My favourite place in Como! Situated in Piazza Cavour, this splendid coffee shop/ bar/ restaurant caters to all needs. Whether you’re looking for a cosy coffee, a swanky cocktail or a healthy salad - this is a great option! They’ve also got some delectable goodies if you’ve got a sweet-tooth.

I am surprised to see so many negative reviews as my experience was nothing but great. I really enjoyed the pastry and coffee. The prices are good and the presentation is very nice. I definitely recommend to stop by here whether you wait for your ferry or just headed to walk in old town Como.

the bar is open from 7:30, at 8:10 it was closed although the workers had already prepared everything and were inside, we knocked on the door and they just looked at us and went to their kitchen to drink coffee without opening the door for us. Although we often went to this bar. After that we stopped having breakfast there. And another minus is that they only accept payment by card.

The AC is amazing, which helps in the summer on the beautiful lake como. Now I look American so naturally there's a propensity to mess with me. Upon ordering my second drink, a mojito, I was delivered a jungle of mint and lime. The waitress looked at the skate board looking bartender and looked dumbfounded at him, In Spanish he replied, " no te preocupas" (don't you worry) and dropped off my jungle looking drink. Lo and behold, I speak fluent Spanish (I took 3 years of high school Spanish) In summation, I had a great time, everyone else except the platter serving, part time bartender was amazing. Id go back there for the air conditioning and the mint.

Got into the first open cafe we found. Tried Mugnaia (scamorza, bacon, roasted potatoes) and a not good pistachio coffee. Pizza was good. Service was grumpy and slow. Not sure it’s due to the crowd but still expected more patience.

We enjoyed the outside seating and the restroom was very clean. We had a new waitress and she was very kind. She went back and ask a question to the staff when she was unsure of an item I requested. Another waiter came over and insured we got everything requested. We waited about 20 minutes in for our toast sandwiches. We gave a nice tip and thanked the staff. They spoke English quite well, which makes us smile because we like to practice our Italian. The food was very expensive but we were in a high tourist traffic area so it didn’t surprise us.

The bacon was a bit undercooked , and the waitress didn’t seem too happy when I asked a questions maybe just an off day. On the bright side, the drinks were really good and the barman was super friendly, which made up for it a bit.

Went there for a quick lunch today. The waitress wasn't the slightest bit friendly or attentive. Ordered the chicken with rice dish. The white rice was the worst I have ever had- no taste and the chicken wasnt seasoned, just a dash of sauce. Very bland disappointing food.

Disappointing Service The coffee was decent, but the experience was completely ruined by the poor service. The barista was impolite and seemed to be having a hard time managing the bar, which made for an unpleasant wait. It's definitely not worth the money when the service is this bad. I won't be returning.
