Opiniones de Beacon Coffee Company Ventura
Beacon coffee is a treat on those mornings I find myself in Ventura. The coffee selection is simple and precisely prepared. The tea selection, both hot and cold, are always delightful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pastry offerings are always delicious. Be it a muffin, a hand pie or a small tart, the selection has been different every time I visit. There is always a twist to the selection which makes the pastry unique and memorable. Today's Lumberjack Coffee Cake had a crispy shredded coconut topping and a soft apple cinnamon center. Looking forward to my next visit.
Best coffee I’ve had in ‘24. Depth, multifaceted, and makes you want to show up the next day. Good coffee can be like a good movie, it makes you think about it the next day. Yes, Beacon did it for me but maybe I just miss Ventura. People there are super nice and they even have classes for coffee aficionados. Most charge you but it gets you involved and sounds like a fun learning experience. I’d come back for it.
Love this local roaster! I love buying their coffee as gifts for other coffee lovers, they even package it up really cute in their bag so it’s ready to gift! So happy I found this place!
This coffee you guysssss!!! It's so good! As soon as you walk in, you get greeted by the friendliest staff! Top-notch service I got the honey cappuccino, and I honestly was so impressed! I'm a huge coffee lover and extremely picky. It had me at the first sip and just kept getting better! I also tried a pastry and just WOW!!! This is definitely a new go-to spot!
AMAZING Rio Negro black cup of Coffee and their cheese scone(?)Was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend. Could use some outlets as I had to leave with my second cup to charge my laptop in the car. Baristas were just the right amount chatty for me. Awesome sunlight in the morning there.
This place is a hidden gem for coffee. If you enjoy good coffee, then look no further. The coffee is roasted in house and sometimes, you can even see them roasting the beans while you wait. I had their specialty coffee this time and it was an orange chocolate blend. It tasted like that orange flavored chocolate ball. It was scrumptious. Yes. I said scrumptious. I thought I would never say that about coffee. When I'm in town, this is my morning spot!!!
Really good coffee, it actually tastes the way it’s supposed to. I just stumbled upon this coffee shop and I am hooked, I will definitely make this one of my frequent coffee stops on my weekends!100% percent recommend.
Super friendly staff. Excellent coffee. Order the lavender mocha if they have it. They even post for coffee classes.
Despite being tough to find, it's well worth it. Smooth coffee, not bitter at all. Baristsas know what they are talking about and do an amazing job. Sausage maple biscuit, or bacon maple biscuit is on point. Flat white, smooth as can be.
Great beans! Their coffee offerings in the shop are also delicious! I'm sold as a regular!
Probably the best $3 coffee you can find. They do a rotating “coffee of the day” for $3.25. They use their own beans and it’s an automated pour over. Pretty good. The location is a little isolated. If you feel like you might be going to their headquarters or warehouse by accident, you’re going the right way.

Beacon is the best! The coffee is roasted fresh and you can watch the roasting process as it happens. They have the absolute best REAL matcha in town and the staff is incredible. Can't recommend more highly.
Best coffee I’ve had in the area and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got the coffee of the day drip which was a washed Guatemalan and it was delicious. Balanced, sweet, chocolatey, just the right amount of acidity. A really nice medium roast. Also got the seasonal chocolate chile latte which was awesome. Not too sweet, a tiny bit spicy, very flavorful. One of the best of these seasonal flavored lattes that I’ve tried. Still highlighted the coffee while being fun and accessible. Really great option for anyone in the area, coffee lovers and coffee nerds both.
They have "homemade vanilla" syrup here, which I like because usually that stuff from the pump or syrup bottle tastes weird and chemcially. This stuff was great! I got a nice sweet vanilla flavor in my coffee without the gross stuff.
Located in a weird spot; I had to drive around a bit. But the coffee is excellent and the pastry I had was extremely good.

Very friendly barista and cute little quaint place!! Got a hot mocha and it was a bit tart but good. (More of a dark chocolate type mocha) I added 2 stevia and some sugar in the raw on top it & it was amazing! I will definitely be back 🥰

Friendly staff, the chili infused biscuit was quite good, and my latte was well made. I picked up a bag of beans for doing pour overs. Will update once I’ve had a chance to grind and pour some coffees. Great to see a local roaster in the area!

Anyone going here, know this isn't starbucks don't come in expecting this, I didnt, but read reviews and see people did, so be warned! It is a typical coffee shop. Meaning there is maybe 7 things on the menu and none of it has sugar syrups. Just coffee and milk and some teas. They have a seasonal flavor, homemade vanilla and honey option. I got the flat white with honey. It was good coffee. Nothing really special. I got the cheese Danish. It was good but not a Danish more like a bagel/apple thing. light flavor. The space was tight: about 5 booth chairs close to one another along a wall, and two small outdoor tables. I wouldn't sit and read here or work, which is something I look for with these coffee places. Paid about $15 with tip. Customer service was nice. I'd come again, it wasn't bad, not amazing for me though.

Asked lady at the cashier if baristas can do two short Americanos, lady at the cashier said yes, my partner and I had received usual Americano with a bunch of water. Because of the high number of people in the store I couldn’t ask to redo it. I won’t be back to the coffee shop that does not do basic coffee modifications after saying that they will do it. Had to throw away the coffee.

Very average. The seating part is not very inviting. The staff was rude. I watch them roast some green coffee beans that had a straight line… why have a computer if you don’t have profiles for your roast. Worse yet. My cappuccino had small bubbles in the espresso next to the frothed milk! Verve would never sold a cappuccino like that. ..

Was really looking forward to trying this new place and was extremely disappointed. The place inside is nice but I ordered a chai latte and it was just hot milk. Didn’t taste like chai at all. Will not be coming back - complete waste of money (and for 5-7$ with tip???)
