Asturian cider house in Valladolid with excellent service from the staff. They have set menus for 2 or 4 people that include drinks; we chose the cider, which is a must here. 100% recommended.

A cozy cider house restaurant with top-quality ingredients and great prices. We ordered the cider house menu (€30/person) and it was spectacular. We also had fried squid and oxtail croquettes. The grilled baby squid on the menu were by far the best I've had lately—absolutely exquisite. The cachopo (breaded and stuffed veal cutlet) was tender and full of flavor; all the food, without exception, was delicious. You can tell it's homemade and made with quality ingredients. The service was excellent, very attentive at all times, and the dishes arrived quickly—we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes to start, and everything was served promptly. It has a large terrace for nice weather and plenty of parking nearby. One of the best places I've been lately, a real find. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

It's a cozy place; the dining area isn't separated from the bar, and it's a unique space. The portions were generous, and we were satisfied. The steak we ordered was grilled, but we had to ask three times to reheat it because it got cold quickly. The waiters who served us were very pleasant. I'll definitely go back. Edited: still just as good. Make a reservation before going, as it's always full.

Sidrería bastante buena, no es la mejor ni la más auténtica de Valladolid, pero tiene variedad y calidad. El local tiene un sólo comedor interior pequeño, bien ambientado y terraza alrededor, no toda está cubierta. El trato es bueno y los precios no son económicos.

The place has a very reasonably priced menu; I recommend the cachopo menu, which is €35 per person and is very filling. The only thing we didn't like much was that the cecina cachopo had a lot of onion. The service was fabulous, though; the waitresses were very quick and friendly.

The service was good and correct. We ordered the cachopo menu...we didn't like the salad that came with it...they should specify what kind of salad it is...the scallops were delicious and the cachopo was delicious.

We ordered the €35 menu (the one with the steak) and it was pretty good except for the desserts (which were slices of Mercadona cake). I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was very good (I'll include photos). I'm not giving it a 5 star because of the posts (I find it very sad that, despite having their own desserts, they include slices of Mercadona cake on the menu), which spoil the menu.

They should warn customers that the tables for two are in a terrible location; they seated us right next to the bar as soon as we walked in. Honestly, they shouldn't put a table there, or at least warn you. It's an uncomfortable spot for both the diners and the waiters. That's why I'm giving it one star. The other table for two is in an equally bad location. If they're going to give me those tables again, I won't be back. Anyway, knowing what it's like, I'll ask. As for the food, the baby squid was good, and the cachopo and monkfish were okay, nothing special. The chef's apple tart... well, for the chef, it was expensive and dry, don't order it. The coffee was good, but two euros! 😱 It's not worth it. In short, I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Spacious restaurant with somewhat over-the-top Asturian decor. Online reservations are available. Service was adequate. The dishes we ordered (fried squid, tuna belly salad, and Iberian pork shoulder) were good. Without dessert and a bottle of cider, the total came to €30 per person.

Decepción. Hacia tiempo q no íbamos a comer y q decepción más grande nos hemos llevado. 4 personas para comer menú cachopo. La ensalada ha perdido ingredientes y se queda en un poco de verde y el rulo de cabra. Las rabas siguen estando buenísimas pero se han reducido a la mitad y q decir del cachopo...desde cuándo es un filete enrollado???? Claro para q se haga por dentro tiene q hacerse bastante por lo q está seco e incomible. Un día de bastante frío sin calefacción. Estábamos deseando acabar. Un sitio q solía tener mucha afluencia ahora casi vacio. No me extraña. No volveremos.

My visit to this cider house was, unfortunately, a huge disappointment. We went with high expectations, but the dining experience and the value for money fell far short of what was acceptable. 🍽️ The Food: Questionable Quality and Scarcity • Large Cachopo (Cachopo Menu): While the size was considerable, the quality of the ingredients left much to be desired. It was overloaded with onion, and the cured beef and cheese were shockingly scarce. The flavor and texture were more reminiscent of a poorly made hamburger than a traditional cachopo. It simply wasn't good. • Scallops: A dish that turned out to be a farce. The scallops were practically nonexistent, replaced almost entirely by a massive amount of béchamel sauce. The pieces of scallop were indistinguishable, suggesting that it contained hardly any scallops at all. • Salad: It looked like a pre-made supermarket salad (like the kind you find at Mercadona). The portion was small and, to make matters worse, served with frozen blueberries, which detracted from the dish's freshness and appeal. • Chorizo ​​in Cider (€9): An excessive price for a simple dish that didn't stand out. • Potatoes with Cabrales Cheese (€8.50): They were frankly disgusting, and the amount of Cabrales sauce was minimal. 💸 Exorbitant Prices and Location • Cachopo Menu (2 people): €54 for such a low-quality meal is a disproportionate price. • Cider: €6 for a bottle of cider seemed extremely expensive, especially considering the restaurant's location. • Coffee with Orujo: €2.20 for a coffee with "a few drops" of orujo cream is also a high price for what was offered. 🛑 Conclusion The value for money at this establishment is terrible. The food is low quality, poorly prepared, and served with ridiculously small portions of the main ingredients, while the prices are what you'd expect from a top-tier establishment. I do not recommend this place.
