top of that my fired foods where burnt to a crisp !! I took it home & not even the dogs wanted to eat it. Absolutely terrible !!! There is to many other good locations around here for me to waste my time here again. Good Luck Everyone !!! Also all there servers speak English don't let them fool you. They choose not to talk to you or communicate as less as possible. Such Terrible Service !!!

Went there for first time. Had been recommended by family. Quite disappointed. Rolls were bland/mediocre. The server told us we were getting a couple of the most popular rolls but definitely don’t see what made them popular. A bit over priced considering literally all sushi spots offer some sort of special (happy hour/all you can eat…etc).

I had the worst experience today. I normally love this spot but today the sushi chef was extremely unprofessional and rude to the point I had to step in and say something and leave my food there. The sushi chef was yelling at our server today because my coworker and I requested to cancel a roll. He went on for about 5 min yelling at her from across the room and was pointing at our table while having a tantrum. I suggested our sweet server to leave and find a job else where, where they will appreciate her that was so unacceptable. & he still had the nerve to come to our table and tell us that she yelled at him first. Servers be careful if you’re applying here. They treat they’re employees horribly without a care if anyone is watching
Owner likes to grab and humiliate his servers publicly in front of everyone to see which is so uncalled for. The servers don’t get the tips the customers are leaving either. DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!!!
Witnessed the owner physically grabbing the waitress from the wrist and treating her awful. Horrible experience!
Ordered delivery via door dash. The Ramen was so dry it might as well have been cup of noodles. Spoke w/Jennifer...suggested would refund but, couldn't do it and I would have to take it up with Door Dash. Frequented this restaurant, very disappointing. Will not do business with this store again. Problem was food quality, not delivery. $70+ for today's order. Won't happen again with this store. Door Dash credit, $5 for an inedible dish. I would go to the store and challenge anyone there to eat it but, defeats the purpose of delivery. This store will not get anymore of our $. There are other great businesses to support.
I was really disappointed by how the cook treated the waitress during my visit today. He was rude and unprofessional, yelling at her in front of customers. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. I won’t be coming back.
Showed up at 9:50pm and the smell of this place was awful. Take out only past a certain time. Online doesn't say take out only after 9pm. I won't be coming back here again...
I’m a local who was planning to try this restaurant, but I’m pressing pause after reading several recent reviews describing a server being publicly scolded and even grabbed by the wrist, along with claims that servers don’t receive the tips customers leave. I wasn’t present for those incidents, so this isn’t a food review—it’s a consumer decision based on multiple public reports in the last few days and what they suggest about how this place is run. Whether every detail of those accounts is accurate or not, the picture they paint is troubling: • Public humiliation and physical contact: A dining room is a workplace. Managers should never berate staff in front of guests, and there is zero justification for putting hands on an employee. That’s unsafe, unprofessional, and the opposite of hospitality. • Tip handling and transparency: In California, gratuities are meant for the employees who serve customers. Owners and managers are not supposed to keep or skim tips, and any tip pool must be clearly explained and limited to eligible staff. When customers tip, they reasonably expect it to go to the people taking care of them. If the house has a different system, guests deserve plain-English disclosure. • Culture shows up in the dining room: When leadership normalizes shaming staff or keeping them in the dark about their pay, it hurts morale—and guests feel it. Great restaurants protect their teams, train privately, and praise publicly. What I hope to see from management (and what would change my rating): 1. A public response acknowledging the recent reviews—not a generic template—and an explanation of what happened. 2. A clear, posted tip policy: who participates, how tips are distributed, and explicit confirmation that owners/managers do not take any portion. 3. A no-touch, no-public-shaming policy, with training for supervisors and a third-party hotline so staff can report issues safely. 4. A good-faith gesture to the team (e.g., back pay if any tip handling was wrong, plus training and accountability going forward). For fellow diners: If you decide to visit, it’s reasonable to ask how tips are handled and to look for respectful interactions between management and staff. If you’re a worker who’s affected, you can speak with the California Labor Commissioner’s Office about tip/gratuity concerns and with local authorities or the state civil rights agency if there’s harassment or unwanted physical contact. I love supporting local restaurants—especially the people who make them run. I’ll happily update this review if management addresses these concerns with transparency and concrete changes. Until then, I’m choosing to spend my money where staff are treated with dignity.
The girl at the front was dismissive; she didn’t acknowledge my wife and me when we entered and acted as if she was too busy to provide us with proper service. Another girl had to come and bring us our order that we had placed. The woman who came in after us left because the girl in the front didn't acknowledge her either.
really disappointed with our visit. the ramen tasted like it came from a cup ramen, i might as well could have bought it from walmart. my pregnant wife asked if she can have thai tea without ice and they said they couldn’t do that? how hard is it to separate the ice from the thai tea? really odd experience overall. will not be coming back.
