I gave Amici’s a 5 star rating, not because it’s a high end restaurant, but for the casual type pizzeria, it’s really great. The service, start to finish is always excellent in the three times I’ve visited over the last few years. The food has consistently been delicious, hot, and served promptly, and the cost is fair and in line with what I expect. I live out of the area and come here to meet a friend for lunch who also isn’t from the area. We enjoy walking around the Nut Tree Plaza and doing a little shopping as part of our visit.
We always eat in or take out for my father’s birthday. Great food and customer service.
We really like paring a salad and a pizza. The staff is always friendly.
people working there are always pleasant and I love the Caesar salad salad. Great location
My friend and I have been stopping in here for years as a meeting place to enjoy a little time together. Not much has changed over the years. The food is still the same delicious food. We always seem to get a good quiet corner to be able to catch up on all that's been going on in our lives. We have never had a bad meal. I give it 5 stars because they have been consistent for many years and the food is good for a simple meal while out shopping at the Outlets.
They have the best pizza. Super thin and crunchy crust and unique toppings. The lemon wings are fantastic as well. I highly recommend Amici’s for lunch or dinner.
Great pizza and best iced tea in California! Gluten free pizza is pricey but they really take care to make sure there is no cross contamination...and it's really good! Highly recommend.
Ordered pizza for takeout while on the road and it was excellent, as always. Brought home a side order of meatballs and they were fantastic!
Whether I dine in or order take out my pizza is always delicious and as ordered! I definitely recommend!
First time at Amici’s—and it won’t be our last! We were recommended to try Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria, and it absolutely did not disappoint! We’ve been meaning to go for a while, but the timing was never quite right—until today, and we’re so glad we finally made it in. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, but there was a good, steady flow of people dining in, which is always a great sign. My husband ordered the “small” BBQ chicken pizza, which was surprisingly generous in size—definitely more like a large! He loved it, and I have to agree. I’ve tried BBQ pizza from Extreme Pizza before, but Amici’s really takes the win. The BBQ flavor is well-balanced—not too overpowering—and just all around delicious. I had the penne pasta with meat sauce. Honestly, it reminded me of spaghetti with penne noodles, but that’s totally on me—I picked it knowing it was a simple option, and it still tasted great. Next time I’ll probably try a different pasta just to mix things up. We also ordered the cheesy bread and WOW—so good! Gooey, flavorful, and definitely a must-try. The place is family friendly too, which was perfect for us. We saw other families with little ones dining nearby, and our server Liz went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She gave us great recommendations, made us feel really welcome, and her service truly made our first visit extra special. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back!
Really good Detroit style pizza ,service was good , I recommend this place the pizza was super...
Enjoyed the Cesar Salad the most. It is always so perfect. I've dining here for years and it never disappoints. Of course the pizza was delicious as well. The service was great too.
so it was hard to find a place that satisfied his pizza cravings. We ordered takeout and upon pickup it was super busy. The workers (assuming owners) were super friendly and because we waited 10 min, they gave us a free cheesecake slice. I loved the consistency of the pizza dough. Doesn't fall apart when you pick it up, crunchy crust and chewy on the inside. We also tried the Detroit pizza! We were told it's their fan favorite and we definitely agree. It is however, on the pricier side.
This place is an absolute GEM, the fire brick oven rocks. All the pizzas are burned to a perfection…..the garlic cheese bread is amazing, the meat balls and marinara were good. To the folks whom need ranch their ranch is Great…….overall we try to take all of our visiting family members here.
Good place to try unique pizzas. Went there for a nice lunch today with parents and grandmother. We took my sister there for her birthday. She enjoyed the pizza and so do we. They taste delicious! The waiter that served us today was very kind and was quick too. He boxed our pizzas as requested. It wasn't busy which that's very nice. Not too crowded or overwhelming. I'll be taking some leftover pizza to work tonight!

Amicis is just awesome. Its not just a pizza place, the lasagna is really good, as well as their other pasta dishes. The pizza is well, delicious. I grew up in San Francisco and there are plenty of good pizza places in SF. Amicis, is among if not the best and having it in Vacaville, just an hour from Sacramento worth the drive. Jackie, the hostess in Vacaville is very sweet and is always a joy to see and interact with. A place I have taken my kids to, many times and will visit many more times to come.
Amici’s in Vacaville is one of my favorite places to go with family! The vibe is always friendly and welcoming — the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy great food, and actually have a conversation. It’s casual but still feels special. The pizza here is amazing — I’m obsessed with the thick crust! It’s perfectly golden on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and holds up so well under all the cheese and toppings. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it’s always baked just right. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently great whether you’re dining in or taking out. They make you feel right at home every time. If you’re looking for a spot in Vacaville with delicious pizza, good prices, and a welcoming atmosphere for families or friends, Amici’s is definitely the place to go!
First off i feel bad i cant put names to the faces. but the 2 young Ladies closing the restaurant on 1/19 @9pm helped me tremendously with Amazing Service! it’s rare nowadays to get smiles with good service!. Also im unsure what it was but the Breadsticks were absolutely 🔥!. I’ll definitely be back for more breadsticks! Thank You! 😊😋
Amici’s is a weekly order for my husband and myself. They are one of the most consistent restaurants we dine at, meaning, no matter what time we order, what day, how busy they are etc it is ALWAYS hot, fresh and well worth our money spent. The customer service is exceptional and if there is ever an error or issue with an order (which has maybe happened in a very minor level a couple times for us) it is ALWAYS handled and in a way that truly keeps us returning week after week.
We, as always, enjoyed our meal. The service was great as well. If you are a senior there are certain promo’s that make the meal truly affordable. I recommend going to their site and giving it a try!!

