Opiniones de Nueva Venice
Come to Nueva for delicious Mexican food in an ultra-hip and trendy setting. We loved the massive patio and indoor-outdoor setup. The menu is expansive and I can see myself returning several times and trying something new each trip! There are lots of vegetarian and some vegan options as well. Best of all, the place feels more expensive than it actually is - prices are reasonable. Highly recommended and now it's one of my favorite spots in town! The large patio makes this place a good choice for groups. You'll need a reservation for peak times though. Pay $12 for valet or find street parking.
Love this spot. The food and vibe work perfectly with Marina Del Rey. They are dog friendly too, which is a plus. I’ve had their breakfast open tostada and it was delicious. The tortilla was crunchy, the right amount of spices were used and it wasn’t oily. Their drinks are varied and so far all delicious. The Sotol drinks stands out for me personally and it’s strong 👌🏼. Classic ceviche was delicious. The octopus taco was very good and I recommend it as well as the sea bass taco. Absolutely tasty and surprisingly filling.
Was planning on spending the evening at “The Little Friend” that’s behind this restaurant. The place was dead. So walked over to Nueva instead. So glad we did. Everything worked out well. Food and drinks were tasty and good sized portions. Due to the holidays, the place was less busy than would be typical based on our read of the place. Server staff was attentive and food arrived quickly.
For tacos in LA, Nueva is a tad pricey but worth it for the servers & atmosphere. You can make a reservation on the Resy app and they have valet available if you can’t find street parking. Seating: The patios are both spacious and dog friendly. The one where we sat was covered (rain-safe) and well heated. They also brought a water bowl for my dog Olaf! Apps: The green cilantro emulsion sauce that comes with the Crispy Cauliflower ($15) is the best part, with lime, jalapeño, and Parmesan cheese. My friend got the pork taco and really appreciated that it had the same cilantro emulsion on top. Tacos: The tacos are priced individually, so be aware of this while ordering. I found 2 tacos + sharing an appetizer was enough food for me. I really appreciated that their tacos are served on gluten free, organic blue corn tortillas. The Shrimp Taco was one of the specials of the evening and it was my favorite of the two I tried. The Braised Short Rib Taco ($7.50) had a mezcal glaze, cabbage slaw, radish, and cucumber, topped with cilantro. I wish there had been more sauce or salsa on the short rib taco because it was a little drier than I’d expected, but it was still tasty. Mocktails: I love that they had non-alcoholic cocktail options for those not drinking. The Passionfruit Picante Spritz ($9) is refreshing, with passionfruit, habanero, Thai chili, tamarind, and lime mineral water. It was even served in a cute glass with an orchid flower. I do wish they had another type of straw, such as agave, instead of the paper straw because it started to bend. Cocktails: The Tepache Mule ($17) was very popular at our table. With mezcal, pineapple tepache, ginger, lime, mineral water, and bitters. It also was very visually appealing with two pineapple leaves as a garnish.
Super chill atmosphere! Margaritas are Awesome! Very good non alcoholic drinks as well! Props to the bartender for sure!! Food menu is good. AAA suggested this so here we are.
We went on the opening day. The food was great. I would recommend the Mediterranean taco, Hamachi and Uni ceviche, and Ribeye. Chip and Guac is great too. The Ribeye is cooked perfectly. It went so well with the shishito peppers, onion, and garlic sauce.
I love Nueva. The food and drinks are delicious, it's perfect for groups, families and sunny brunches. The newly designed space is a welcoming and comfortable. Try to order several plates to share and taste the savory and authentic Latin flavors in a variety of dishes. The staff is very personable and warm. It's one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants.
Drunk selection is interesting and food is delicious. The outdoor seating is large with heaters. The inside is stellar with mid century modern design. End your night at the hidden bar inside.
High quality food & drinks.. and the service was great! I ordered a Margarita that had a slight smokey / mezcal flavor to it that I wasn't expecting. I loved it! But the manager feared that I wasn't crazy about it, so he voluntarily knocked it off the bill. I made up for it in the tip, but yes.. very thoughtful. And I think this place will be a regular destination for me.
Such a great experience coming here. Beautiful outdoor space (although a little noise from the street), spacious but cozy, with twinkle lights and heat lamps. Wonderful atmosphere, great cocktails and yummy food (with good vegetarian options). Also the service was top notch... not too in your face, but checked in enough to make sure we were doing okay. Will definitely be coming back.
Delicious, cozy, great energy. Margaritas are yummy, guac is incredible (they add olive oil for a unique grassy note), elote is buttery and citrusy and cheesy perfection, and the crispy cauliflower is addictive. Love this place.
Great spot for food and drinks. All the tacos we're good, especially the octopus one. Definitely get th carne asada quesadilla too.
Went on Halloween and it was pretty busy but they have a huge open air/ outdoor area so it was still very comfortable. Food was good and the margaritas were great and reasonably priced. Dog friendly so we will be back with our pup!
Ordered the reina picante margarita, sea bass taco and pork belly taco and it was bomb 💣💥 our waiter was super friendly and made our experience enjoyable more enjoyable!

Worth it to escape the monotony of the pandemic. Will definitely be back. Lots of vegan options if that's your thing, but also lots of fish and meat on the menu as well. Drinks were delicious, and their menu includes some Mexican liquor beyond tequila and mezcal. Specials were lovely - roasted beets and pumpkin tacos. Quite popular on a Saturday evening so make a reservation. Patio was nice and spacious with heat lamps. Valet is $12, just so you know.
Nice venue and ambiance although a bit dark to read menus if you go at night. We had extra people show up and they were able to accommodate our large party. The food is a bit overpriced in my opinion but I did enjoy the octopus taco. Very well seasoned and great blend of flavors and textures. The carne asada was tough and chewy, have had better at much cheaper prices. Everyone seemed to love the drinks.
Pretty big spot. Ample outdoor seating. Went around 2pm and it was full. Tried a lot, food was good. I ordered the carne Assad quesadilla, my gf had the chilaquiles, chips and Gus, the house salsa was very good! Interesting cocktails. Paloma was off but their tequila sunrise was very refreshing. They add passionfruit to it! Ended the meal with the churro dessert
The food was delicious and the drinks were good. We went on a very busy Monday and our food ticket got lost so we ended up waiting a very long time to eat. Other than that I would definitely go back.

Mediocre at best. Dishes are very small with cheap ingredients. For example, breakfast burrito was mostly rice. The seafood cocktail was a small bowl with chips. We really didn’t like anything that we ordered and it was super expensive.
The food wasn't all that great. I ordered the Shakshuka and it was pretty blah. My sister in law made it WAY better. If you don't eat worry no worries. You're not missing out.
