Ci siamo fermati qui a pranzo e il cibo era veramente squisito! Non ho mai mangiato i porcini così buoni con dei proprietari così carini. Mi hanno anche preparato la pasta vegana. Prezzi buoni, cibo e atmosfera perfetta!

UN’OTTIMA ESPERIENZA SOTTO TUTTI I PUNTI DI VISTA Il ristorante Le Arcate è stata un’autentica sorpresa! È vero: siamo arrivati di lunedì sera, non certo il giorno più affollato della settimana, per un locale. E quindi abbiamo avuto servizio e cucina completamente a nostra disposizione… Ma, al di là del momento fortunato per me e mia moglie, tutto ciò che abbiamo vissuto in quelle ore è stato davvero molto bello e buono. Innanzi tutto un servizio cortese, cordiale e sempre molto attento. La cucina è ottima, i piatti sono semplici ma tutti ben eseguiti, con grande rispetto per la materia prima e le cotture. Ottima la tartare con tartufo nero e anche la frittura dei carciofi in pastella. Molto buoni i primi: sia io, sia mia moglie abbiamo preso dei ravioli di porcini burro e salvia con tartufo. Per secondo un’eccellente tagliata e delle sarde a beccafico per mia moglie. Dessert eccellenti: la mela caramellata ai frutti rossi con crema alla vaniglia è stata, a detta di mia moglie, la migliore che avesse mai mangiato! Io ho trovato davvero molto golosa la crema catalana con caramello e croccante. iI prezzi sono ottimi e comunque molto interessanti, per essere in provincia di Varese. Il locale è molto grazioso, forse leggermente demodè ma, devo dire, a me non dispiace questo tipo d’atmosfera. Tra l’altro, ho apprezzato moltissimo l’ingresso separato dalla sala, in modo che i commensali non siano disturbati dal viavai dei clienti e dagli spifferi d’aria… La carta dei vini non è vastissima (cosa che tra l’altro approvo, in un locale di questo tipo), ma le bottiglie sono scelte con molta cura. I ricarichi sono corretti, considerate le etichette (noi abbiamo preso un Pinot Nero di Elena Walch a 35 euro). Insomma, un’ottima esperienza, davvero inaspettata. Grazie di cuore!

Ammetto che esternamente non è molto ad impatto ed anche la possibilità di parcheggio non è evidente, è un fattore al quale però è sufficiente adattarsi. Ma all'interno cambia tutto, la signora che ci ha serviti è stata gentile e sempre sul pezzo, servizio rapido e piatti ottimi. Abbiamo preso antipasti, primo, secondo e dessert, non hanno lesinato sulle porzioni ed anche il tartufo era ben presente nei piatti. Pienamente soddisfatti e posto molto consigliato! Grazie! Torneremo!

L’abbiamo trovato per caso su internet, la signora che serviva gentilissima ci ha spiegato in ogni minimo dettaglio i piatti, cibo fresco e di qualità, prezzi buoni. Consigliatissimo.

I had a truly wonderful time! As a vegan, I really appreciated the owners' helpfulness and hospitality. They offered me several vegan options, including seasonal ones, and anything but ordinary: not the "usual" pasta with tomato sauce or grilled vegetables. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but inside the restaurant is quite spacious, very welcoming, and authentic. The food was truly excellent! A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

An old-fashioned trattoria. Simple but tasty cuisine. Attentive and friendly service. The only drawback is the dated atmosphere and the smell of fried food. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

An uninspiring building with a tiny parking lot, but the interior is old and elegant. Three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two desserts, water, and two drinks, about €40 per person. Everything was delicious; my gnocchi with parmesan cream and truffle shavings were worth the visit alone. It's a shame we were all teetotalers, because the sommelier has certifications posted everywhere. The place is a bit chilly; I recommend a sweater.

Hidden gem. Very traditional Italian cuisine with many seafood dishes. We had enjoyed one of the best authentic quality meals in Italy made with love and passion for the craft. This kind of restaurant will disappear unfortunately, the owners will be the last generation. Enjoy going there as long as you can. Service was excellent.