We ordered diffent mini pizzas and all were good. Appetizers were small in portion. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice
Not bad at all! Pricey but has the Best mac and cheese I’ve had in the area by far. Very creamy, polite staff and I ordered a small pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños and hot Italian sausage. Now the pizza itself was a good portion as they have 4 different sizes. The smallest size “mini” is just that so I would consider ordering at least a small. The pizza was smooth, I usually like stuff to stand out flavor wise but nothing overpowered anything. The “spicy” food isn’t spice at all as I wasn’t even able to distinctively taste the jalapeños or Italian sausage, however! It was pretty good still, can’t go wrong by coming here and expecting some overall above average food. The chicken wings were exceptionally good as well. I rated a 4 because one of the waiters was talking bad about other employees in front of customers.
I'll start by saying that I haven't had the pizza here, only the pasta. I got the orecchiette and was impressed with the flavor. I did think the portion size was small, especially considering the almost $14 price tag. Maybe if the meal came with a soup or salad side then I would feel justified paying the price, but unfortunately it does not. I will say that the service was great, and they were very attentive to all of us including our 15 month old. Still, for the price, I would probably stick to the pizza here.
Excellent pizza selection. Specialty veggies and cheeses to choose from. Brick oven baked crust pizza by far is my favorite. The salads too are so delicious. Fresh greens served chilled. Excellent Lemon n herb vinaigrette dressing. The pizza crust has a delicate soft texture with authentic French bread taste. Nice outside dining area, friendly staff and nice location that is family friendly.
Good place to get any pizza without meat. Solid thin crust.
2nd Edit: The chicken strips are tasty when done right. I do think the price is still a bit high. And again, the pizza is fantastic. Thank you to the management team for making it right. Edit: They have provided a gift card so we can try the order again. I will update when we try revisit. Original Review: We've enjoyed the pizza for years, local favorite so why leave a review? But I'm just shocked that you'd let these out of your kitchen let alone out the door. These are chicken strips if you can believe it. I've split them in half (and took a bite of one) so you can see your shame. And for 10 buckaroonies too... 2 stars 'cause the spicy ranch was dope for that one bite. I'd like my money back. Edit: They have provided a gift card so we can try the order again. I will update when we try revisit.
Staff was great, atmosphere was good. The food was good but I don't think a small pizza and small pasta should be $50 (with tip) for what your getting. Don't get me wrong, it's good just wish the portions were bigger for what you are paying.
In town visiting & went in for a quick bite. Liked the layout of the place & very the service was very nice. Tried a little of everything & everything was good but pricey. You can taste the oven & it gives a different taste. Kind of like eat coast brick pizza. We'll be back to try more.
A good place to eat. Had Pizza, Salad, and iced tea. Not OMG but good for me. Crust was intentially over baked as a style, but was not as thin and crispy as some brick fired places. Tea was decent but not memorable. Caesar salad had optional anchovies. See image. Pizza was on time and hot. My wife enjoyed the salad. Prices were appropriate. Ambiance was conversable and staff was cordial, clean, and capable. Overall a safe experience to bring guests for a satisfying outing.
It's one of the best pizza restaurants. The pizza was very good. I had only eaten at an Amici's once before in San Ramon CA., this one tasted just as good or better. We made our own toping pizzas. I had the standard pepperoni and black olive, and I ate a whole small. My wife had pepperoni and artichoke hearts. She only wished hers had a little more pepperoni. The service was very good.
I quite enjoy this location. We came to eat on a Thursday for dinner. We were able to sit right away. The food is always good and I like the variety in the menu. It does take a little bit of time to get your order, but it’s worth the wait, I do recommend together for casual lunch or dinner if you craving Italian food. I do recommend you try the chicken wings, the garlic bread, the pizza and the ravioli.
First time stopping in because I was craving a good slice of NY pizza. It was a Sunday around noon, and the place was pretty packed. Fortunately, my girlfriend and I were seated right away. Upon looking at the menu, I gotta say the first though was sticker shock. Seriously, this place is not budget friendly at all! A medium cheese pizza was $14 and my girlfriend's small specialty pizza was the same price. Yikes! Price aside, the pizza was really good. Not a whole lot of choices around her for NY style pizza. Good flavor and the crust was awesome! I wish the sold by the slice here.

Salad was amazing, that's about it. I dont get the fascination with their pizza. Wings were "meh". When ordering, I would suggest you take a picture of the menu and then compare it to your bill. They kind of pulled a fast one on us when were were there, for that reason alone, I wouldn't go back. You should be able to trust that the price on the menu is what you'll eventually be charged. "You must've gotten an old menu" is NOT a reasonable excuse for why the bill was almost $20 more than calculated.

Great pasta, pizza so so. Good customer service. Will not return, not worth the price.
New to the area and decided to try this place. Wow, so disappointed. Wayyy too expensive for the amount of food, and the taste was good but not great.
If you don't tip 20% on a pick-up order, they will purposefully make it wrong. The staff treats the customer with contempt at that point. It's been repeated time and again. Feels like an upper managment decision and training. Would not recommend or go back to Amici's in the future. Response to owner: My experience with this location has been over the past 3 years. This is not a one time occurrence. Feedback was submitted to Amici's website before posting the original review, no response was received. Personally I am moving on from being a customer. The tactics are off putting, 10-15% tip on a pick up order should be plenty for the staff. Saying tips are not expected is grossly under- estimating the reality at your restaurant.
Order a pepperoni pizza & the waiter brought out a cheese pizza. Asked for a fresh one & Thay just recooked one Thay brought out with pepperoni which ended up just drying it out making the crust rock hard wasn’t even edible when I got home and ended up just throwing it away. Will not be going back anytime soon Incredibly disappointed with the quality and the service.
