We love coming here with our kids. The food is delicious traditional Colombian asado and at good prices. Our kids love the playground and being outside of Bogotá away from the pollution. One note is that we have NEVER needed a reservation and you CAN pay with a credit card.

Great restaurant to go with family and friends !! Open espace if you want to go with child’s as well ... just 40 min away from Bogotá , enjoy the beatifull lake view ... food is good , you have to try chicharrón , morcilla , chunchulo and arepa de choclo with cheese ...

Excellent food and a variety to choose from. Fast service, even with lots of people there. View was beautiful, and you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sun and weather.

Fantastic place out of town. Got a huge plate of meats, tamales, salsa, guacamole, etc for two. About 55000 but was more than we could possibly eat. Highly recommend

Absolutely worth the visit when in Bogota. The whole savanna area is stunning. Food at El Tambora is well prepared, quickly served and in a beautiful outdoor setting with many different eating areas depending on preference. Food is tasty and great value with $25 easily feeding three people! Give it a try when in Bogota!!

Great place to eat all kinds of meat and pet friendly. Remember to try the dessert and to arrive on an empty stomach the portions could be huge.

Good place, good food. However, too crowded/noisy on weekends for my taste. Better get there early to get a table and beat the crowds. Parking could be a nightmare. You don't need a car to go there. A bus (flota) to La Calera can take you there for (Nov 2017) less than U.S. $ 1.

The food is delicious very tasty, only the meat need a little more of salt. The experience its awsome you can eat in the exterior and the view of the San Rafael reservoir its fantastic

I don't give this place 5 stars because I went to another Tambor location and the meat was way better, in my visit here the meat was served cold and over cooked which was a really shame because I was taking some friends for the first time to a Tambor and I had told them the meat in special was the best part of my visit to the Cajica Tambor. But the rest of the food was delicious and we had a great tine.

This place has a spectacular vista and the food is pretty good. A place to bring a large group, there is playground out front to preoccupy the kids while the adults get to work the barbeque meat that doesn't seem to stop coming.

Food is good, but the amount of people on weekends, make it very annoying, parking is difficult and the lack of planning makes it worst, you have to wait in the middle of the road

Great place if you have a big crowd of people... like Colombian family outings on Sundays. The food is okay, but you go there to be in a place with your family and not be cramped.

Went during week day afternoon, were the only couple there. Had a 4 people combo. Meats were all overcooked. Very disappointed as I had heard good reviews.

They didn’t have chunchullo, guacamole, chorizo. Crowded. Very pricy. They don’t sale personal combos. Really disappointed
